I was arrowhead Hospital working today and was feeling pretty tired. A coworker had gotten coffee earlier here and said it was really good. I decided to get one for the drive home. The young lady working behind the counter was very friendly and helped me with my order as I wasn't sure what I wanted. She recommended the caramel frapp and it was really good. Came here last week. We waited 20 minutes for our coffees. We stood there, and our names weren't called. When we asked the girl, she was rude and said she'd called multiple times. A couple of minutes later she handed us our coffees. She was argumentative with my coworker, when my co-worker opened her coffee, and found it just about half full. My co-worker asked to be topped off a bit more coffee. Mine was what I ordered. My co-worker's was not, but whatever we have to get back to work. I drank my coffee a bit, and then took the lid off to put it into my travel mug. And there was a small dead gnat floating at the top of my coffee. This place is conveniently located inside Arrowhead Regional Medical Center at the hospital's main entrance right across the gift shop. The barista is very friendly and efficient. During the last three times I was there, she was the only person working, putting in the orders, and making the drinks. There is a good selection of coffee available iced/hot in small/medium/large. A lot of patients, families, and hospital staff go here for a quick coffee run. Most of the time the wait is less than 5 minutes, but it can be longer if there is a line of 4 people +. There is a little sitting area with several tables/chairs next to the counter. If the tables are all taken, there are additional comfy cushioned seats in front of the gift shop. I'm so glad that they have boba available as well. Although it's not the best boba in town, it satisfies the craving. The thai tea boba is pretty good. On days when I don't feel like chewing boba, I usually get the thai tea without boba - this is a great pick-me-up during a long hospital shift. read more

Workers are not consistent, they make some people wait to order while they prepare a coffee and they take order after order then full fill your order. They had no boba and they put very little coffee in my drink, mostly sweet creamer and it wasn't mixed. I won't buy coffee here again. My drink didn't even give me a pick up, just felt like I drank creamer, yuck. read more

While I was at the hospital, I had a break and tried to go to the cafeteria but they didnt have what I wanted so I came to coffee nuttzz. It was actually really good! First time I had white mocha iced and second time, I had iced coffee with milk. Very good place, its close to one of the entrances and they're not usually busy. highly recommend them. read more

Whenever I'm at this hospital I always have to stop at Coffee Nutz! They are conveniently located at the front two entrances (Main and outpatient). The main entrance opens up earlier and stays open later (7:30 p.m.) than the smaller entrance on the outpatient side of the hospital. This is very convenient since the cafeteria here at Arrowhead closes before then. The coffee cart offers everything you would get from their main location. Gourmet hot and cold coffee. Sandwiches, drinks, chips, protein bars, lunchables, and other miscellaneous snacks. I don't know what the price comparisons is to there main location, but it is "slightly" overpriced. A can of Diet Coke goes for $1. I guess that's the price you have to pay for convenience. read more

My first experience was not too bad. My second.... A different story! I had ordered (I believe it is called chocolate chip something. Like I said, im not much of a coffee guy) but I was blown away! If you asked me what I thought about Coffee Nutz 2 months ago, I'd tell you they're great! I would go everyday and spend $5 on a fancy drink and the regular workers would know exactly what my drink was before stepping up and paying for it. Now due to dietary restrictions, I have to cut my caffeine/coffee intake drastically. I still wanted to get my daily cup of joe, but I could only have less than 1/2 of a small size. For a few weeks, I was allowed to purchase my extremely small cup of coffee for a discount between a shot of espresso and a small cup. Everything was well. Until today. I was informed by a young woman (who had an attitude) that there would be no charging of less than a small cup of coffee--$1.59 even though it's less than half full (nearly 1/3). I see they don't care about customer service or even customer loyalty after spending nearly $100/month for 2 years. read more
