I had a few questions about the menu, and while the baristas were friendly, one of them wasn't able to answer everything I was curious about. I was also recommended to try the matcha without honey, with the suggestion that if I really liked the quality of the matcha, it would be best enjoyed on its own. Unfortunately, the matcha wasn't quite what I was hoping for. It mostly tasted like milk with only a faint hint of matcha, so the flavor felt a bit too subtle for my taste. My mom ordered one of their pour-overs, though, and she really seemed to enjoy it. It had a bold, rich coffee flavor that she appreciated. Based on our experience, I think I'd stick to ordering coffee here next time instead of the matcha. I'd like to add that there is a lot of fresh bread and food selections made by local vendors inside the market that would go great with the coffee. I did enjoy the calm and clean atmosphere of the store. Overall my experience was pleasant.

My friend brought me their banana pudding latte as well as their ham, cheese, and jalapeño, croissant. Both, DIVINE. Extremely generous with the banana pudding a top the latte itself, and the croissant was FILLED. They ARE on the pricey side, and with good reason. Top tier quality, and quite creative. I will be returning to check it out in person and bringing people with me.

There was already a line when I arrived, and since the inside is pretty small, the line forms outside. But honestly, you can smell the bakery from the moment you walk up, so that definitely helps! As soon as I walked inside, I noticed how cool and welcoming the atmosphere was. The staff was friendly and inviting, and they took the time to actually listen to what I wanted. I told them I don't like sweet coffee drinks, and they recommended an Americano. I decided to add the cookie butter cold foam, and I'm so glad I did! What really stood out to me was the care they put into making my drink. They asked questions, made it exactly how I requested, and you could tell they took pride in what they were serving. And the coffee? Really good! It had a great coffee flavor without being overly sweet. Of course, I couldn't leave without getting some treats for later. I picked up: Ham & cheese croissant, Blueberry scone and an Orange scone. I'll definitely be back to try something different. There are way too many things on the menu that I still need to try!

Their roasts are consistently good, whether I'm having their house blend or trying one of their single origins. I honestly don't think I've ever had a bad espresso here. They also make some of the best tasting and most creative drinks I've had at a specialty coffee shop. Everything feels like it's made with care and precision. I still remember my first visit because I came specifically to try their coffee horchata slush. I'm VERY picky about horchata, especially when a place says they make it themselves. Hands down, theirs is probably the best, or at least one of the two best, horchatas I've ever had. That drink alone made an impression on me.They also do a great job of keeping things interesting. Last month they were debuting a different slush flavor on the patio every weekend. I love little things like that because it gives you another reason to come back and try something new. I don't really want to recommend one specific drink because I've had so many good ones here. There have definitely been a couple of their more creative drinks that weren't necessarily for me, but that was completely about my personal taste and not the quality of the drink. The ingredients were good and the drink was made well. It just wasn't a flavor profile I personally gravitate toward. That's part of the fun of trying specialty coffee. The pastries they bring in are another bonus. Having great pastries alongside this level of coffee just makes the whole experience better. I also want to thank everyone who has helped me here over all my visits. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone by name because the weekends can get pretty busy, so there usually isn't much time for conversation. Despite how busy it gets, I've always appreciated the service. The inside isn't huge, and on weekends it can sometimes be difficult to find a table. If you're planning to bring a laptop and work for a while, I'd probably recommend coming during the week instead. They do have a covered outdoor patio that has a really cool vibe, especially on weekends when they bring in music and local food vendors.

I got a teacher discount for the Summer which was a sweet surprise! Roast The Dead is more of a grab-n-go spot as I didn't see any tables. It's smaller and has dark lighting for that spooky aesthetic. I LOVED it, I'll be back! There's a huge menu of options so there's multiple choices for everyone's taste. I attempted to stir the drink as much as possible, but was only able to finish a 1/4 of it. I'm wondering if hot would have been better for the blending of the peanut butter into the drink?!
