We came here to celebrate Father's Day and had a wonderful experience. The service was friendly and attentive, and we enjoyed sitting outdoors in a lovely atmosphere. The sushi rolls were delicious, although the crispy rice wasn't my favorite. Overall, it was a very positive dining experience, and we'd be happy to come back.

RICE is healthy, fresh, accommodating and has great fish and drink options. If you were to consult a gluten free friend, they'd likely give RICE 5 STARS. What an amazing way to give GF peeps access to some of everyone's favorite sushi "go tos". I've been here twice for my GF bestie because she loves it SO much. While I personally like the yellowtail jalapeño sashimi & the cucumber salad the most, I also was unable to try some of the menu due to my soy & shellfish allergies. My friend Steph LOVED the access to GF tempura but opted into some fried lobster cut roll she was literally salivating over. The saki cucumber drink was a little sweet for me but also great as we went on a super hot day. We sat outside on the street and enjoyed the sunshine. Service was great and they're super helpful and on it when it comes to any special requests.

I'm a big ramen fan. I love everything about it, the process, the broth, the delicious flavorful meat. That's why I picked this lace to try, and I truly wish I could give this place 5 stars, but the ramen was missing that umami you look for in deep flavorful broths. I didn't have enough stomach space for sushi, but I'm hoping that when I come back to try that part of the menu, I'm blown away. As for service, it was very good and prompt. The food order was taken quickly and the food was served just as fast. Definately earned 4 stars for the service and ambiance. The ambiance was nice, with several indoor tables and some seating outside.

My favorite place to go for sushi. They have regular and vegan sushi and a delicious kabocha pumpkin dish you cannot find anywhere else. My teenage daughter loves their ramen. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. Both locations are equally fantastic.

The food was amazing! Both the vegan options and the fish. They have so many allergen friendly options but it doesn't stop it from being amazing food. The service was great and included hot chamomile tea at the end of our meal.

We decided to try the sample prix fixe course for $35 in celebration for a friend's bday lunch. Chose the corn soup (brought back memories in Japan), really delicious, fresh garlic albacore and you could choose a roll. I had the lobster roll which was delicious, cooked just right without it being dry or overcooked. The passion fruit mochi had good flavor. I'd like to go again and try the other goodies! Service was great, attentive and kind. You could choose to sit inside or out. また来ます。

Food - The food was amazing the cucumber salad was everything. Service - We did not have a reservation but when we walked up we were seated quickly. We sat outside since it was a nice day. Overall this place and a hidden gem and I would recommend people to try it out.

We've been here twice in two weeks! The service is consistently great. The ambience reminds me of restaurants in Tokyo- a small space used well. It's lively and welcoming. The food is amazing! It's so hard to find good gluten free Asian food so this place is a gem! Over the years, we have been here a several times and everything is good. We recommend trying: tempura (bc you can't get gluten free tempura in many places) shishito peppers, Brussel sprouts, anything with crispy kale, garlic edamame, garlic toro kale (something like that), any of the sushi items, and the crispy sushi, too. My husband also likes their yellowtail collar. To drink, I like the sake cocktails, but I actually love their yuzu maple hot ginger non alcoholic beverage! I'm usually so stuffed that I don't have room for dessert but their coconut and mango mochi ice cream is nice if you want a taste of sweetness. We also came for an early birthday celebration for me and they made it so special. We will definitely be back soon!

yes, we have "ground breaker" gluten free beer.

Their food is all gluten free.

No lot, just street parking. Usually not too hard to find, although you may need to circle a few times.

Rice is a small restaurant and does not have an outdoor dining area. I believe that the state law allows dogs in a restaurant's outdoor seating area only.

The service is top tier, servers are very well mannered and friendly. Inside is a cozy vibe with multiple tv turned on to sports channel. I loved their booth seating it was unique and cute. I didn't feel rushed, finished plates were cleared without asking, and our waitress (sorry we forgot your name but you made this dinner amazing for us) was very fun and made sure we were good on time since we told her we were going to see Bruno mars at sofi. Everything we ordered was amazing. I was just a tad bit disappointed by their signature squash buns and their Dutch apple pie. The buns just tasted like regular stale dinner rolls warmed up and the apple pie slice was cold and bland. The salted caramel sauce was the star of the dessert. Only downside was how hot that place was with the sun going down and being directly at us. Crazy we're having this bad of a heat wave in the middle of October. I will definitely be thinking about this dinner for a while. We probably would've stayed longer for some drinks and hung out at the beach for the sunset, but Bruno was waiting for us. Thank you guys so much, we'll definitely be back!

We took our 13 month old and man was it so so cramped in there, parents, please leave your babies/toddlers at home or opt to eat outside (we couldn't since it was raining). We ordered oysters, snow crab claws, octopus blue crab ceviche, steamed Manila clams, and key lime pie for dessert. The steamed Manila clams were a total let down. The broth was so overly salted it overpowered the clams completely. HOWEVER, the oysters, crab claws, ceviche, and key lime pie were nothing short of DIVINE. We woke up the next morning still raving about them. Favorite dish hands down was the ceviche- a literal sea flavor bomb! We ended up asking for the pie to go and our server was sweet enough to not charge us for it for celebrating our anniversary. It was such a great balance and sweet, salty, and sour. Overall, aside of the cramped space and super salty clam steamer, we thoroughly enjoyed our food.

And yes... it really IS very, very good! Crispy on the outside, warm and soft inside, we ended up eating two more pieces. Thank you to our kind waiter for keeping the bread coming. We each started with a bowl of clam chowder, which was creamy and delicious. It was also perfect for dipping that warm sourdough bread into. We also shared the grilled octopus, which was very tender. For our entrees, we went with the barramundi and seabass, and we really enjoyed both. Our waiter brought us with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream topped with sprinkles and a candle for our anniversary. Such a cute touch! We got to enjoy our dessert while taking in the beautiful sunset view, which made the evening even more special. We dined on a Wednesday night when it wasn't too busy, and there was plenty of self-parking available. We did notice the valet sign, but it looked like valet service was closed that evening. The place is really cute, clean and just a little upscale - great for locals and visitors alike. As we seated, we ordered our drinks. They were all great and quickly served. They do know how to make a nice, dirty martini. We started with the house made focaccia and cheddar biscuits. That focaccia was warm, light and delicious with butter. Everyone loved it. Then, the biscuits showed up and stole the show. Order the biscuits. I ordered the sea scallops dish, very tasty and light. The other standout on the table was the Monday night special of fried chicken. My peer and boss split that dish and it was plenty. Half of a chicken, perfectly battered and fried! For dessert, we all shared the cheesecake and budino. Very cute place for brunch events as well. All of the staff were very good and multiple people helped serve the table. Go there, get some. Life is too short for boring food.
