Revolution Roasters is one of my absolute favorite coffee spots in Oceanside. Is the parking a challenge? Absolutely. But it's 100% worth it. This place has such a loyal following that people will happily walk a few blocks just to get their Revo fix. One of my favorite things is their seasonal menu. I've learned to fully embrace each special while it's here because once it's gone, it's gone. Right now, I'm completely obsessed with the Coconut Mango Sticky Rice Matcha. I'm pretty sure the baristas recognize me as "the Sticky Rice Matcha lady" at this point! I'm soaking up every sip while it's in season, and although I'll be sad when it's gone, I know they'll surprise me with something amazing next season. Their food is just as impressive. The toast is delicious, they use Prager Brothers bread, organic avocado, and fresh tomatoes, and you can really taste the difference that quality ingredients make. It's refreshing to find a café that clearly cares about food integrity. Another huge bonus for me is that they offer almond milk. So many coffee shops default to oat milk, but I appreciate having another option that fits my preferences. The only downside is the parking. My strategy is simple: go early if you can. Once it gets busy, finding a spot can be an adventure. But even with that minor inconvenience, Revolution Roasters is absolutely worth the trip. Incredible coffee, thoughtful seasonal drinks, quality ingredients, and a team that clearly cares about what they serve. Easy five stars.
Beverages are the star of the show here. I ordered the iced coconut latte (half sweetness), its creamy coconutty deliciousness. It satisfied my latte craving while adding a tasty tropical sweetness. The cafe is gorgeous, the staffs recommendation to get half sweetness was very helpful and much appreciated. They offered to add more flavor if needed, which was so kind of them. Of the 3 pastries were ordered, I was only really a fan of the pistachio cake. The pistachio was savory but paired with the cream cheese frosting on top it was a sweet and salty treat that stood out as a clear winner. The cafe also sells coffee beans, milk glass mugs and other merch with plenty of seating inside and outside.
Revolution Roasters never misses. Great service, coastal vibe, and great drinks! This visit, I tried both of their seasonal summer drinks: the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha and the Campfire Latte. The Mango Sticky Rice Matcha had mango, coconut, and a coconut foam. The coconut flavor was absolutely delicious, but personally, I wanted a stronger matcha presence - it leaned a little too milky for my taste. If you're more into creamy tropical drinks, though, you'll probably love it. The surprise winner for me was the Campfire Latte. I'm usually not a mocha girl, but this one totally changed my mind. I ordered it half sweet, and it was perfect - smooth and balanced! The spiced dark chocolate paired so well with the marshmallow cold foam and graham cracker topping, and I especially loved the warm spices throughout the drink. Next time, I could definitely see myself ordering a cold brew with that marshmallow foam. Not pictured: the ham & cheese croissant, which is a must-order every single time I'm here. Flaky, savory, and consistently one of my favorites. Good seasonal specials and great food as always!
We visited Carlsbad for a few days and had breakfast in Oceanside. We decided to try this coffee spot as it was right next to the breakfast joint we went to. Coffee 10/10 We ordered their vanilla latte with marshmallow cold foam and their coconut latte with toasted coconut cold foam. Both were incredible! The vanilla latte was not too sweet so the cold foam wasn't overkill at all. Both cold foams are more on the runny side and not too thick. The coconut latte was sooo tasteful. The coconut flavor definitely comes through. This was our first time trying a coconut latte and we were not disappointed. Food 9/10 We didn't order much food or pastries since we had breakfast prior but the pastries did look so good! We did get a salted shortbread to try and it was pretty solid. Vibes/Ambiance : 7/10 We came on a Tuesday morning and it was busy. The space is very spacious and there's plenty of seating area. There were people working there and hanging out. It's an open space so that was nice. The decor is minimal but cute. The staff is okay...I don't know if I'd describe as friendly, but they weren't rude. Not sure if it was the city as a whole but we didn't really feel welcomed or came across too many friendly people. It was the same here. Didn't interact much with us...just took our order and kept it pushing. lol not necessarily a bad thing but it was something we experienced a lot. Overall, the coffee was amazing here.
My morning coffee run to Revolution Roasters fell a bit flat. The coffee was okay and the staff were pleasant, but I didn't leave satisfied. Our main goal of the morning was to try PopUp bagel around the corner, and we needed coffee for the line. We ordered the Coconut Latte & the Maple Latte. They were decent, but with the $1.25 up charge for almond milk, the two drinks were over $8. At that price point, my expectations are high and unfortunately they just weren't met. There's nothing inherently wrong with the coffee at Revolution Roasters so I wouldn't mind giving them another shot. Hopefully a better experience here is in my future.
I drove up to go to Boomers for a school event, and yes, I hit some traffic in the afternoon. The drive made me sleepy, so on my way back, since now the traffic was heavier, I looked for some place to grab a coffee. Revolution came up and was close. Right off of Vista Way in Oceanside. Scored a spot right in front...must've been kismit! They have the regular coffees but also some signature drinks as well. But it looks like there's some seasonal coffees too. Friendly hello when it was my turn. Me: So what do you think, butterscotch or pistachio? He: I would say pistachio because sometimes the butterscotch is too sweet for some. Pistachio it was! So definitely inquire about the seasonal coffees because this was delicious! Great flavor and dark chocolate shavings on top. This helped keep me awake on my long drive home! Love that they're local! Also bought The Colores blend which they happily ground for me, and it is really good! Mellow flavor with a hint of dark chocolate finish. I now have a great spot to stop at if in the area and in need. They have great outdoor seating that's dog friendly, and a nice dining area.
I am always on the hunt for amazing espresso when I travel. My research turned up Revolution Roasters as a top spot in Oceanside and it did not disappoint. There's ample seating inside and outside. The interior space and vibe is clean and spacious. They have a lot of great coffee options and their baked goods and breakfast options are outstanding. The Blueberry sweet corn scone was so good that I had to buy a second one for breakfast the next day. The Avocado and pickled onion toast and breakfast sandwich were also delicious. I highly recommend this spot if you're in south oceanside!!
We LOVE the vibe of this place and really want to love it but we left disappointed today. After spending over $70 on two coffees, three sandwiches, and two danishes- they do not warm up foods they serve cold. The turkey pesto sandwich, ham and cheese croissant, and banana bread, and monkey bread were all cold, and they would not warm them up. It was disappointing as my sandwich alone was $14 and it was too hard to chew without it being warmed up. I would have also loved to have had warm banana bread and warm monkey bread instead of cold. I will say that the Breakfast sandwich was excellent! I wish I had ordered it. (Sorry I didn't get a picture of that one.) I do think it is important to add that when management saw my disappointment, they were very kind and swift to resolve it. For that reason, along with the excellent coffee - I will likely try it again.
Special treat! Small menu, but everything looks good on it. There can be a long line and difficult parking. Lots of outdoor seating. Great for families and dogs.
Revo Americano! Friendly staff and yummy pastries and savory food. Visible menu was fantastic because where ever you stood inline you could decide what you wanted to order. Coffee order was quick and ambiance was very clean with an open interior concept. I Brought my Popup Bagels to Revo and enjoyed them both on the patio!

Stopped by Revolution Roasters while we were in Oceanside and enjoyed coming here on our morning walks. The coffee was good, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the shop had a really nice vibe. Service was friendly and everything came out quickly. Definitely a great coffee stop and somewhere we'd come back to next time we're in the area.
Revo Roasters has really stepped Up their game and become my fav coffee in O'side. They have the best flat-white in the game hands down. Get up, surf the harbor, grab a flat-white at Revolution Roasters, sit in the sun on their patio while I drink it and start my work day at a 10/10 in happiness.
We were driving home early and needed some coffee and a snack. We looked into Yelp for a little guidance. We decided on Revolution Roasters. As we drove closer to our destination, we quickly realized parking was going to be an issue. Street parking on a Saturday morning would be crazy waiting. We decided to park in the residential area a block away. When you walk up to the door, there's a life size menu on the wall. We checked out the menu and gazed at all the fresh bakeries. Once we decided what to get, we got in line. Don't let the long line scare you. It moves quickly. We ordered the Ham & Cheese Croissants, the Cowboy Cookie, Pumpkin Muffin, the Avo & Tomato Toast, and their seasonal Apple Fritter donut like were killer!!! We actually went back in line to order more because it was that delicious!! The Avo & Tomato toast was outstanding!! The tomatoes tasted like it was home grown!! It was FABULOUS!! Overall, everyone working were very helpful and full of energy with big smiles. Very hip decor, great vibe, and clean. Was it pricey??? Yessss, it was. Got my morning started with Revolution Roasters! They had interesting and unique drinks that sparked our interest, especially the fall ones. I'm not a fan of pumpkin spice, and Revolution's fall menu didn't include any of that. We opted for 2/3 fall items which were the Maple Latte and Salted Rosemary Cold Foam. While the maple latte didn't taste like maple syrup, the rosemary coffee really took us by surprise. The cold foam is delicious on top and has a flavor of brown butter! Definitely fall notes from this coffee. I didn't get to try a pastry although they looked heavenly and already had breakfast from another place. I'd truly recommend it here for nice quality coffee with uniquely crafted drinks! read more
Yep, this place is a real gem! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We arrived at 10:30am on Thanksgiving morning after running the Oceanside turkey trot and the place was PACKED!! Ambiance (10/5!). The place was packed, a very young crowd (mostly 20's) pretty sweet vibe : ) Coffee (11/5!). I got a maple iced latte and I loved it--very sweet, which is how I like it. Really rich maple flavor. My wife got the butterscotch pour over and she really enjoyed it too. I would go out of my way to come here again if I'm ever in Oceanside. Highly recommended. read more

Had an excellent visit this morning! Staff members were all friendly and despite a long line, they moved very quickly. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk and house made vanilla bean syrup. 4/5 stars because my order was a total of $7.75. I'm from LA so I'm used to pricier drinks, but $1.00 surcharge for plant milk and $1.00 surcharge for syrups feels like a bit much. Will come again when I'm in the area! read more

nice ladies and cool spot! the coffee... ehhhhh. got a butterscotch latte (i feel it would've been better hot given it's consistency) and a coconut latte. both were not great. couldn't taste the coconut, a little too milky, and a little too strong.. so i asked if they could please add vanilla to it, which made the coconut one better! at that point it was sort of a vanilla latte. I'd say the vanilla was good and the monkey bread was good. overall i give the place and workers 6/10 coffee 1/10. read more

Revolution Roasters is such a cute coffee spot! I came here around 10:45 am on a Friday and was lucky to find a parking spot in the little lot alongside the building. All the seats were taken indoors as I came here to get some work done on my laptop. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and the person the rand me up was super nice and had a great attitude! While my drink was being made, I went to their restroom and oh my goodness I couldn't get over how cute the bathroom was that I had to take photos! Once I got my drink, I found a spot outside and although I wasn't able to charge any of my electronics, the yummy matcha latte made up for it. It wasn't too sweet or bitter. I sat on the table in front of the window of the shop and it had sun and shade so it's perfect for people who like it warm or cool while enjoying their drink or food here which next time I'll come prepared with more of an appetite. read more

I ordered a mushroom melt from their "Seasonal Offerings" menu. On paper it looked great - Mushrooms, truffle, ARUGULA, etc. As the staff member served this to us I opened up the box with much dismay. Pictured here. Looks unappetizing, doesn't it? My gf and I were deep in conversation when I finally realized something was missing. The arugula! I had brought it up to the front of staff member, (shorted haired brunette, few tattoos on the right arm) and let her know this wasn't the sandwich they had advertised. To which she *kanye shrugged* and asked, "Well, do you still want it?" Lol, if you paid for a car wash and all I gave you was soap...would you still want the wash? Ridiculous. read more

Love this place, it's a nice short walk from Dons Country Kitchen whenever we get breakfast. My dirty iced chai was perfect. The people are nice and the decor is very cute and open. There were lots of people with laptops working, seems like a nice place to hang. read more

Two coffee shops next to each other! Who does that?! But I chose the right place. I got the Cortado with almond milk and it was so good I didnt need to doctor it up with a stevia packet. Delish! Go here! Btw so cal doesnt need another coffee shop! What happened lol! read more
They have a small amount of parking on the side of the building. Small seating outside and inside. Mostly street parking. Staff was friendly. Credit card only, no cash accepted. Ordered: Butterscotch latte: didn't like this one, the flavor was odd. Honeycomb latte: good Drinks are a little pricey and the hot drinks are very small. read more
Cute cafe in Oceanside- got the iced matcha latte and it was yummy! They have a seasonal menu which looked good too. Plenty of seating inside and outside, line can be long but goes by fast. On a busier Main Street so look out for street parking. read more

I hunt for dog friendly spots. Really cute interior and exterior. I actually didn't want a coffee today and got a kombucha on tap. They have rotating flavors and 2 size options. Super friendly staff. 10/10 would go again. read more

This place has really made our SoCal trip and we've been back over and over the past few days. The espresso drinks are fantastic (we've had the flat white, macchiato, and cappuccino) and the food is so damned good! We've repeatedly ordered the avo/tomato toast (perfectly toasted bread amount of salt and pepper and fresh wonderful tomato and avocado), ham and cheese croissant, monkey bread, and the blueberry scone (not a LoCal trip). Service has been friendly and has efficient at every visit. I highly recommend this spot and will absolutely be back (tomorrow morning probably). read more
My husband likes coming here for their coffee beans. He said it's one of the better ones. I usually come here for chai latte, which is pretty good. It's not too sweet too. The latte is pretty small, but a good size to finish it all. We also gotten a pastry here, I wish they have breakfast sandwiches though. I got a ham cheese pastry, needed eggs. I was in San Diego with family for a small vacation and we needed a cup of coffee to start the day well at least for my wife. I decided to have a cortado and I usually don't find this drink everywhere and they make it properly. Nice rich flavor and not too bitter at the same time. House coffee was great as well, not too dark and rich flavor. This will be on my list of coffee shops to come back to on my next visit to San Diego. read more

Was so excited to try this place since we heard it's one of the must try coffee shops. Definitely came in with high expectations. My daughter ordered a chai latte and I ordered the matcha latte. Maybe not their best drinks on the menu and I will definitely come back and try a coffee drink. The chai was too spicy for my daughter but the service was top notch and they immediately switched it out for a fresh oh for her which was delicious! My matcha was just kind of ok... a bit bland ... maybe I'll try adding vanilla syrup next time. The avocado toast (without the tomato) was the best per my daughter. It's simple but flavorful and the crispy toast was so buttery! The açaí bowl was good too! Will definitely visit next time and try something else! read more

The shop itself is very trendy, loved the indoor/outdoor vibe. Could've spent hours there working or hanging out in the sunshine. Merch was cute, and there was a good selection of pastries available. I would return, but not for the coffee. I personally am a bold espresso fan. The espresso and macchiato we ordered were served in paper cups (sounds silly, but ceramic makes a difference). Despite that, the presentation was good with a sip of sparkling water on the side. Unfortunately, the espresso in both drinks was very fruity and sour and that is just not our style. I know a lot of people are really into third wave coffee, but it's not for me. read more
Was excited to try this place out after seeing the reviews. Store was clean and the seating outside was nice since it was busy inside. We didn't try any food but we did get a nitro cold brew for $4.50 and it came in what looked like a child's cup and the $6 butterscotch latte I was super excited for. The latte had 0 butterscotch taste and just tasted like coffee with milk in it, super disappointing. Service was definitely interesting, we were greeted with a cold "hi" by the person taking our orders and she just didn't give the vibe she wanted to be there which just sucks for our overall experience. Not sure we'd go back again given our experience but try it out for yourself. read more

I love this coffee place I wish that it was in my town!!!!! We tried the salmon toast, tomato+burrata toast, and the cream cheese and jam toast. They were all the bomb.com let me tell you and made us all full!! Also got a cold brew, tried it black but needed a little almond milk so they added a splash and it was perf!!!! Their homemade almond milk is amazing!!! Super nice staff and has a self serve water station!!! Will definitely be coming back when in the area read more
Came around 9am for breakfast. I've heard great things.. FOOD AND BEVERAGES. The food looked very delicious, they mentioned they make the food and it looks soo good! I tried the Citrus Cardamom and it was soo tasty!! Loved the cream cheese frosting. The Honey Mint Matcha was pretty delicious!! -The parking lot right next to the building is small. - cute Merch!!! Staff was very friendly, thank you so much! I'll swing by again on a weekend after a hike to try that sandwich. read more

Great food and coffee! They are polite (for the most part) and pretty quick with getting your coffee order out. My personal favorites are the ham and cheese croissant and the vegan maple pecan poptart; they are must try's! My only real issue with this place is the price they charge for both the food and coffee. The coffee portions are too small to charge patrons $6 and their sandwiches are nearly $10 but they only consist of about $5 worth of sandwich.. Still tasty though. read more

I had the infamous butterscotch coffee and sadly it didn't taste like butterscotch at all. It was cute shop, staff was sweet and very friendly. I also got the famous pop tart very tangy but the crust was pretty good. Was it $6 worth I'm not sure but it was a nice atmosphere. Sadly coffee didn't taste like the name however the coffee was good just maybe needs more attention since the other reviews are reflecting what I'm saying as well. I really wanted to say that this coffee was amazing because I love giving great reviews! I would say try it for yourself and make your own decision. read more

Is this a good place to study? Or is it a noisy area?
Not really. There's a lot of human traffic (people walking by, not being "trafficked"). Also RR is on the busiest and loudest north-south artery on the coast for vehicles. It might work with a good set of headphones, but I would recommend the beach…

Are you Pet friendly?
We have a huge patio with tons of pets outside! Unfortunately do to Health Department regulations we cannot allow pets inside. Service animals are of course more than welcome!
I asked if their bread was vegan and they said no..but on the Prager brothers website there are no animal ingredients. What makes the avocado toast not vegan?
Yes only because we butter the toast! Just ask for no butter :)
