I brought this up to Anthony when we were in the office and he was able to take care of the spare tire for no charge.

I've been trying to purchase a Tacoma from Camelback Toyota because I've had good experiences with the dealership in the past, including buying my Tundra there. My family has also purchased several other vehicles over the years, including Lexus models from other dealerships, so I'm very familiar with the car-buying process. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing due to the way Mike, one of the managers, handled the situation. Initially, Ryan had quoted me $4,500 for a lift and tire package. Later, when I spoke with Mike, he changed the price to $4,875. When I asked why the price was different, he said it was because this was a different truck. I explained that the truck shouldn't matter because I was simply purchasing the same lift and tire package. I also asked whether I could keep my original tires if I purchased the package. Mike told me no and said the original tires had to stay unless I paid an additional $600. This confused me because when I purchased a lift and tires through the same dealership in the past, I was allowed to keep my original tires at no extra charge. I mentioned that I had already called other shops and found the same setup for about $1,000 less, but we were still considering doing the work at the dealership to help protect the truck's warranty. When I bought my Tundra, I was told that installing a lift outside the dealership could potentially affect warranty coverage, so we were trying to stay loyal to Camelback Toyota despite the higher price. Things became worse after I told the salesperson that I wanted to speak directly with Ryan again to better understand why the pricing and terms had suddenly changed. Shortly after that, Mike sent me what I felt was a very rude and unprofessional text message. In the text, he accused me of not taking "small steps" while claiming he was "going miles" for me. He repeatedly brought up the MSRP price of the truck and implied that I couldn't afford it. To be clear, I understood we were negotiating. The truck was listed around $55,000, and I was trying to get closer to $49,000. Ryan had previously mentioned he could potentially do around $52,200, so we were still working through numbers. Negotiation is normal in car buying, but the way Mike handled it was disrespectful and unnecessary. My wife had already left a review a few weeks ago because she also felt Mike was rude during an earlier interaction. We were actually ready to walk away at that point, but we decided to give the dealership another chance because of our previous positive experiences there and because we wanted to continue doing business with them. Unfortunately, this second experience only made things worse. What's most frustrating is the inconsistency between managers. One manager tells us one thing, while another changes the pricing and conditions completely. On top of that, I've tried asking to speak with the general manager so I can show the text messages, discuss the pricing discrepancies, and explain our concerns directly, but no one has provided me with contact information or helped escalate the issue. At the end of the day, buying a truck is a major purchase for our family. We simply wanted transparency, professionalism, and fair treatment. Instead, we were met with aggressive behavior, conflicting information, and disrespectful comments. Camelback Toyota has a large inventory and plenty of opportunities to earn loyal customers, which is why it's disappointing to see behavior like this from management. I truly hope the general manager sees this review, addresses the situation, and takes steps to improve how customers are treated moving forward.

I have never written a review before, but this dealership absolutely deserves one…read more I dropped off my 2023 Mustang on Thursday for a warranty issue. It is now Tuesday, and they have not even looked at the car. Not diagnosed. Not tested. Not touched. I called four times between Saturday and Tuesday. Every single time I was told "someone is looking at it and will call you right back." They never called back. Not once. That's not a mistake that's a pattern of lying to customers. On Monday, I physically went into the dealership because phone calls were clearly useless. I was told they would replace the EVAP purge valve and run an EVAP test. As of today, the car still hasn't moved. Zero work done. Meanwhile, I've spent more money on a rental car in six days than it would have cost to take this vehicle to a competent independent shop and fix the problem outright. The only difference? I made the mistake of trusting a Ford warranty. They are happy to sell you a warranty for $3k, $5k, or $10k, but once your car is in their possession, there is zero urgency, zero communication, and zero accountability. It genuinely feels like they think that because the repair is under warranty, your time doesn't matter. For anyone reading this: you can cancel your Ford warranty at any time and get your money back. I will be canceling mine immediately. This level of service is pathetic, and the way customers are treated is unacceptable. Avoid this service department unless you enjoy being ignored, lied to, and paying out of pocket for rentals while your car sits untouched.

Trade-in value was fair, and everything upfront felt smooth. The finance department was a different story. William Hall was friendly, but the process lacked transparency. I wasn't shown a clear breakdown of numbers and felt pressured into a ~$5,900 warranty. Despite having an 800+ credit score, I was given a 72-month loan at 7.67% APR, which didn't add up. Also noticed paint imperfections on the "new" vehicle--disappointing. They did compensate with free accessories so I appreciated that. Service department has been great, though. Advice: focus on out-the-door price, not monthly payments, and question every add-on. I canceled the warranty, got one elsewhere for much less, and refinanced at a significantly lower rate within the following month. If you want to keep your commission and sales.. honesty and transparency go a long way. That's how you earn repeat customers and long-term trust.

I was ready to buy and already had a deal in hand from another dealership: 2026 WRX Limited at $650/month, no add-ons, GAP included, and a strong trade-in offer. Bri reached out and told me they could beat it, even quoting $637/month. Ray (manager) followed up and assured me they would put together a better deal if I came in. That's what got me through the door. Once I arrived, the entire tone changed. My trade-in value suddenly dropped, GAP pricing was inflated, and no clear numbers were presented upfront. I even switched to a lower-priced WRX Premium expecting better numbers--but somehow ended up being quoted $675/month on a cheaper car than the Limited I already had lined up elsewhere. At that point, it was clear the initial promises were just to get me in. I don't mind negotiating, but I do expect consistency and transparency. This felt like a complete bait-and-switch. I'll be purchasing a WRX elsewhere--and honestly, I'll probably take my service business somewhere else too. Update: I ended up purchasing my WRX from Peoria Subaru. It was a bit of a drive, but absolutely worth it. The deal was seamless, fair, and fast--no games. I secured a Limited WRX for $39,730.30 OTD Price, and the overall experience was significantly more professional. They also offer a 2-tire replacement program as long as you service your vehicle with them. If you're serious about buying, I'd recommend skipping Camelback Subaru and taking the drive to Peoria instead.
