Great customer service and really helpful and friendly staff. Derrel was really helpful and moved the car purchase process along quickly with no issues. None of usual high pressure sales tactics you see from many car dealerships in the valley. He made sure I got the car I wanted a really beautiful Mercedes Benz E350. I highly recommend this car dealership if you're looking for nice used cars and low pressure environment. read more

I don't do BS, and I mean what I say. When someone doesn't share my values, I walk away. Morgan and Scott at the 101 were a breath of fresh air. This was easily the best used car buying experience. You really can't trust most people or dealers when buying a vehicle, but these guys are straightforward and honest. Other dealers and private parties will doctor their photos or act like a beat down car is "expected for its age". I will be a returning customer as long as Scott (the owner) and Morgan are there. Do yourself a favor and skip online shopping, private parties and other dealers. Go to the 101 and you'll know you've won. read more

Most if not all of the one star reviews note purchasing a vehicle with mechanical issues, my review is not much different however I did ask about a car fax and was shown a car fax. Upon purchasing a car fax today on my own, there are multiple accidents, owners and the truck was sitting on that lot for over 10 months. The salesman said it "just came in" and they had done a whole transmission replacement and all this other maintenance and none of that is noted on the car fax. This is especially upsetting because we had been burned before and we specifically asked about car accidents and were told no! And shown a car fax on the office's computer screen... only to find out multiple accidents. We paid for the truck with cash and today we are selling it and for about 8k less than what we bought it for, because it's truly a piece of junk. I would not buy anything here, don't look here, don't call them, nothing. Stay far away. read more

Wow, cannot say enough good things about Scott, the owner and the gentleman who helped me purchase my car. Scott is a no BS, straight shooter kind of guy and won't pull any kind of dealer trickery on you. He is communicative and willing to go the extra mile (he even offered to deliver me the car). Not only do I absolutely love my car and couldn't find as good of a quality one (or deal really) anywhere else, but I also got a check engine light within the first week of ownership, and Scott took care of it for me entirely for free. If you give 101 Auto Outlet a chance, there is no chance you will regret it. Thanks again Scott, love my MR2! read more

Beware - they sold me a diesel Ford 6.7 engine that needed a new fuel system within 1000 miles. Had a new fuel filter when purchased so looked ok. High pressure fuel pump went bad and destroyed the fuel system. Over $15000 to repair and I only had the truck 2 months. Definitely would NOT buy here. one star is the lowest it would accept I would give zero stars. read more

Let me start by saying many people think these small dealerships like the 101 auto Outlet are never a good place to do business in the second largest purchase you can make next to your house nothing could be father from the truth at least with the 101auto outlet. These guys were professional Direct and honest with all the dealings.I went to see a particular car but decided against it and as I was leaving the showroom this little red beauty a Red Range Rover Evoque caught my eye. I asked Mr Bob the sales person/manager/owner how much and I'd come back the next day since they were closing. Let me tell you I am so happy right now that I went there. Bob Scott and Brian, all owner/Operators are all great individuals Their professionalism straightforwardness, and willingness to help me with my purchase was just over the top. People like my son say dad don't buy a car from these small dealership that .They're all lemons. Nothing is further from the truth. These guys go above and beyond what it takes to make sure your car is 100% ready for the road they have some serious Highline cars that a Poor Middle class person like me could only dream of owning well here I am with a luxury SUV that is turning heads everywhere I go. So before you head on out to that corporate dealership for your dream car go on down to Scottsdale and look these guys up and the cool very cool cars they sell a crazy low prices. Great service and respect for your time and money. You won't be sorry. Thank you guys for being you . read more

First part out of the way, Scott. Very easy to work with, pleasant throughout this whole ordeal. I don't discourage doing business with him. However, Kyle, the most stereotypical used car dealer I have ever interacted with. I purchase a used Tacoma, pretty hard to break one of them, they however found a leaking one and decided after a quick glance and spray down of the engine bay they were going to sell. Had the major oil leak develop, or show itself after the wipe down 6days after purchase. Tried a couple different ways to work with them. Their only solution was to take it back to the people who originally did the polish and send out the door job. They said "their warranty" would only allow them to send it back to the original people who gave it the approval for sale. Even though that "warranty" is AZ used car lemon law parameters 500miles of 15days. So here I am less than 2 weeks after buying the car spending 4,000$ on repairs to get it done correctly by an independent shop experienced with Toyotas. Kyle thinks I should've paid half of that with a tech who charges 100$ an hour (good luck finding a tech to do a major job correctly at that rate) the same techs who put a broken power steering pump into the truck and said there was no oil leak. Either way highly disappointed and if you do decide to buy, double, triple check with multiple shops. Apparently my 3 opinions from different shops all with the same answer were wrong and only his "cheap" techs are correct. Sorry Scott I really appreciate the help you tried but Kyle is not worth dealing with at all. I will provide pics with the oil that they were too lazy to wipe away hidden under the skid plate. Stay away. read more

Really great experience buying from Echo here! I went in seeking a used car and came back the next day to drive it after doing some research. If you're a parent & your 'child' is looking to buy his/her first car on their own- ABSOLUTELY take them here. I have one super power. It's not being a mom, knowing day to day stuff, not a great cook, BUT I DO know people. I can tell immediately if a person is trustworthy. That's the only reason I went with my son yesterday. I suck at negotiating. My husband sent me with our son simply because I'd have known right away if he was being rail roaded. I knew instantly, after meeting the owner, that my son was in good/honest hands. I HATE buying cars. Was totally dreading the experience, mostly because I didn't want to have to fight with my son (he REALLY wanted the car) to get him to leave the dealership if I didn't like the sales person. I took some Advil with a shot of ?? (I won't say here) & took the leap. I wish EVERY car buying experience could be as easy, & even kinda fun, as my son's was. Great deal - great car - great first time experience for my son. The owner (I never did get his name) & I made my son sweat a little just because we could, but WHAT AN AWESOME PLACE read more

101 Auto Outlet - Bumblebee's baby (think Transformers) - Used Car Dealers Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

I had been looking for a car for a while, but I either could not find what I wanted or it wasn't fair price, plus dealing with a car salesman, or woman, is never fun. I found 101 Auto Outlet on Autotrader.com. On a whim I called, and asked if the Subaru WRX was still available. When I arrived I was greeted by Scott, and he put me in the car, and sent me for a test drive. When I came back Scott and I easily worked out a deal, and I left a very happy customer. That night the Check Engine light came on. I called Scott, and he sent me to a mechanic. The mechanic, found a small vacuum leak, and they had it fixed in a matter of hours. Scott gave me a car to drive while I waited, and he paid for the repairs. It's been about a week now, the car runs great, and I am grateful I purchased from 101 Auto Outlet. Scott, and the people there are honest and friendly. I would recommend them to everyone. A+++. Also, they sent me a handwritten thank you note with a $5 Starbucks gift card. It was unexpected, and really made me feel like a valued customer. Thanks guys! :) read more

I just had an amazing experience. I called up and spoke with Echo, and within 10 minutes we agreed on the price for a car I saw on Autotrader. After arriving and taking it for a test drive, he had all the paperwork ready for me, so I just had to sign and I was given the keys. The entire process, starting with the phone call, including the test drive, and paperwork, took 30 minutes. No pressure. No long hours negotiating. No time spent being beat up in the "finance office." Friendly, laid-back, guys looking to make an honest dollar. I asked him who the parent company of 101 Auto Outlet was, and he laughed and pointed to a guy outside. "He's the owner." I love supporting small, local companies who are looking to do the right thing. Plus, while their cars are sold "as-is" with no warranty, they do include a 15-day warranty for any major mechanical problems. So, that really put my mind at ease. If the car is going to make it a week with no problems, it should make it for a long time. read more

I have bought 4 cars from Scott at 101 and have recommended multiple friends and family to him. He's honest to a fault. I've known him and his family for years and I know that he doesn't treat me special. He just treats me like everyone else that walks in and that's like family. I love these guys and will always go to them for my cars which I have to say will probably be many more because I kind of have a problem! I love cars and Scott always has such a tempting selection! I know if he doesn't have it on the lot, he'll find it. Thanks guys for helping me change cars like shoes! read more

I love to write reviews when it's clear what rating I should give. Ive been researching cars to purchase online for 10 days. I have bought from both dealers and private parties throughout my life, so pretty comfortable with the process. Unfortunately when I searched online for "for sale by owner" vehicles, I ended up meeting with dealers in disguise. I wasted a ton of time in the last week on this, very frustrating. I just moved to Arizona so don't know any dealers I could trust. After the bad experiences with fake "private sellers" I did some research online and decided to try out 101 Auto Outlet. I confess I'm a bit at a loss for words on how to describe the experience. I kept thinking "this is too easy": We found a particular low-priced car we were interested in, but were open to others. When we arrived, Scott listened to our explanation of what we were looking for then walked us around and showed us cars below, within, and above our price range. I wanted to focus on the car I had originally found online, so Scott gave us the keys to test drive, and when we returned he had a printout ready of all the things his mechanic had found may need to be fixed on it. Wait, what?.... I was prepared to 'negotiate' that I need my personal mechanic to inspect it, but not only did he say "of course, no problem" he's literally handing me a report of all the things the mechanic would do to the car. With some minor paperwork (copy my license, sign an agreement that I won't blow the car up etc.), Scott let me take the car home to have my mechanic check it out... I was pretty pleased that my mechanic's report pretty closely matched what Scott showed me in his office the day before. I'm kinda embarrassed to admit: Scott's mechanic's report actually had more stuff on it than mine's did. Overall, this experience has been fantastic. I was able to negotiate a fair price via email (which KBB has on the low end of their value spectrum -- their business posts via CarFax so we could see the title history and all the car specs!). I literally kept thinking "this is too easy" throughout the whole process. Yes I signed the paperwork agreeing to have my pic on their website and normally I don't do that, but they earned it. Hands down an awesome car buying experience. I'm really happy with the car, and agree with the other reviewers: next time I need to buy a car I'm calling Scott first! read more

BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER If you are like me, you hate dealing with used car or new car salespeople. We stopped in to check out some used cars and we were greeted by Echo who works there. This is not your average sales lot, it is in an industrial complex. Don't let that worry you, it was a great experience. After talking with Echo for a few minutes and he figured out what we were looking for, my wife and I were out for our first test drive. Echo did not come with us and told us to take our time on the drive. We were probably gone for 30 minutes. We did the same thing with the next car. We ended up purchasing a car and the process was SUPER EASY. read more

Had a really good experience with Scott at 101 Auto Outlet. We bought a Ford Taurus Wagon from him several weeks ago and could not have been happier! We found the vehicle with an online search and found Scott to be friendly and accommodating. We took the vehicle for a test drive then he let us have it for a day so our mechanic could give it a look. There was never any pressure to buy and he answered all our questions quickly and, from all appearances, honestly. He was up front about any issues with the car and we couldn't be happier with the experience. read more

101 Auto Outlet is phenomenal. If you are looking for a solid business to purchase a vehicle from, I highly advise you look into 101 auto outlet. My dad and I found my favorite Ford Mustang model here, it was a dream come true after searching for so long. The process took less than an hour to purchase the car and we were able to take it home that same morning. However, a few days later, the entire engine overheated and unfortunately, it had to be replaced in its entirety. As a college student, I was not in a financially stable position to purchase an entire engine on my brand new car. 101 Auto Outlet offered to help, not only with half, but with the entire cost to replace the engine. I cannot give enough positive feedback to this business, they went above and beyond to help. Go purchase a car from them right now, you will not regret it. read more

I bought my Kia from here 7 years ago, and I still remember the experience. I found their inventory online, and called ahead to look at one vehicle, bringing my dad along, preparing for a fight with the sales people. It never came. I forget who was at the desk, but when I told him what car I was looking for, he tossed me the keys and said to take it for a ride, and bring it back if I liked it. That was it. Needless to say, after a test drive and an inspection from my dad, we brought it back, and were done with paperwork in probably 15 minutes. NO hassle, incredibly laid back, best experience I've ever had. If I'm ever in the market for another vehicle, this place will get my first phone call. read more

0% hassle, 100% easy! That's how my experience went when I bought my car from Echo. He didn't BS me, try to add hidden fees and gave me the discounted price my bank promised...no questioned asked. I purchased an 05 Subaru WRX. Scott was a real honest guy, did everything to make sure I can get the car. After a few days of having it, I had realized the power steering was going out, I had a talk with Scott and he shot me straight to his mechanic, John. I was glad to find out I'd be getting it taken care of, but I was skeptical whether he was experienced. Sure enough I met the mechanic and right away he agreed my power steering was out. He told me he'd take care of it right away, within 2 days I had my car back driving 2x as better.
