We had a fabulous experience at AutoWits. We drove a car across the country and after arriving we had an issue with the AC. AutoWits got us in immediately. They communicated what they were going to do and updated us on the process and pricing. They sent us pictures of the issue and they answered all our questions. I highly recommend! read more

Not sure about the other reviews for autowits but....my experience was completely different. I brought my gladiator in to change the original oil cooler out for an all metal. Upon picking it up, the check engine light was on. I then embarked on an extended RV trip towing the jeep and once it had approx 100 miles on it I started smelling a pungent odor. The. Shortly thereafter, my check engine light came on while in Napa. I took it to the jeep dealer and they found that the part used was not an oem part. It leaked oil all over my entire vehicle causing a 3 day delay in my trip. Autowits said there was a warranty but it only covered the part and labor. Their shoddy workmanship was discovered by the dealer as a missing clamp, a pinched and cut hose, another hose connected by the wrong clamp and a missing bracket. I produced pictures of the poor workmanship and spoke to Sonny and he denied responsibility saying the pictures showed him nothing. This shoddy workmanship has caused a 3 day delay waiting on parts and almost $2000 out of pocket in addition to their "warranty was willing to pay. When I asked why and for them to pay the difference, he hung up on me. GOOD LUCK AND CHECK THE PARTS THEY USE AS THEY ARE SUBSTANDARD. read more

Thank you, Alex and team, for the great work that you did on my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (Willys). Replacing my driveshaft was a time-sensitive request and you completed it quickly, professionally, and at half the cost quoted to me by the dealership. I was very satisfied with the way this project went, and I've already referred a few friends and coworkers. The great reports that I've heard from them keep me even more satisfied with the work that you did. read more

I've been bringing my 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins diesel to Autowits for a while now, and they've been consistently solid. This is a work truck, so reliability matters to me. They've handled routine diesel maintenance like oil changes and fuel filters, as well as more involved repairs like brake hose work and diagnostics. What I appreciate most is that they explain what they're seeing and why something needs attention instead of just pushing repairs. Communication is clear, turnaround is reasonable, and I trust the recommendations. If you have a diesel truck and want a shop that knows what they're doing without the dealership nonsense, this place is worth it. read more

After much searching around to get my strut installed Frank called me. The first thing that springs to mind about Frank is that he's a very nice gentleman, plus he was easy to work with. Obviously I didn't have a huge issue with my vehicle but I'd recommend Autovits as I think they have a good reputation and have repeat business which gives you confidence to move forward with them. Therefore I'd definitely recommend them for your vehicle needs. read more

I've come here 3 times now and they have never let me down! My first visit I needed to get some work done on my car which needed a new main wiring harness and some other work. They were super friendly and communicative during the 2.5 weeks it was at the shop and always updated me on the status of my car and what they were doing on it. My car has been running great ever since and hasn't had any issues since. I've been back to get suspension/brake work done and oil changes and their customer service and work is just great every time! read more

We have just purchased our second car from Frank at AutoWits. Both purchases were enjoyable, and we couldn't be happier dealing with AutoWits. Love these guys! Been working on mine and my family's car for years. Super helpful and always get the job done right and at a fair price.

This is a late review. First off, Joey was great. This places typically sell luxury cars and suvs for a discounted price, but I ended up with a Hyundai paying absolutely bonkers for it. Joey was responsive via emails, and we pretty much got the entire process down to just test driving and signing in matter of minutes. I ended up getting the 2015 Hyundai Sonata. As a college kid, I didn't want to he bombarded with crazy fees and high price tags, but AutoWits definitely helped me with that! Thanks Joey and thank you AutoWits read more

I had been shopping for the perfect Audi Q5 TDI for months. Because this particular diesel model had been discontinued in 2016 and had only been made for 3 years they are hard to find. Especially a low mileage excellent condition one like I was looking for. I dealt with one flaky salesman after another at various national dealerships like Autonation. The "excellent" condition car they were selling turned out to have a badly worn interior, scratched exterior or bad car fax. Of course I would find this out right before putting down the required $1000 non refundable deposit and flying 1/2 way across the USA to pick it up. The car I bought from AutoWits was exactly as represented. Salesman Joey was great to work with. The car drove like a charm on the 320 mile ride home to Las Vegas. Would definitely buy from them again. The only negative is that their included 7 day 1000 mile warranty is only good for repairs done at their dealership. If you are driving or flying in from somewhere far away like me that does you no good so you are buying solely based on their representations that the car is in good working conditions. In my case that trust was not misplaced. read more

Our experience was top notch, no pressure, helpful from beginning to end. Frank answered out questions, made suggestions and accommodated our special needs 110% through the entire process. Sold us a car they got from an auction that had $14,000 worth of damage. Had to have a completely new engine out in it because the amount of metal shavings, the guard was destroyed, and it was obvious they made minimal repairs to hide it. The damage would've been covered by the warranty if they provided us with the proper records. IF you do buy from them, take it to a separate shop before purchasing it to ensure you don't end up in the same situation. Will NEVER buy here again.. read more

i want to start off by saying as a young woman who has been scammed from car repairs in the past i am very cautious to research my mechanic and repairs "needed". I had taken my car originally to Sun Devil Auto, down the street for a simple oil change and a/c repair which ended up being $1400 with other repairs "needed". With getting my car back with more complications than before I had to make an appointment to get it looked at again. They came back to tell me it would be an additional $1200 for new repairs. Since I had just spent so much the week prior I took my car down to Autowitts. They were able to take a look and repair right away. Very transparent with the estimate and I'm getting the same exact repair for $580. Very very pleased with my experience. They have a customer for life! If you want a mechanic that is honest, fair, and won't take advantage of you go here!! So glad i've found them. read more

Let me start off with that fact that I am a 40 year old man who has never purchased a used car in my entire life! So when I started my car search and my overall research process I was skeptical that I would find my dream car as well as worried that I was going to have to deal with the "stereotypical used car sales man". My buddy Noel has experience with buying used cars and suggested I reach out to his guys Frank & Joey at Autowits in Scottsdale. I kind of brushed him off as I was still doing my research on what would be my next vehicle. After a few weeks I had a list of several cars that I wanted to test drive to possibly purchase and I noticed that several of the cars I was interested in were at Autowits. So the first stop I made was to Autowits where I was greeted by Frank and instantly I had a good feeling. Autowits is pretty much a 2 man operation with a service shop as well. In a matter of several minutes Frank gave me the keys to the cars I wanted to check out, his dealer plate and said see you later! The no pressure service was truly a breath of fresh air. After test driving the cars I spoke to Frank about numbers. As mentioned earlier I performed my own research prior to any test drive and I already knew the car was priced very well and Frank pretty much confirmed the no hassle or haggle approach. This didn't stop me from trying to haggle a little (even though I knew I already liked the price) but just as I had done my research so had Frank who truly had the vehicle priced at a fair value. I asked Frank what the out the door cost on the car was and unlike many other dealerships there were practically no additional fees! The car was the sticker plus tax and registration. Again this was very refreshing as its showed honesty and integrity and I was ready to make my purchase that day but wanted to perform my due diligence and see what else was out there. Frank was very understanding, gave me his card and said to call him with anything and thanked me for coming in. Usually at a car lot the salesman never lets you leave and so again this was refreshing with the no pressure approach and pretty much letting the car sell itself. My next stop was to Bill Luke Santan to see a nearly identical vehicle. Once we arrived the environment was very different. It was loud, frantic, and more of what I was used to in a car lot. After a minute or 2 someone came to help me out and after about 10 minutes we were on the road with the salesman in the backseat starting on his pitch. So while the salesman is going on he asks if I've looked at any other cars and he starts getting a little more aggressive and the whole time I'm just thinking back to the experience at Autowits as well as the car I test drove. After explaining I still needed to perform due diligence the sales man still continued to push which again I am more used to but pretty much was ready to move on. As we get back to the lot the salesman attempts one last time to win my business but at this point I'm kind of over this experience. I had one last car to look at on my list and this vehicle was located at Drive Time in Mesa. Pulling into this lot I already had a feeling something was off. As I walk into the office I am greeted by a sales rep and I ask if he can assist me with the test drive. He says yes but then disappears and never returns. About 15 minutes later another sales man asks if we need help which I reply possibly as I have no clue where the first rep is. After telling him what car I wanted to look at he attempts to inquire about auto financing which I explain I had pre-approval in hand. This must not have been the answer he was looking for and then went back behind the desk. After about another 10 minutes the 2nd rep says he's just going to bring the car around as he also does not know where the first rep has gone to. Finally he pulls the car up and says I can't test drive it but I can look at it as we are still waiting for the 1st rep to come back from wherever he was. After standing outside for another 20 minutes and no one coming out to assist I simply walked back inside and said thanks for letting me look at the car and left. As I was leaving I saw salesman 1 sitting there talking to salesman 2 as if I was not waiting outside next to a vehicle I was possibly going to purchase. After this last experience I realized I should have gone with my gut and worked with Frank at Autowits. Not only was he the most professional but he also had the best car and the best price. Hands down best car buying experience I have ever had in my entire life! Do yourself a favor if you are looking for a vehicle and give Frank a call at Autowits, and I bet you will be leaving a similar review. read more

So, disappointed to report that we had a different experience when I referred my wife for purchase of a 2013 Grand Cherokee Overland in February 2021. Within 60 days it had spent a total of 22 days and 3 different trips in the shop for repairs along with a safety recall that was outstanding. Total cost of repairs were $14,000, thank goodness we purchased an extended warranty from the Credit Union. After the first set of repairs, we reached out to them and they said they would have helped out if we didn't have the warranty. However, their inspection should have found and corrected some of these issues as there was substantial evidence of leaking in the steering gear, bushings, and the front air suspension lines - identified by the Jeep dealership and the credit union warranty company inspector - within the first 2 weeks of ownership. After the 3 repairs, the vehicle has had the front end suspension system completely overhauled. We sent AutoWits an email to notify them, and provided copies of the repair invoices. We asked for a response, and none came after two weeks of waiting and a follow up call. We understand small business and we are sympathetic to their challenges, but we feel like customers of Autowits should be on notice that they may not be inspecting and preparing their vehicles for sale. Fortunately, First Credit Union's warranty company - Assurant - took care of us. Kudos to the Credit Union, Assurant, and Bill Luke Camelback Service Department. read more

Top Notch! That's how I will describe this dealership and the staff that works here. Frank and Joey are simply great! No fuss, no muss, no hassle. It is what it is and that's exactly how it should be when buying a car. I came on Sunday to look at a car and Frank let us take it for a test drive. When we got back to the dealership he didn't push to "talk numbers" he didn't trap us inside and hold us hostage, he was so respectful that I wanted to take the night to sleep on it. I called him the next AM and discussed a concern with the car, and he took care of it immediately. I came back Monday night to drive the car once again, and decided I wanted to purchase it. Thats when Joey got involved. I ended up financing the car through the dealerships financial institution they use. From start to finish it was flawless and easy! Needless to say, the car is now in my garage. I love it and I'm very pleased. I will 100% purchase from here again. Thanks Frank and Joey! Happy New Year. read more

Brought my beloved FJ Cruiser in here with something leaking from it -- turns out it was the radiator. What a drag! But the owner was great and tried to fit us in immediately. I ended up just coming back the next day because I wasn't in a huge hurry -- but it was nice to know that he would have bent over backwards to get us taken care of. We replaced the radiator with an aftermarket that has a lifetime warranty. The truck is like new. I felt like we got great service and a fair deal. We will definitely come back when other work needs to take place. read more

Great car buying experience & ended up with a great deal on a car that two other dealerships agreed was an amazing deal (Lexus of Chandler & Finday). Best of all, no pressure at all. The salesman we dealt with was Joey, who not only was extremely responsive to emails, he also gave us his personal cell phone number. Even after we bought the car, he was very supportive with some concerns we had (all resolved) and made sure we were happy with the car we purchased. I would highly recommend doing business here if you are looking for a car. We ended up buying a car for the lowest price I could find in the NATION for the make and model we were looking for. read more

Came in today to look at a 2015 328i and had a great experience. If you read my previous review, you would know that I had a very horrible experience at the last dealership I visited. I came into Autowits and was instantly welcomed by Frank. I said I was here for the Bimmer and he gave me the keys to let me test drive it BY MYSELF!!!!! I had financing through Navy Federal so the numbers part was taken care of. Joey and Frank were very helpful and extremely nice throughout the process. The dealership is nice and small and it has a very comfortable feeling about it. Joey and Frank didn't hassle me, they weren't aggressive and they were fair on what they gave me for my trade. There was a chip in the paint and on the bumper. Frank said no worries bring it to me in the morning and I will have it fixed for you before the holidays roll around. I also requested that my windows be tinted too...done. I just would really like to say thank you Autowits for giving me an enjoyable car buying experience. I love my car , its beautiful. Taking my car (2007 Honda Civic) in for routine and unexpected service is always a hassle. Since Autowits is close to my house in South Scottsdale and I had heard good reviews, I decided to try it out when my Civic needed a routine oil change and some unexpected A/C service. I called on a Friday when I noticed some issues with my A/C cutting in and out. Despite the short notice, Billy, the Service Manager, was able to get me in early the following Monday. I was greeted at my car and escorted to the waiting area where Frank (one of the owners) offered to make me coffee and I settled in to read my book (since I figured I'd be there awhile). Minutes later, I met the technician doing the work on my car. He explained everything clearly (and I am a girl with little to no car knowledge, so that was much appreciated) and assured me this would be a one-time fix. I was in and out in about an hour and my A/C is running better than ever (thankfully, since summer is fast approaching). Overall, my Autowits experience was great and I would highly recommend anyone in the market for a new car or just in need of service to check them out. The price was better than my typical dealer or lube shop spots and the service was honest and fast. I will definitely be a return customer! read more
