After years of bouncing between different mechanics and oil change shops, I found Lightning Lube a few years ago, and I'll never take my car anywhere else. This is hands-down my favorite mechanic and oil service shop in the Valley. Being locally owned and operated is just the beginning. Every single person who works here is top notch. They're honest, efficient, incredibly knowledgeable, and they never try to upsell you or take advantage of you. They tell you exactly what your car needs, nothing more, nothing less and they get the job done quickly without sacrificing quality. I've recommended Lightning Lube to just about everyone I know on the East Side because they've earned my trust time and time again. If I could give them 100 out of 10 stars, I absolutely would. They truly are the read more

Okay lightning lube I see you. Stellar service (went above and beyond just an oil change to find and to change nasty filters, super kind, great prices), great office space (decorated for halloween! smells great, water fountain, calming music, cold water), convenient location for east valley/near the highway (I10/101). Thank you lightning lube!! read more

Always so quick and efficient. I drive 20 minutes just to get my oil changed here since I know they'll do it right and be efficient.

I dread getting my oil changed. I know it's going to be a long and expensive process. Lighting Lube has changed my perspective on it. They did my oil change in literally 22 minutes. I'm so impressed. I will definitely be returning! read more

Lightning Lube - Front desk - Auto Repair Near Me - Scottsdale, Arizona

Never have I ever been in and out so quickly for an oil change! The office was clean and inviting. The staff was busy but polite and got in to help me asap. My oil change was a fair price and definitely less than I had been paying at the dealership! My hatch is broken on my Subaru. They offered to change it for WAY less than the dealership if I bring in the parts. Overall, this was a great experience and I will be back! read more

Great service in a timely fashion. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about car and take any questions I may have. I like to get my oil changed there on Saturdays and they have me in and out quickly too. read more

Awesome service. Got me right in and out in no time. Very friendly and knowledgeable technician as well.

I needed just a quick oil change for my daughter's minivan and found Lightning Lube on Yelp. I came here on a Sunday right when they opened up and was greeting by the technician (Mike?). The young lady, Diamond, was very helpful at the counter. Gave a few recommendations but didn't try to upsell me on anything like the other places do. A good experience for a first-time visit. I'll be coming back for future maintenance. read more

Locally owned and operated, after a terrible experience at two separate jiffy lubes in the same day I found this gem. Family owned, super professional got my truck oil changed with no hassle and were just genuinely great people. Diamon and Mike took great care of me highly recommend them! read more

Lightning Lube is the spot to go for me. I bring all my cars here and the staff is super friendly and always is available for any questions that I may have. I have even brought in my vehicle when the oil light came on and they refilled it without cost as long as I was within the interval. I will continue to come through here as long as possible! read more

It was ok but pricey for the materials they had on hand . Not sure if I would want to go back.

Lightning Lube is by far the best place for oil changes, maintenance and other auto services in south Scottsdale. Family owned and operated. We've been going there for years. They get the job right the first time. Every time. Fair prices and fast as heck. .Great customer service and friendly staff. Shoutout to Mike and the bay crew for two great experiences with two of our cars this week! read more

Quick and fast service! Waited about 20 minutes for an oil change and was super happy! If you're looking to support local businesses go here for your car needs! read more

Great service with none of the extra nonsense. Professional and personable. Support local hard working people! Highly recommend.

I am a repeat customer for oil change - high mileage service. Customer service is great, competitive prices (if you check-in using Yelp app, you'll receive $10 discount on qualifying full service). No wait for me this time, oil changes are usually quick (20 minutes). Come check them out. read more

I really appreciate this place . As a woman I always am skeptical that I'm getting a good price / deal with any type of vehicle maintenance, I've always felt they're extremely fair with my oil change pricing . Also the workers are very informative and kind whenever I've come in . They don't push me to get any kind of extra work , although they inform me of things I could get done and have recommended great places if they don't provide that vehicle service . I'll always come here for an oil change 10/10 across the board . read more

Have been going here for a few a years now, great service, employees super friendly and professional.

Quick. Got straight to business even though it was 118 outside. I'm super grateful they allowed me to walk-in during my roadtrip.

I needed an oil change fast, and I read the reviews and this place seemed the best over other ones. It smells good inside and there's a bathroom, and the woman at the counter was incredibly nice and knowledgeable! There's also a $10 coupon for checking in on Yelp. 10/10 coming back again. read more

Phenomenal service . Quick in and out , oil change for my raptor . Great energy great people really appreciated it.

Horrible Service! I received an oil change for my car 5/24. was later told that my head gasket was broken due to negligence when changing from previous oil change 6/24. This was explained to me by two mechanics! I stopped by the business to explain what I had been told and was advise the owner would call me. He gave me a call and refuse to take any responsibility. Ironically he offered to the other mechanics who advised this as "mom and pop places " as if he was anything more. He yelled and was very aggressive. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! It definitely was a huge inconvenience but the way the husband and wife spoke to myself and partner was uncalled for and completely unacceptable, unprofessional! read more

Bring cash! I walked in on a Saturday. Great service. Found a coupon for me. Really fast service. Very friendly.

Amazing service, amazing honest owners, and fun people! Would never go anywhere else! Love my convos with the owner- she is great!

Needed an oil change was done quickly good synthetic and friendly. They do quality work

So nice and informative. Let me know step-by-step what was going on. Gave me a quote up front and kept their word.

Not sure of what I feel the rating is. I usually stick with who I'm comfortable with, but as it happened, I couldn't get in with my regular guy. I'm going out of town and don't want to worry about my car when I get back. So. I call around, and these guys seem pretty friendly on the phone. The quote $70 for synthetic oil change. COOL. I show up and see the Valvoline sign and ask if that's what they use. Dennis says yes. And tells me the price is ....$80. I say ok, as long as I get it at the $10 yelp checkin discount. Which wld be $70. He says that's right, and again..I'm cool with that. I'm trying to save money. I'll be doggone if I didn't just walk out feeling bamboozled into paying $86.69!! Valvoline is a $15 upcharge! Their price for THAT oil change is $89.99! So all in all, I only saved $4. Nice guys, but I don't think I'll be back. ************UPDATE *********UPDATE************* Dennis called me immediately and wanted to make this situation right. Unfortunately I couldn't respond as I was at work, then afterwards had to immediately catch a flight. Fast forward to a week and a half later...I finally was able to respond, called Dennis, and he reassured me that it was a mistake and wanted to not only correct the situation, but also make sure I was pleased with the outcome. TOP NOTCH response!!! I went in today, Dennis greeted me by name and made me want to come back, due to his professional handling of this issue. I must say, he went above and beyond expectations, which says a lot about the business!! I will return! Check them out when u need an oil change or a brake job!!!! read more

best experience ever. in and out in 20 mins, didnt try to upsell me on anything i didnt need. highly recommend this place

Service has always been great with my previous visits, especially mechanically. Very quick, efficient service.....until this visit. The front desk lady acted as if she either hated her job or hated that I had interrupted her day. Either way, it was a very uncomfortable and extremely unfriendly interaction. Had my car not been in the bay already, I would have left immediately. Techs were great, customer service was terrible. read more

I found this place by accident while driving on Scottsdale road. I stopped by this small place which have the manager greets you upon entry with a smile. Very friendly staff and welcoming, he recommended the full synthetic for my car and had it ready in 20 minutes. I was really impressed because most oil change stores require a reservation and it take them forever to do oil change. This place was on point and i would highly recommend it to everyone. I would let the employees here deliver my future unborn children. Fast, reliable and fair pricing (for oil changes and birthing services).

For those that think "it's only an oil change" ... your wrong, and you have not been to Lightening Lube. Yes, we all need an oil change a few times a year, but what we often get is rude people, and sub par service. Not here. The staff - every single person - is extremely nice. Never pushy. Very knowledgeable. Additionally service is quick! I have never been there longer than 30 minutes - most of the time less than 20. Do yourself a favor and visit this location. You'll never turn back. read more
