I am a single mother of a college student at ASU and I live out of state so it was important to me to find a reliable mechanic to assist my daughter with her car needs. When I first met the staff at We Fix it I felt they were reliable until they ripped me off and charged me $550 for an A/C hose that lasted about 2 weeks when my daughters A/c quit working again she took it back in and they told me it would be another $2500 for a whole new A/c system. My daughters father who is a mechanic in California called and spoke to the advisor and determined I was indeed ripped off ! Took my 2010 Chevy traverse here to have the A/C compressor replaced because it was making a loud noise when turned on. Paid $1500 to have the compressor replaced. And when they told me it was ready for pick up. I went to pick up and turned the car on and A/C. It was blowing hot still and made the same loud noise. Told them and they kept the car till the following Monday 6/23. They called me on 6/23 to tell me that the Radiator Fan was the issue now. And said it would be another $1500 to fix. I declined, picked up my car and have been without AC since. Update: Saved up some money and took it to another shop to have fan replaced. They told me the fan was good and that the issue was still the Compressor. My family and I were with out AC in our car for a month. This place is great. Had to get some work done a couple times the latest time was in a pinch. Alex did something you never see in this industry, or any other for that matter. He didn't charge. Of course it wasn't a difficult job, just had a piece hanging that needed to be removed. Replacement wasn't pertinent for now, just needed to get something done before the weekend. So after examining everything to assure there wasn't any damage I didn't notice he removed the part and didn't make up some "necessary" repair to upsell. Then to not charge for anything was amazing. I came here a few weeks ago for an oil change after receiving a few coupons in the mail. Great price, it only took an hour, and they were very friendly. I had made an appointment and they were really busy and still got my car done in about an hour. The oil change coupon I had included an inspection of the car and they told me everything looks great so I felt very confident in the job they did when I left. I brought back my truck so they could fix the issue that I currently had when they claimed it was fixed and now it's actually leaking 10 times more in two different areas than it was before. This was supposed to be a make it right situation, but instead they sat on my car and said that they were so busy but as soon as they needed the rental/ loaner car for another customer, they half fixed my truck which is now causing more issues. Cheap part in my ac and didn't fix it. And don't start with the inappropriate texts from one of their employee. This was my experience, The team and facility sound and look very professional. Initially I came in to the team offering a diagnostic with no charge since I've already had it diagnosed at the dealership stating my issue is the ABS module specifically. (To which We Fix It has a copy) 1 - I was recommended by We Fix It to replace my rotors and break pads first to which I was told that would most likely will fix my issue. Their asking price was around $720 which I left and fixed it elsewhere only paying $322 and saving $398... 2 - This had not resolved my ABS issue like they said, which brought me back to We Fix It. I had spoken to We Fix It and told him what had happened and also asked to resolve the issue with 2 belts that were worn out. I had later received a text stating that the issue is indeed the ABS system (although the dealership has already stated that prior to seeing We Fix It) and asked for a price of $5200. I offered to bring the parts to which they still asked $1,400 in labor...I declined. 3 - Assuming that I would get an estimate like the ABS parts, that I would also get an estimate on the belts...I did not. The team had already installed 2 new belts (OE Continental) which I was asked to pay about $284 (roughly $60 more or less per belt). Although I see that the same belt is about $20 at AutoZone. 4 - I had disagreed with We Fix It over the phone as to why they could ask to confirm if I wanted the ABS parts changed but not ask if I wanted to change the belts at that price. I was told that I can put the old ones back on but that I would still have to pay a fee for their labor (which I had not given them confirmation to change in the first place) estimating around $150 more or less. I was told that I would have to wait until the next day in the evening to pick my car up. We came to an agreement that I would pay $185 and take the car with the new belts the same day, out of fear of leaving my car at We Fix It due to the frustration and comments through our conversation. - Ironically, as I was paying at the register an old man walks up asking to pick up his car that needed an oil change. They told him that it would be around $500... He replied "$500? What did you do paint my car!?". Neither of the 2 mechanics at the register had an answer nor a response... Conclusion - We Fix It offered to do a free diagnosis but I was getting side comments for that when I declined to pay their absurd prices! I was told it could be one issue which they would charge me an absurd amount only to that not being the issue and that it could be something else for an absurd amount! I went ahead and fixed my ABS issue elsewhere (like the dealership had already said) for roughly $520 saving $4,680! Although they looked and seemed very professional initially, I left feeling that I was being taken advantage of and played. Thank you for your time. read more

The four & five star reviews must be friends & family because this place is ROBBING people with their prices. Sure the oil change was $50 but then they wanted to replace both control arms on our vehicle for the tune of....$2100!! Umm....I've paid that much for a rebuilt transmission!!! I immediately called my mechanic that we used when we lived in Southern California (which is one of the most expensive areas to get your car fixed) & he said the dealership would be cheaper than these guys!!! With factory parts my mechanic quotes me $1150; not factory parts a couple hundred bucks less. very disappointing. these types of mechanics are what give other mechanics a bad name.
