I needed my tire serviced on a Sunday at 5:39pm which on their card says they close at 6pm on Sundays that's 20 minutes to still assist they claimed they were closed and close at 5pm but everywhere I looked it says that they are open until 6pm this was literally a waste of time. Got 4 New tires, once they were replaced and I left the shop I felt something wrong with the way car felt driving, I immediately called them to make sure they did everything correctly. Next day car felt even worse when driving so I took it to a close by mechanical shop, in which they told me the lug nuts were loose and had one broken, the right front rim had to be replaced as they stripped it. I called the tire shop and told them what had happened and that I couldn't drive car as it was not safe and they neglected to properly fix the problem and the guy was acting in a very defensive matter as I explained to him what they had broken and needed to replace. If your car is worth less than $3-4k, there is no reason to put $600-700 worth of new tires on it. With that said, find a good used tire shop that is trustworthy, which is what Bob's is. For $80 I got two tires for my SUV and the owner Genaro took me back into the tire corral and let me choose the two I wanted. After driving it for 2 days I noticed it was pulling a little, and went back and this time let Genaro do his magic and he put on a different set = problem solved. This is where the trustworthy-ness really showed, didn't expect that type of service but Genaro knew what it would take to make a customer for life, and will be going back when I need to replace my rear tires. One note, a little bit of a language barrier, but if you have a problem with that you should probably should go pay $600 for tires and vote for Sheriff Joe. read more

This tire shop has been around since the '60s in Tempe. I have had many positive experiences here hence 2 stars and not one. My most recent visit left me disappointed. The tech that helped me is Guillermo. The shop balanced all 4 wheels/tires on my Outback. The shaking on the freeway was intolerable so I brought the vehicle right back to have the tires rebalanced. Guillermo was rude, condescending and refused to even look at the tires unless I pay him more money. I took the vehicle to a reputable tire shop, Firestone. All 4 wheels/tires were out of balance by up to 4 oz! The work was done right the second time at Firestone (and for less money) and the vibrations were gone. What I learned from this wasteful experience is that Bob's Tire Corral doesn't have a calibrated balancer and is not honest about the services they provide. read more

SO satisfied! I drove in slow and when I got out of my car one of the employees could already tell which tire it was. I was there for a total of 10 minutes if that. They found the tire, checked for air leaks by dunking it in water. Check the air pressure in my other tires and I was on my way! I had used their website days earlier and was emailed in a very short amount of time with the price quote. It was the exact same amount when I payed which was surprising. Very impressed. They had all types and the prices were good. A tire and labor on my 2006 kia was $30. Great if you're in a pinch like I was or if the care just is not worth putting new wheels on. read more

Unfortunately, when he did some work on my tires, he didn't balance them (in fact, he told me it wasn't necessary) and I had to come back the next day which wasted a considerable amount of my time. The fellas working today were great and I got a great price on used tires in stock. Here's the deal, though. The tires were probably 90% tred and I got four for the price of two new ones at a major tire company. These were BF Goodrich off-road tires, Too! Very happy and I recommend Bob's for any tire needs. Great Value. My tires are old and almost worn out. One steel belt broke, so I went here to buy a used tire just to get me by for awhile (I don't drive my truck often, and thinking of selling it). I got a 31x10.5x15 truck tire for $40 (balanced and installed). The tire had a fair amount of tread on it. Great Service. The worker dipped the inflated tire in water to check for leaks, and did a great job balancing. Another worker checked the pressure of my other 3 tires. Cons: 1) They charge $2 for using a credit card. I guess they get a lot of cash buyers and don't want to pass credit-card fees on to them. It seems fair. 2) It's primarily spanish-speaking workers. A couple of the guys spoke English (plus the cashier lady in the small booth). The two doing the work didn't. I liked them. Very diligent and fair. read more

Went there with two alloy wheels and two tires. I needed the tires mounted and balanced. The tech quoted me $30 and I said ok. He quickly took the two tires to the machine. When he came back for the wheels the price changed to $40 because I needed 'stems'. Charging me $10 extra for two valve stems that cost around 25 cents each. Total time was less than 15 minutes. I was taken to the booth to pay. I gave the lady my credit card and she said $42. I paid cash to save the $2 credit card fee. The handwritten receipt said '1 used tire $40'. I couldn't argue as she spoke no English. You always feel ripped off when you go to this place but it's one of the few places that will mount tires you don't buy from them. read more

Save yourself the time and money and go to discount tires. After naively buying used tires from here my car shook all over the place on the freeway. I ended up going back and buying brand new tires and my car still doesn't drive as smooth as it did before. That's what I always loved about my car is that it was a solid smooth ride and now I don't feel safe on the freeway. To top it all off, one of the guys broke my hubcap and didn't tell me so it fell off at some point when I was driving. When I confronted him about it he said "I forgot to tell you...it was broken when I took it off and was lose when I put it back on". Total lie. Go to a reputable place where the techs know what they are doing. read more
