Dynamic Imports just gained a new client! I took my BMW X5 to them as I was hearing a rattling on the back hatch. I assumed that the mechanism would need to be changed. Nope, simple tightening and I'm back in the road! That no BS approach just guaranteed that I'll be back for all of my BMW needs. Thank you! read more

Bela is the best. His guys will do any job big or small. All imported cars. Enjoy the feeling that your car is in good hands.

Bela kept the shop open late for me when I needed help after my battery died near his shop. Got me in and out with a new battery in no time. Stuff like that shows that this is a business that really cares about its customers. Can't thank you enough read more

I had the AC compressor in my daughter's 2011 Volvo xc60 replaced in Roanoke, VA, not cheap. My daughter lives in Tempe, AZ for the year and about 7 weeks after the repair, after she is back in Tempe the unit failed. I asked my mechanic about my options and he said look up a Technet mechanic (it's a network of auto shops that collaborate for warranties) and see what they say. I found Dynamic Imports LLC close to the apartment and spoke to some nice folks, Bela was one of them. Lo and behold he replaced the entire unit (and noticed a worn belt to fix) completely under warranty, parts AND labor. I have never been so surprised with an auto repair in my life. Bela and the team were so nice it was a bit odd (in a good way) for an auto shop. My daughter was amazed too. Repair was done in three days after showing up without an appt. Great place!! read more

Bela, shop owner, is has evolved into our family car maintenance provider & friend. What's amazing is he never asks for reviews & naturally has a 5 star rating w/ over 50+ reviews - that's how business is DONE. read more

Repair and service are top shelf. Bella and his team of repairman aim to please the customer. It was my first visit but very quickly Bella and his team had me feeling comfortable. They ask questions, and they focused on me knowing the repair needed. And they clearly explained the cost of the repair. Now I would have thought it was a "show" put on for me and my first visit. But soon one, then two customers walked in and they interacted with Bella and his team exactly as I had done earlier. Point is, Bella was not putting on a show. Thanks Bella read more

Tired of dealerships overpriced quotes and luckily found these guys! They are honest, fair pricing, and do what they can to save you money or help you avoid unnecessary work. We bring our Mercedes here and will continue to do so. They always get us in and take good care of us! They will do the same for you!! Thanks for keeping our car running and in tip top shape! read more

I can not say enough good things about this place. Bela is the sweetest guy, you can tell he is just a genuine good person. Prices are significantly less than any other place I've found. Took my car to get the AC fixed and both times had my bar back the same day (without an appointment). They are AWESOME read more

Highly recommend this business. Took my son's Corolla for a transmission fluid change today and our entire experience was great. Efficient, courteous, and the cost of service is very reasonable. read more

I drive up from Tucson to go to Dynamic Imports. That's over 100 miles because Bella is that great. He's been working on my Mercedes for the last year. I just got so sick of being taken advantage of at the dealerships. The days of the honest neighborhood mechanic are back in Tempe! Bella is fair, honest, and competent. read more

Gem of a mechanic! I had a fantastic experience with this shop! First, as a woman on my own, I didn't get any BS from them. The owner Bela referred me to a great tow company, got me in right away, and had me on my way that afternoon. He is kind and genuine - this shop is a GEM! The service and professionalism were top notch. I never second guessed whether I was being taken for a ride, as Bela was referred by a friend and his honesty and the time he took with me to ensure I was sqaured away were unparalleled for a mechanic. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great shop for their car! read more

Bella his wife and their team at Dynamic are the best. Easy to deal with, honest, yep I said it about a car repair shop. Incredibly knowledgeable and always do the right thing. I have 4 cars and they range from Lexus to Nissan and even a classic convertible, all serviced by Dynamic for years. I have referred many people over to this business and every time I get great comments back about the knowledgeable staff and the great prices. It's great to recommend them when you know they can follow through. Thank you ! read more

Just moved to the valley from San Diego where I had a great shop I'd always visit when my BMW decided it needed to bleed my wallet. Came here today and Bela had originally told me it would be about 2 hours to get an alignment done but it was done in less than 1. Great service and nice staff. read more

Dynamic Imports - Auto Repair Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

Very fake and phony attitudes From the staff. They sound very robotic almost not even human and have a nasty attitude when your asking questions almost like they don't want to be bothered. Well I will take my money else where. Also they quoted me on many things I need done to my car and I went to another shop who said they are lying. Go figure, trust your intuition and pay attention to the energy that people give off because energy never lies! I can see the evil past the fake smiles it's atrocious read more

Dynamic Imports is great. I needed a rear brake job on my BMW and the dealer quoted me $565. (Why must they try to rip me off?!) My husband called around to a bunch of other places and Dynamic Imports gave us the best price, over $200 less than the dealer and $100 under the next lowest quote. We also needed an oil change and they insisted on using Royal Purple motor oil which my husband had never heard of. "Trust me, it's the best." Ok. . .Since they stock all the parts they needed for the job, they told us it wouldn't take more than a few hours and I scheduled to bring it in in the morning and pick it up in the afternoon. Another bonus was that they are about 2 miles from ASU's campus so it would have been easy to drop it off and walk to campus for classes. When I dropped it off, the manager offered to give me a ride to campus which was sweet. My husband had written down all of the things that we needed to get so I could make sure we were getting it done right, and they went over it all with me to confirm. When I returned to pick the car up, we again went over the bill line by line to make sure I understood what they had done and what we were being charged for. All of it was exactly as quoted - no extra fees and no trying to convince us we needed more work done. They had even checked the drive belt and tension pully and said that it was a little loose and may need to be fixed in the future, but since the engine was purring like a kitten and not squealing like a pig we were fine for a while. The icing on the cake - the Royal Purple oil, as I was told, is such a good synthetic oil that we could double or even triple the miles we go before getting an oil change (up to 15k miles in between oil changes, but they recommended not going more than 6-8k). Sweet, with all the driving I do in the valley, the fewer oil changes I need the better. Hooray for finding a good, quick, trustworthy mechanic. read more

I've been taking my baby here for years and 100% recommend Bela and his entire crew. I've been around cars and mechanics my entire life and know that when you find a good one you can trust, you stick with it. This is how I feel about Dynamic Imports. They know a Lexus inside and out and I use them for all my repairs. Expect to pay about 1/2 of what a dealer quotes you. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty every time I have dealt with them and I always leave feeling like I received a good deal and was treated honestly and fairly. On top of all that, Bella and his Dad are super nice guys. They are friendly and greet me by first name always, makes you feel right at home. I look forward to many more years of doing business with these guys and I encourage you to try them also. I really can't say enough good things about Dynamic Imports, real class acts. read more

Oh my god! I have found it! The pinnacle of auto repair shops!! But seriously, Bela (Jr. and Sr.) their family and mechanic staff are easily the BEST in Arizona and arguably the Southwest. Priuses to Porsches, they do them all. I have taken my BMWs I've owned over the years and most recently my commuting Prius for the last 100,000 Miles and Bela always greets me with a welcome "Whats up Danny!" followed by great service by his staff and mechanics. His team has done engine swaps, alignments, brake jobs and numerous other things (granted all were mostly on the BMWs as the Prius barely needs anything - sorry!) Most importantly he is considerate and HONEST about what needs to be done immediately and what can wait. My mother was the first to find him and I was graciously surprised when I learned he treated all of his customers with respect and honestly, a hard thing to come by in this industry. Bella and his team at Dynamic Imports will always be the best when it comes to car service at very reasonable prices and stellar customer service. I'll probably never go anywhere else. read more

This was going to get 4 stars because of the wait, but the owner, Bela, loves VWs and has a bunch of VW magazines in the waiting area, so that bumped them back up to 5. The wait was pretty long, considering I had called ahead to try and make sure it'd be the least busy time of day. It sounded like they might've had someone call to say they needed their car at the last second. Nevertheless, Bela took matters into his own hands and did the oil change himself to help speed things along. The shop itself is easy to find, but the driveways on either side of the buildings are for the garages ONLY - go to the center driveway with the small "McClintock Center" sign. I made this mistake, got to drive around the U, and make my way back to the center parking area for customers. It's clearly a family owned business, they're down to earth, super friendly, no shenanigans. I almost wish I needed more done to my car, because I've definitely found where I'll be coming back. If you need major work done, or routine work, PLEASE do yourself a favor and come here. Particularly students! They're not overpriced, are honest, and are willing to run students to school for class so they don't have to wait at the shop. read more

Earlier this week, I was a few hundred miles past one of my major services when we found out we needed to come back home to Arizona on short notice for a family emergency. Stressed out about putting another thousand miles on the car without an oil change, I called up Bela here at Dynamic Imports. My mom only trusts these guys for her vehicles... they are honest, quick, and have a bazillion certifications in AWESOME. I tell Bela, "I'm Justin K, my mom is one of your customers..." and he says, "Yeah, R.K.! Didn't you being your car in a few years ago for a weird vibration in the wheel?" "Yeah, it ended up being a clump of mud!" TWO YEARS I had not been to this shop. I had moved out of state and for TWO YEARS I've been hunting for a shop this good in San Diego, to no avail. One phone call and Bela not only remembers that I was a customer, but the exact problem I brought the car in for! That is customer service. And this morning, despite a tech not showing up and the phone ringing off the hook when I dropped my car off, they are still going to be able to squeeze me in for my 60k service and have the car ready by lunch. If I could only find a shop this good in SoCal, I wouldn't have to drive all the way from San Diego to get my oil changed. read more

"What's that noise?" It was a horrendous grinding noise, and mum's worst nightmare was coming to fruition. We're originally from Los Angeles, CA, and visit my little brother in Tempe since he attends ASU (go Sun Devils!). Naturally, we enjoy the scenic route so normally we drive over to AZ. Long drive + not near our family-trusted mechanic + scary grinding noises = my family running around like chickens with our heads cut off. Dynamic Imports helped us out in a pinch. Turns out the plate covering the under-carriage of mum's Lexus was sticking out and grinding against the road and making a frightening noise whenever she drove. So mum, being the research-savvy woman she is (I got those good genes!) decided to take her vehicle into Dynamic Imports to get it checked out. Upon further inspection, Dynamic decided to remove the troublesome plate... and did so within 20 minutes. For free. Yes, you have read correctly, we were not charged for the initial inspection, labor, and other euphemisms you can use to charge people up the yin-yang. They knew we were from out of town, were most likely not going to be repeat customers, and still they treated us like a regular. I think that's awesome, and Dynamic, that's why you get five stars. read more

Bela is the man. All these 5 star reviews speak for themselves. Needed to get my A/C system charged up (after I replaced the compressor). I droppped the car off after hours, and they got right to work on it the next day. Turns out I screwed up one detail of the compressor install. They called me right away to ask what I'd like to do about it (instead of doing a bunch of stuff I wouldn't be expecting to pay for). Got it fixed up, works great, paid over the phone, and picked the car up after hours again. Thanks! read more

I was looking at buying a used Lexus LS400 and was looking for a place that specialized in Lexus to do a pre-purchase inspection on the car. Dynamic Imports won my business INSTANTLY when I talked to Bela on the phone and he told me that there was no charge for the next few cars to be inspected if I decided not to buy the first car after paying to have him inspect it. This is a HUGE value to someone looking to buy a used car and I wish I had known this sooner! They definitely know their Lexus cars, that's for sure. And not only did Bela bring the seller and I along with him for a road test, but he questioned the seller about the car just like he was wanting to buy it for himself. He was extremely thorough from start to finish on this inspection and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dynamic Imports is awesome, which is a result of Bela also being awesome. If I ever need any work done on my new LS400, I'll be going back to Dynamic Imports without hesitation! read more

Bela and his family were absolutely outstanding. There is something to be said for an honest, local, family business. I asked Bela one simple question: "how is your pricing compared with the other Import specialists in town?". He didn't hesitate, or blow smoke; "we're not the least expensive and we're definitely not the most expensive". Again, Bela didn't flinch when I asked him this simple, point blank question and his confidence in answering my question spoke volumes about the service his business offers. I'm very grateful to have had the opportunity in meeting Bela and his family and very grateful for them in servicing my vehicle. Regards, Matt Johnson. read more

Best shop in AZ So, I've had multiple great experiences with this shop and the owner Bela who is extremely friendly and remembers his customers, but I'm only going to use my latest experience with them cause it shows just how great they are. My car's battery, which is located under the engine, started leaking battery acid which was destroying the cables. I first took the car to Earnhardt GMC Buick's Service shop because it's a GM car and I figured they'd be the better choice in this situation since they specialize in my somewhat unique car. They charged me $150 diagnostics fee, and then said the repair would cost $900 at the least, and take four days long just to fix the cables. I don't have that kind of money to throw around and I also had a spoiler I wanted to attach to the car, so I paid the diagnostics fee and decided to go see Bela at Dynamic Imports. Knowing Bela's shop from previous experiences, I guessed it'd cost me maybe 500 for the cables alone, and then another 180 for the spoiler. I was wrong. Bela charged me only $382 dollars for new cables, the spoiler, and a new battery installed, and he and his team did it all within two hours!!! For something a GM Earnhardt certified shop wanted to charge me over 1000 dollars for, Bela only charged me 382 and added free extras! Like I said above best shop in AZ. read more

After finding Dynamic on Yelp, I brought in a Lexus for a $95 "used car inspection." The shop owner, Bela, was sincere and seemed like an honest and enthusiastic businessman. Dynamic has a neat special offer, where the first used car inspection costs $95, but then any additional used car inspections are free. So if the deal falls through on the first used vehicle you bring in, you can always bring in another prospective buy without pinching your wallet. After a thorough and efficient inspection by Dynamic, I purchased the vehicle today with confidence. I plan to return as a customer for all my Lexus maintenance & repair needs. read more

Took my car to have the check engine light diagnosed, oil changed and a problem with my driver window not sitting properly... Bela had the check engine light taken off (probably just removed the battery for a minute) and said it was fine, might be an o2 sensor even though I brought up that my car was leaking fuel ... regardless if thats all he wanted to do, Ill go somewhere else to check it out ... not done yet .... Talked me into getting a new timing belt ... the ultimate test .... came back the next day, said he fixed the window and the timing belt was in (crossed fingers) Met Bela outside since I had to show 15 minutes after close, tested the window and did the exact same thing, but worse, there were two screws on my driver floor board (from the inner parts of the door) and one in the door handle just sitting there. Said for me to bring it back and he would put it back together for me when they are open. .... Not done yet ... Starting driving home, within 10 minutes my car overheated and left me one the side of the road with an EMPTY ... no joke - Empty! Radiator .. had to walk to the store to buy anti-freeze.... check engine light came back on... took the car to the dealer instead to avoid having any person at dynamic touch my car again and they said that the timing belt was installed improperly and was a few teeth off, the window was not corrected because they changed the wrong part and the check engine light was a seal gone bad on the top of my fuel tank.... Bela stated, and i quote, " my mechanic admitted that he did not test drive your car after he changed the timing belt. " hmmm i thought that was required.... Worst experience ever, I wont tell you not to go there, maybe I was unlucky or he didnt like me but I cant even stand to drive past this place everyday and look at it.... your call read more

Most people go to mechanics near their home or work. I go out of my way to take my 4Runner to Bela. I originally found Dynamic Imports on Car Talk's Mechanix Files and, tired of being either ripped off or talked down to, I tried this shop. What a difference to be welcomed, then introduced not only to every employee there, but also every customer waiting in the lobby! I only go to Dynamic Imports now, and it's because I feel truly appreciated and respected as a customer. read more
