I bought a Ford Transit Van from Fantasy. They gave me the car fax that showed that it had never been in an accident. It overheated yesterday as I was leaving on my cross country adventure. I took it to the FORD dealership where it turns out the frame was bent from a head on collision and it was pressed against the radiator. It pressed on the radiator until it created a hole in it. When I went to the owner he said, "EVERYONE KNOWS THESE VANS HAVE BEEN IN ACCIDENTS". I said so you knew? And, he said nothing. Just stared at me. It will cost approximately $5000 dollars to fix it. Had my first "dealership" purchase with Mark at Fantasy Auto about 6 months ago, after visiting at least a half a dozen dealerships looking for the right vehicle and having overall pushy, pressured, and stress-provoking experiences I came to Fantasy to check out this Mercedes and the experience was so much more friendly, upfront, and consistent that I won't go anywhere else without checking with them first. No hidden fees, no change of price once you get inside. And the purchase process was so easy and simple we were in and out quick and Mark even stayed after closing to make sure everything was taken care of (he even had a family event that evening he was showing up late for). Highly recommend giving these guys a shot! After about 1-2 weeks the seat stopped moving backward - called Mark and he had me drop the car off and he had someone take care of it within ~24hrs and since it's been flawless. Honestly, this was the absolute BEST car buying experience I've ever had in my life. All of their cars are very well-taken care of and at excellent prices. Even better is their customer service. I never once felt any pressure to buy anything from them and I was free to look around the lot at my own leisure. How I was able to purchase my dream car. I've told several people from my work about fantasy and I've even had a few purchase. I would buy from here again. Believe it or not, I came one morning for a specific car; I was greeted almost immediately and within 15 minutes I was test driving the car so I went home to get the check and came back the next day before work and drove off to the rest of my day with time to stop and get coffee before my shift. My very first car and I was so happy I cried happy tears all the way to work lol Mark is really great and genuine and quite frankly I wouldn't mind paying more solely for the outstanding customer service but good news is they're actually the best deal in town so win win. **update** Since I've had this c250 for about 7-8 months I have had normal servicing done and with Mercedes services you know they come with inspections and out of the several times I've gone, there hasn't been any underlying problems whatsoever. I have to start this by saying I despise car dealerships so bad, i would pay an extra $5K to not have to go into one, but Fantasy Auto and their team might have change my mind but only for their dealership! I didn't have to waste my whole day playing games for the price. I called ahead of time, asked them for their bottom line and without thinking he gave it to me. I went online and filled out their financing app and went in the very next day. Later on talking to the lender, he let me know they sold it to me for a couple hundred dollars below wholesale value, which I know would've taken my first born at any other dealership around Phoenix. When I went in he had the keys ready for me to take for a test drive. When I got back all the documents were printed out and ready to go and the contract was exactly what we had talked about over the phone to the T. They hooked me up with a great lender, a 7% lower interest rate, and $2000 less on my loan, than the 2010 Town Car, I almost signed on the day before, only Fantasy got me one a 2011 (a year newer), with the same miles, and at the end saved never $6k!!!! I'm a chick who doesn't know jack about cars and they could've totally taken me for a ride but didn't. They're a family owned dealership that has won my business for life. I was in and out in about an hour. I felt like I was hanging out with a friend and not being drug around by a frat boy like, used car salesman like most places have. Don't get a Lemon. Once we drove the 2009 Subaru Forrester (regrettably) off the Fantasy Auto lot we had issues with the car. We took the car back to the used car dealer, and they said they fixed it. And yes, they still made us pay for the tow back for servicing. After the initial repair attempt we had a multitude of break downs all related to the original defects or condition of the car, that finally led to its mechanical failure (the car now is a total loss). We went to Fantasy auto looking for a dependable first car that my daughter could own. What we got was considerable financial and personal hardship.Throughout the entire ordeal, when we reached out to Fantasy Auto for help, it was always, trust us, the work was done properly, and we identified or resolved the problem. The last straw of evidence that Fantasy Auto genuinely didn't care about our circumstances whatsoever occurred after the car suddenly malfunctioned during interstate traveling. We reached out to Fantasy Auto, to lend assistance to our situation, we were laughed at, and the response was " its a hunk of metal, its a used car, you should expect this" Let my daughters and my experience with Fantasy Auto be a lesson to the reader. DO NOT BUY. I purchased what i thought to be a beautiful 07 Yukon Denali from fantasy auto. I was told the vehicle had a 120 point inspection done and everything was in working order. 3 days after purchasing the vehicle the check engine light came on. I informed Mark of the issue and was instructed to bring it back in for his mechanic to look at. When i picked the vehicle up later that day the check engine light was off and i assumed they fixed the problem. . approximately 50 miles later the light came back on. I then took the vehicle to my own mechanic only to find out the vehicle needed over $5000 worth of work done to it. The suspension is completely trashed. The wheels are barely staying on. The gas guage does not work. There is a leak from the rear main seal. Needs struts, air shocks, a new axle, the list goes on. I informed Mark of the issues and gave them an opportunity to fix everything and Mark refused stating " The list was too extensive for my mechanic to fix" so im assuming thats why none of the issues were fixed during the supposed 120 point inspection. Also the interior had been sprayed with spray vinyl that is now peeling off to reveal the busted up old interior. I asked Mark for the invoices of all the work that has been done by his mechanic and initially he said yes however he is now refusing that. Save your money. I am in the process of sending in all my documentation to the attorney general to file a formal complaint. read more

I've been in the market for a new vehicle since I sold my truck a few weeks ago and wanted to get myself back in to a fun sporty car like my M3 I had a few years back. I had my mind torn between an Audi S5 and a BMW 335i but of course I needed it to be manual transmission. Lone behold Fantasy Auto Sales had the S5 I was searching for and it was in my Budget($20000-25000) with not to bad miles. I packed up my cash($15000) from my truck sale and made my way across the Valley to take a test drive. So the loner vehicle that I have been driving isn't a very nice flashy expensive car. In fact my moms old 2002 Chevy Suburban is anything but. However it is her spare car and its something to drive with A/C until I find that perfect car for myself, Riding the Harley in this heat is brutal right now. Anyways, I'm a 30 year old Hispanic male driving an old suburban into a "high end" car lot. I know what this may look like and what they may be thinking, but they are professionals and should treat people as equals. I am a young professional here looking to purchase a car, I'm not here to waste your or my time. As soon as I parked the big red monster on the lot it seemed as if they were ignoring me on purpose. I made my way to my future ride and opened it's doors, made myself comfy and checked under the hood, making it VERY obvious I was interested. I even made eye contact with an older guy on the lot but he made no effort to ask questions so I assume hes just another customer. Finally! I was approached by a lot attendant, who I assumed was in sales and I asked to take it for a test drive. He said we need to get a sales guy. Awesome, I am ok with that. Finally a sales guy comes out and its the older "gentleman" that i made eye contact with a little bit ago, I ask him now... I want to take the S5 for a test drive. He proceeds to give me the 3rd degree: How am I going to pay? Mostly Cash, Hows your credit? Very Very Good, (upper 700, possibly low 800s at this point) Have you ever purchased a car before? I get a new vehicle about every 2 years. Ok now I have purchased many cars from dealers and I wanted to get the best deal possible. I tell the sales guy I came in to look at an Audi A5. And I understand the S5 is a bit of an upgrade but might be "too much car for me" but it is in my budget. Thinking hey the price will come down because its "not" the car I'm interested in (*wink wink nudge nudge) but in actuality it is very much the car I want. I drove about 45+ minutes to drive the car and make sure there were no weird rattles or silly things. I finally ask again, can I take the car for a test drive. He said since I came looking for an A5 not the S5 that he wont let me test drive it because I may get in an accident or I may blow an engine and that's company policy. That is what insurance is for, accidents happen. I have personally never been in an accident and I didn't plan on that happening today. Also, if you're paranoid that a 5-10 minute test-drive may blow one of your engines, then I'd be hard pressed to purchase any vehicle on your lot because even your sales staff thinks its unreliable. But I digress, apparently, you "can't" drive a car you are interested in!? At that point its quite obvious they are an extremely judgmental car sales company. Had I been driving one of my old cars, TX Baja Edition Toyota Tacoma, my Cadillac CTS, or my old M3 I probably wouldn't have had any problems whatsoever. I'm officially done, I pull out my envelope full of $$$ and tell him. I came here to buy a car and the way I've been treated is disrespectful. I felt profiled almost from the beginning, I think they thought I couldn't afford the car but in fact this may have been one of the least expensive cars I would have purchased over the years, outside of my first high school car or some of my projects like my current 1967 C10 pickup which is a never-ending money pit lol. Needless to say old man rivers had my adrenaline pumping. As I turn my back he asks if I still want to take a test drive? I respond with a H*** NO. That isn't the only car like that out there. And until I find the next one, I'm perfectly happy driving this old Suburban. My money is going to a quality company with morals. read more

We test drove the car and liked it but with my previous experience I wanted to do a pre-purchase inspection.
