You're welcome. There are a lot of moving parts when making a car purchase. Will you deal with pushy salespeople? Will you *really* get a good price? Will the trade in be a hassle? Will the finance department mess you over? All of these are things we dread about car shopping. Which is where Another Time has offered a refreshing difference each time we've been there. As parents, and consumers with plenty of car purchases under our belts (for better or worse), we had worries about our young adult's first independent car purchases. And TWICE now, Another Time has exceeded our expectations. First, a few years ago, with the purchase of an older Camry. A great deal, friendly but NOT pushy sales support, and straightforward pricing with no hidden charges at the contract signing. As for the car itself, we had eyes wide open on what to reasonably expect from a 14 year old used car for $3,000, and so should you. No matter what you buy, from ANYONE, it will need something. So we had no surprises. Second, and most noteworthy was our experience today. Our son was financing a car for the first time on his own. We have been looking all over town in what has proven to be a very difficult car market. We had been on this lot previously and not found anything he liked. Last night the car he has been dreaming of was posted at a very fair price. Knowing how quickly cars move on this lot, we were there today at 8 a.m. Our son checked the Carfax, test drove and decided it was all systems go on the purchase. We then moved on to the trade in, where we negotiated a fair offer given the condition of the car. Everything was moving quickly, next we were headed to finance (this is the part where things often go south). He had taken our advice of being preapproved by a neutral 3rd party bank before shopping at the dealerships. We shared the preapproved rate with Robert in finance, and he started the process of seeing how he could beat it. Here's the thing. When someone both ENJOYS and is GOOD at what they do, it's evident in how hard they work to help, and how genuine they are in the transaction. Robert pulled off what we thought NO ONE could. He dropped that rate, for a young first time car buyer, from 11% to 6.49%! His excitement for my son was genuine and he truly made the transaction as easy as possible with his patience and knowledge. Everything was transparent, there were no hidden surprises. Polar opposite of what we've experienced at the big box dealerships. My son drove home today in an AWESOME Toyota at what seems to be a great deal all the way around. We are confident he won't be upside down in his loan, and will have a car that lasts several years. The check engine light came on the same day I brought it home, and the vehicle was shaking. I was able to bring it back, and I was told the issue had been fixed. Unfortunately, as soon as my 30-day warranty was up, the check engine light came back on, and from there it was one problem after another. I have spent over $5,000 trying to repair this Jeep, and every time one issue was fixed, another problem seemed to appear. At this point, multiple mechanics have told me the same thing: get rid of this vehicle ASAP. I haven't even owned it for a year, and I've already had to purchase another vehicle because I could no longer rely on this one. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I purchased this Jeep while I was 8 months pregnant. I specifically told the dealership that I needed a reliable SUV, and they sold me a vehicle that turned out to be anything but reliable. I understand that used vehicles can have issues, but having major problems almost immediately after purchase, continuing to spend thousands of dollars on repairs, and still not having a dependable vehicle is completely unacceptable. I feel like I was sold a lemon, a vehicle that should never have been sold to someone looking for a reliable family SUV. I trusted the dealership to be honest about what I was purchasing, and unfortunately, that trust was misplaced. Absolutely heartbreaking and incredibly frustrating. When checking credit report and payment history, I noticed my balance only went down by $107 on a $342 payment. Called the lender to figure out wtf. The remaining $235 went to interest!?!?!? Because the down payment did not go to the lender. The dealership kept it and for a warranty package that doesn't even include what they promised It did. The list price for the vehicle I purchased was $16,111. I put down $4500. As of getting off the phone with the lender now she said the total price will be $28,775 to them. Add the down payment and that is $33,275. I am paying over 100% again the list price. TOTAL scam. We made very clear to Mr. Philippe that we are a low-income family. I couldn't possibly feel more screwed over. They know you can't spend hours at the dealership or calling a lawyer to read everything. They are the epitome of every stereotype you hear about car lots and salesmen. They knew we were desperate.

As a female buyer of a large van/bus that is to be used for commercial purposes, I was nervous about being talked down to or "mansplained." Allen did neither. He was professional and showed interest in not just the sale, but about me/my business as well. I wish more men in this industry would realize that their heavy, overbearing presence, "advice" and pushiness is a huge turn-off to women. I was very grateful for Allen's respect and fair prices. This means that they are cheaper but they could be considered a lemon and it may be hard to sell or have some issues that come down the road. Of course, there could be nothing wrong with it as some states have very lenient return laws so that the buyback could be for the smallest thing. I ended up looking at Hyundai Ioniq 5 N (yes the fast version) before stopping here for 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance. Let me just say, this is by far THE BEST experience. I was able to walk in (no appointment needed) and Christian M was able to help me right away. A quick ID scan and he came back just gave me the keys I'm like what?!? I'm not used to this level of customer service. He gave me quick directions for the test drive route and I was able to follow it step by step by myself. I say the only negative about this place is the lot, they have many vehicles and parking/spaces are limited. As for the vehicle, it was nice and I would jump on it if it wasn't a buyback (branded title) Now I already knew this vehicle is branded before stopping by. I wanted to see if I can find out more on the reason why it was a buyback other than charging issue. Sadly the paperwork didn't provide the additional info. Should you get a buyback? That really depends. The price is GREAT no doubt and if you plan on KEEPING the vehicle long term (as the resale value is a lot lower, do a quick check via CarMax or Carvana), don't mind dealing with potential electricial issues (but they should be cover under warranty) But knowing myself I usually don't keep vehicles longer than a few years. Also I would double check your insurance and make sure it doesn't cost extra. And at the time I haven't driven the Kia EV6 GT (the original vehicle I was looking at) so I ended up passing on this. Also wanted to point out they have the lowest Doc fee that I've ran into ($299) here vs other dealers wanted $699. No add-ons, title fee is $19. Very low sales pressure, extremely friendly staff, I would stop by again in the future when I'm looking for another vehicle.

Regretfully, I took my car there for tranny work, as Russ said they had a tranny wizard. They fix my tranny and damaged my radiator, then acted as if they didn't know anything about it. There were other bad reviews about the work there. Some people get kinda funny when they get in a new working environment. The shop gets a steady stream of Sun City and the likes so there is no need for them to offer good service 100 percent of the time. Shops screw up and good ones own up. I have never asked for a discount but I do expect not to have my car damaged.
