Bought a 1998.5 Dodge Ram 2500 from Lee Blanton. He informed me his diesel mechanic would do a diagnostic and send me the report. After a clean report and a replaced lift pump, the truck was shipped to me. When I received the truck, there were issues galore, including not being able to start it. All fluid levels were low, including the oil, power steering, and brake fluid. I took the truck to a real diesel mechanic that did a real diagnostic and informed me that the ECM and VP44 would need to be replaced, totaling around $5,000. After checking with Lee, I agreed to have the truck fixed. You might think Lee paid me for the fix to the broken vehicle he sold me, but you'd be wrong. I received a total of $2,500 from Lee (an admission of fault) and was told that it was more than generous and all that he was going to reimburse me for. After trying to get in touch with the "boss", Lee informed me that it "doesn't go any higher than him". I would avoid this dealership at all costs and be extremely careful with trusting anyone who works there. My truck ended up costing my 27% more than I had expected because of this issue. The diesel mechanic they use is either complicit in this or is totally inept. read more

I don't even know we're to begin.... I bought a gmc duramax from them put a bunch of money into it and loved the truck don't get me wrong i didn't do my research but ended up being in more accidents according to vin checks that I pulled so I contacted Lee he said come in and we will take care of you.. which he did I got another truck and I will mention that even know the new one had problems and I had to drive to phoneix from prescott valley 2 hrs each way 4 times he did handle it. Then after finding all my tires lug nuts were loose and 1500 dollars later in steering repairs come to find out there was a 2nd lien after he sold it to me from a previous owner I cant get it registered to me it's been 90 plus days and still nothing I have been in contact with my rick and lifted trucks "who sold it to myrick" Nothing but a head ache been paying on this truck though my bank thank God they havent called yet about title but omg I'm 1600 in repairs 2 car payments and cant even register it. I had to submit a complaint to attorney generals office because I'm tired of the run around as of tomorrow I cant even drive the truck until I get the 3rd temp tag. Stay FAR away from these scammers. Called to inquire about an excursion. Spoke to Lee, said he had alot of interest and would need me to put a deposit. Without a sales order signature, a deposit is refundable. But these guys claim to discuss a deposit is non refundable, but discussion was never had. I would never agree to fork over 1000 on a vehicle sight unseen to hold my spot online. I asked for proof of a service performed, (bulletproof of the motor) he said, its done trust me but i cannot verify proof. That right there was my red flag to not purchase car. Lee is a crook, and this company is as shady as it comes. I disputed, he disputed my claim, saying we verbally agreed on it. Never did that happen. Stay far far away from these guys. Oh and Lee, Im at my bank. Your proof was a word document with no signature and your word vs mine? Good luck with that. BBB has been contacted and will be escalating... dont even try to justify. No proof of bulletproofed motor, but trust you that its installed and worth 20k over blue book value without proof. No chance... A week later, and after having a 'sketchy' test drive with a dealership, I ended up back at Myrick. The experience was awesome! The truck was in excellent condition, runs great, and looks wonderful! I purchased an 05 Toyota Tacoma, nice truck no dents pretty clean. The drivers side mirror and visors were broke so dealer replaced them. After that I picked up the truck, on Oct 28th the ck engine light came on. I took it to O'Reilly to get the code came up with speed sensor in the wheels, also to it to a brake shop same code, mentioned it to Lee said he had to see for himself. 3 trips from Tucson to Phoenix, no luck. So finally on 12/4/24I take the truck back to Myricks Motor and leave it with them, I was given a loaner vehicle. My truck was there until 1/3/25, about a month, long time. I was told that the problem was the speed sensors in the wheels the same sensor i had been trying to say was the issue. Ok, so Lee proceeds to tell me they drove my truck, ok some 300 hundred miles, I am like what, said they had to, in order to make sure the light didn't come back on. So Myrick had one of their employees drive my personal vehicle a customer vehicle home, which the employee lived 50 miles away, and this was ok because they had to. No they didn't have to put over 400 miles on my personal vehicle, while allowing an employee to take my personal vehicle home and drive it around. I found Myrick Motors on the internet after my truck got totaled out 5 days before Christmas 2019 in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Wanting a rust free and issue free truck I called about a $25,000 truck he had on the internet. I made it real clear being retired I wanted a trouble free truck that looked good & ran good. I was assured that the truck was run through a diesel repair shop and everything was working, and that I would be happy with the truck. The transmission is bad, pulled onto the street and there I sat. The tires were oversized & worn, $1,100 for new tires. The heat and air did not work, the headlights were weathered & one not working so for $750 I replaced them with new ones. I had the truck shipped to me here in Wisconsin. It looks great in the driveway, but I can't drive it. I now have a $27,000 yard ornament or boat anchor that will sit where it is until I find another $5,000 for a new transmission. I sent them an email requesting some money back to help with the price of repairing the transmission, I got no call or email. Being retired money don't come easy, I'm stuck with this or I take a loss of about $12,000 I have into it in cash, and give it back to the bank I owe $15,000 to. Extremely disgusted and saddened with this company. We thought we had found a great deal and they seemed to really want to work with us. We purchased a truck from them in January. Drove over from Gold Canyon area. When we got about 5 miles from home the check engine light came on. The sunroof and rear window did not work as well. So we called them and told them what was up after speaking with our master ford mechanic who told us that we had a bad sensor that the company just cleared the code. Myrick motors took it back so that the mechanic could fix the problem. We left it there a week. When we picked it up, the manager said that he drove it home and it was running great. So, once again I drive home with it and the minute I rolled into my subdivision, the check engine light went on again!!!! We have been trying quite unsuccessfully to contact the company after finding out that once again all they did was clear the codes. It is our timing chains (Yes chains) the repair will cost us over $3000 to fix. They are crooked dealers, beware! read more

I'll start off by saying I flew to Phoenix, AZ from Los Angeles to buy this vehicle. Lee said everything on the jeep was sound mechanically and that they stand by all their cars as being in perfect working condition. When I got there we closed the deal and as I drove away (10 or so miles down the road) I stopped for gas (came with a quarter tank) and noticed coolant all over the fender and hood. I opened the hood to discover the overflow tank had no cap and shot out BROWN coolant.. I called Lee and he sent his mechanic to replace the overflow tank and radiator cap which took about an hour and a half of waiting. I asked him if he thinks this will make it to LA in that condition and he felt "Very Confident". 7 or so miles down the freeway I noticed liquid yet again pouring out of the jeep so I pulled over and this time it was pouring out underneath onto the floor and the overflow tank was full of dark brown liquid bubbling furiously inside causing the whol tank to shake around. I contacted my mechanic back home and he told me that brown liquid is called Stop Leak and by the name its self explanitory. The engine had a leak somewhere and "somebody" poured this into the radiator in hopes to stop it. This stuff is like glue and runs all through the engine and in the words of my mechainc "One of the worst things you could do to your engine". I went back to return the car and as I pulled into the lot Lee was driving right passed me on the driveway, too embarassed to even talk to me about the situation so he left me with the mechainc and the office manager who were both very nice. They offered to replace the radiator but at that point I couldn't trust that the engine didn't have further issues. The mechanic found a giant hole in the radiator that had been poorly patched and showed that most of the cores in the radiator were completely clogged (due to Stop Leak). I tried to negotiate a better deal for the 5 hours of hardship I went through with this "sound vehicle" blowing up twice on me but he would only offer me $350 off the total price of the car. When negotiating he said "well we put in a new radiator for you" and that really pissed me off because they needed to replace the radiator to begin with and he kept sticking to salesmen tactics not realizing how wrong he was. They didn't offer to pay for my flight back so I pretty much ended up paying for a $600 lunch in Phoenix... The absolute worst experience buying a car I've ever had. read more

First...if there was an option to give less than one star I would select that option. My step son (18 years old) put his hard earned money down on a F350 that was guaranteed to have been a mechanically sound truck. Less than 2 months after the truck was purchased, the truck blew a head gasket. This required extensive repair costing several thousand dollars. Of which my step son again threw in his hard earned money after being required to negotiate the repair that clearly fell within the 60 day warranty period. Not sure why he would be required to negotiate a repair that fell within the 60 day warranty...but moving on. The truck was fixed and the repair lasted for about two weeks before the next issue arose. Now the truck is sitting in the shop and requires over 15,000 dollars in repairs. Lee the sales person has been of no help. If the truck was gone thru by a reputable mechanic like advertised, then how can this happen. The dealer claims to have bent over backwards to help but they have not at all. When the first issue arose the dealer was very reluctant to help in any way and the threat of legal action is the only thing that prompted them to assist in the first repair. Now they have gotten even more nasty and again refuse to stand by their product. Buyer beware. If your time and money are worth a lot to you, steer clear of this dealer. They are not on the up and up. read more
