Love so much I am a nursing student and my husband and I fell on hard times and needed 2 cars for our family. One for me and one for him and we weren't sure if we would find anyone to work with us and our situation. But the wonderful people here (Joe, David and Mandy) are beyond wonderful. They looked past our problems and saw we just needed a break. And we ended up with an amazing fully loaded Nissan Leaf and a fantastic Prius. These cars fit what we needed perfectly and they made the payments fit our budget. I'm so happy. I recommend them to anyone. Well we had that with my husbands Nissan Leaf that we purchased from here. (I had this car checked out by a Nissan tech right after I bought it because I was nervous buying an electric car and was told it was in perfect condition, so no I was not sold a lemon lol, and it was a tiny car problem that occurred) but anyway, I'm an unemployed student and we have a family so this was a stressful unexpected expense - and so I called the dealership and they happily helped me out. Alta vista auto does it again! First let me say that my car is still running smoothly with no problems what so ever! Recently my vehicle was impounded (fault of my own..guilty) however Alta vista collected the car which saved me a ton of money. I dealt with "John." He was the car salesman. The car is worse off than he presented it to be. (Why am I not surprised?) He wanted me to come to "his mechanic" when any problems arose. Um, no thanks. "His mechanic" gave the car a rave review. 1) He told me through John that the brakes were in good shape. John told me that he never fudges on safety equipment like brakes. That wasn't true in my experience. The brake master cylindor needs to be replaced. 2) I paid an outrageous sum of money for plates and title work on John's promise that he would deliver them to me. Guess what. The temporary tags have expired and John is no where to be found. The person who answered the phone at Alta Vista Auto today told me that he doesn't know where John is and if I want the plates and title I'd better come get them or they would send them through the post. Hmmmm...my tags are expired. I can't drive the car on the streets. I can't drive to get the plates. I can't use the car to get to work. In my experience, Alta Vista Auto is a bad company to do business with: its employees are dishonest and once they get your money they could care less about the customer. read more

Once I was preapproved Joe actually let me take the vehicle before the financing was finished so I could Surprise my daughter with her car for her 18th birthday. What a great surprise it was. My daughter loved her VW Beetle! We returned after her birthday to sign all the paperwork. His Finance Assistant Amanda is very efficient and is a real sweetheart as well!! This is Stacy F!! Bought a 2006 Kia Rio from Alta Vista in or around March about six months ago and a week later my 2 passenger tires blew out on me at Lake Pleasant. Apparently when they sold me the car they made sure that the bald tires they put on wasnt showing, They put thebald tires on the inside so you could'nt see how worn they were. Called them to tell'em that they sold me vehicle with unsafe tires for the road.They said they would give me only half of what the tires cost. Which they did( that just goes to show that they admitted guilt) so I took it. Only after the brother Joe lied and said I demanded them to rectify the problem and they need to pay me back. Not true!! Wasn't happy about that. Then a couple days later my car started acting up and they ended up putting map sensor in free of charge but problem still persisted so I brought it back and they put a crank sensor in which they made me pay but just tacked it on my auto loan. Shouldn't have had to pay for that either. Then found out when I went to ABC Nissan that Alta Vista never reported my payments to the credit bureau. So I ended up buying the 2015 Nissan Sentra and called Alta Vista to let them know I was bringing the Kia back and they said it was fine. Not to mention on my contract it states I can bring the car back at anytime with no problems. Well when I brought the car back I forgot my allen wrench at home to remove my brand new rims and tires, so I asked if they had any. The owner said yeah and then came back stood behind my car and said he was repossessing my car (which I wasn't even late on. I have a 10 day grace period and I always paid it on the 11th or the 14th of every month with no late fees.) Then told two of his co-workers if my man tries to run him over knock him out. Anyhow he ended up assaulting my man from trying to reach in the driver's side door to take the keys out of the ignition. So my man twisted his arm to get him off and out of the car. I got out of my new car to stop everything and everyone backed off!! I called the cops but they couldn't do anything because my man left (only because he didn' t want any problems). The cops said if I wanted to press charges I could but I didn't I was happy to be rid of him and his headache of a vehicle. Well 2 days later he thinks he's smart and repossesses my car at like 2am or 3am, which still he had no right yet because I wasn't in breach of my contract. My rims were still on the car when they repossed it. Not to mention I called the owners assistant Mandy and set up a day to bring the car back before they repossed my car. I called the cops and they said it was a civil matter to take him to court. 4 days later my boyfriend's coworker saw my vehicle and it was't at the business but at the owners home. So, the next day I went to his house at 2 am and repossed my rims and tires and then dropped the car back off. They caught me slipping but I caught them too. I spoke with an officer before I did this and he said it was a gray area. There would be headaches meaning cops at my house that's it. I wouldn't get arrested though if I had all my paperwork.The cops did say they don't advise what I wanted to do but to try and talk to him with a cop present to see if he would give me my rims back. I knew that was' t happening so I handled it. read more
