    Nice $80,000 plus, smooth sailing!

    Reading the reviews of Kia Dealerships near Chico CA, it became apparent there were only 3: Roseville Kia, Geweke Kia in Yuba City, and last but not least, Redding Kia. As an owner of a Kia I found myself reading back and forth which of the 3 mentioned above was the better for servicing the vehicle. Reviews at best are tricky, and at worst can be severely misleading. Noticed that one of the two websites tends to rate higher than the other. Is an arduous task to read reviews, from shinning 5 stars to devastating bad 1 stars. The best formula I have found is the law of averages. The thing is that KIA has to be serviced at an official KIA, simple as that. So I chose Redding KIA, 70+ miles from Chico. Let's just say they seemed the better choice. Took the 99 and slowly but surely enjoyed the sights until connecting with the 5 Freeway. Service Department, attentive and courteous, service needed executed well enough to please my critical nature. Service advisor helpful and efficient at his job Mr. Jose Yzaguirre, led me to believe fair play would take place. I've had over the years some scandalous businesses demoralize me to no end, among them the car industry, which should come as no surprise to some good people. Must mention Monica? nice lady who set up my appointment and extremely congenial on the phone while doing it. Overall, my first visit in Northern California to Redding KIA could be considered a thumbs app. 4.5 Stars.

    No alarm went off

    ***WARNING*** i bought a 2023 Kia soul. my car was broken into (driver window smashed) and the alarm didn't go off. I did some research on Kia's through many websites and i read many reviews. some Kia's don't come with shock sensors from the factory, meaning you have to get them installed or something similar. I was not told this when I bought my Kia (of course they're not going to tell you how your car is defective) and I am grossly dissatisfied. to test this, my mom and I both have Kia's (her a 2023 seltos) and we shook, kicked, punched, and what we though to trigger the alarm. nothing. be careful when buying from Kia. this review is from two different Kia customers.

    I called yesterday, 1/16/2025, to see if i could make an appointment to have a simple A12 service…read moredone on my 2013 Honda., but I was told they could not take my car in. I was very perplexed, especially since they are the only Honda dealership in town. Anyway, the service department gave me two reasons why the could not take service my car. 1. My car had never been serviced there before, and 2. My car is over 10 years old!!! I've never heard of such ridiculous reasoning. I have never heard of such rules. Anyway, I brought my car to the dealership where i usually get it serviced and told them what happened and they were absolutely flabbergasted. They had never heard of anything like this and they said that if any customer brings in a bond, we will take care of them, no matter what year the car is. **Just a fair warning to Honda owners whose cars are 10 years or older moving to Redding or the surrounding area, you will definitely have to find another place to have you car serviced! 0 customer service 0 for poor management/ownership to allow this lack in support for Honda owners in the community

    Came in about 3 weeks to have my oil and battery changed. After 1 hour+, they said everything is…read moreall good and charged me. Today, my car battery died and I find out that they did not replace the battery and kept the old one in. I had to move my car and jump it then drive all the way back. They said that they had a "random" battery sitting that they were confused about and decided it was best to wait until someone showed up to pick it up. I don't understand why the could have called me to let me know or investigate to find out that they did not change the car battery. They also did not offer any discount for this inconvenience. I will never come back here again. You pay for a service for them not to perform it and act all fraudulent.
