Place was kind of dismal. In the middle of a steep hill. Bright orange lifeguard building. Small lot, barely any cars yet. To be fair, It's new. The gentleman selling cars was sort of nice, but mainly awkward. Didn't seem like much of a salesman for the experience. Then I asked how many miles a 2011 Cruz had? And their answer was ( goofy shruggs) I don't know like 190 thousand. It will get you at least a couples months. Then laughs. I am chalking it up to just being a new spot and tomes are tough. I purchased my 2002 PT Cruiser from West Coast Autos in 2008. Because of them, I will never buy from a small car lot like that again. When you sign papers with small lots, you can not return the car, (I learned).I had actually test drove the car several times before buying it. The NIGHT I bought it, I followed my friend to her house (as she was taking my old car) and on the WAY over, it over heated. I took it back the next day and they blamed it on the radiator cap. I have replaced that three times in 3 years? From that day forward, no exaggeration WHAT SO EVER, that car has been in the shop enough times that I could have paid for a new car by now. At least once a month. Not only have I replaced everything under the hood twice by now, (so it seems) the inside is a piece of crap also. I have to say, then owner was nice and because of all the problems I was having, he let me "borrow more money" and extend my warrantee. But I could never sell my car because everything about it, exterior and interior is a piece of crap. I drive by that place once in a while, and it just makes me cringe. read more

I wish to advise everyone not to buy from west coast auto! Owner is very nice but leads you into a world of destruction. From the time I bought my van within 24 hours the engine light was on. I called him in a panic, he assured me it was nothing and to bring it in. So I did, after him looking at it light was off. I thanked him and went on my way. I lived 40 miles away at the tieme. The engine light came on 1 week later he said it was fine and I asked him for a different car. He told me.he.would fix this one & get it back to me. I recently bought a car from them as well, I loved the car, test drove it, it ran smooth. The owner was very upfront about some of the interior damage and I thought hey at least he isn't lying. I was originally quoted a certain price, then it went up another 1000 but we were told it was because of all of the repairs and fees and everything so after talking to family they said it was normal, I decided to buy. After waiting nearly a month to get my vehicle in the first place (I kept being told they were doing this and that) I was real happy, not even 24 hours later we find out that NOTHING was done, not a safety inspection, wires were chewed through, and there was a life threatening problem with it, I had my kids in this car. Now I am going to try to see what I can do about getting my money back or having them actually do something about it.....I will stress this to everyone I know, NEVER EVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THERE! read more
