We just bought a really nice Dodge 4x4 Big Horn truck. Kurt's Grandell was real easy to work with…read more They have a great selection and he gave us a great price. The buying process was very easy and smooth transaction. We will be repeat buyers with these guys.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Avoid this dealership at all costs…read more My initial interaction was was great. The sales rep at their Red Bluff location was amazing. Fast forward 5 months and it has been literal HELL. I was visiting from out of state when my previous vehicle died and I had to purchase a vehicle to return home to Oregon. I purchased my vehicle outright and also purchased the extended warranty they offered. I went to use the warranty I paid for when we had some parts fail on this vehicle (after only 5 months). This is when I discovered that my warranty contract was NEVER sent in. I attempted to reach out to the Red Bluff location only to find the number disconnected. I then reached out to the Anderson location, explained the situation and was told the manager was at their other location and they would have him call me back. A few hours later, I called in again and asked to speak to the manager only to be told no, that the manager was not working that day but they would call me back with information in an hour. A few hours later, I called in again to get ANYONE to send over my contract to the warranty company so I can get my vehicle fixed. Spoke to another employee who told me that I could not speak to the manager because they had a death in the family and it was hard to get someone on the phone. This employee then explained to me that the company they use for the extended warranty often claims they don't have paperwork because they don't "save" it when it is sent in. Again, I asked for a direct line to a manager so I can at least leave a voicemail to get answers and was told no. So off to the warranty company I go. I called them to find out what exactly was going on from their end. Turns out payment for my warranty was made with no copy of my contract and they had been trying to get it since OCTOBER (it is now the end of May). They informed me that they have made multiple attempts to reach the dealership with no cooperation from them. At this point I'm livid so I call back again asking for contact information for the owner. This situation was getting messy and I just wanted answers. Miraculously, the manager was able to get on the line. According to him, he had been in the office all day assisting customers and had not had a death in the family. When I informed him that I was at the end of my rope dealing with their location and wanted to speak to someone above him I was told he is the "end all, be all". After a lot of back and forth, this manager now wants me to send him a scanned copy of MY copy of the warranty contract so he can send it to the warranty company and we can "be done with it". A contract that they have the original of AND should have already been sent in months ago. His response to how they were going to make this right was that they "did the hard part and sent the money in" to the warranty company. Save yourself the headache and do not purchase from this company. They're shady, have horrible customer service and apparently do not know how to handle important documents. If the owner reads this, I sincerely hope you revisit who you have in management and policies around who to contact when management fails because this is absolutely insane.

Our Class A Motorhome broke…read moredown on I5 in the Shasta mountains with a "Stop Engine Light" the afternoon of July 3rd, before the long 4th of July weekend. First, Good Sam made us figure out where to have our RV towed before they would send a truck. After a couple hours on the side of I5 calling several places (we don't work on RVs...or, we only work on the coach, not the chassis...or, we cannot see you until the week of 7/15...), we finally found Freightliner NW. Our day turned around when we started talking to Nick. He was very calm and reassuring that they could take care of us. He also referred us to Black Butte Towing (separate 5-star review) when Good Sam was quoting a 4-5 hour wait. In addition to his handholding us through multiple phone calls, Nick was there to meet us when we arrived around 10:30 that night and get us settled in for the night. The next morning, Justin picked up the baton from Nick and got our RV in for immediate service. The service tech, Brian, quickly identified the broken $45 part and had it replaced (and drive train reconnected) before noon. We were very pessimistic, given the holiday weekend. But feel very fortunate that Freightliner Northwest: was: - open until 11:30 PM the night of 7/3 - were open half day on July 4th - were able to prioritize our service that morning - had the part we needed - just damn friendly, in addition to being so competent For a trip we were seriously considering turning around for, or at the very least, assumed we would lose several days in Redding (due to holiday weekend), we ultimately only lost 1 day or our trip. Cannot thank the crew at Freightliner Northwest enough for taking care of us and getting us back on the road so quickly.

Tyler, their Allison transmission certified technician was off until Tuesday. They were extremely busy but knew that we were traveling and worked us in. Our rig was diagnosed on Wednesday & Thursday, repair work was completed Friday morning and we were back on the road headed home around 3pm. Both Erik and Tyler came in as we were checking out. Erik went over the warranty information Tyler went over everything concerning the problem & repair with us. We had a 7 hr drive home and our rig drove perfect, no problems. I would definitely recommend Redding Freightliner Northwest and wouldn't hesitate to take my motor home there for work.
