As always we were treated like friends not just a customer. When I had a last minute "Help" call they did just that. They worked me into the schedule quickly & got me back on the road. The icing on this cake was the final total. We are living in a world where everything is SO expensive it truly was a blessing to have been taken care of ethically & with compassion and kindness. We are customers as long as they will have us. ;) Margie read more

While driving to Oregon from southern Cal, my BMW X3 needed a radiator repaired. Steve and his team were very professional and thorough. Their communication was clear throughout the process and the work was completed on time and in line with estimate. I would highly recommend them. read more

Stacie who answers the phone and assisted me could not have been any more polite and helpful. I brought a vehicle in for a repair for a fuel pump and approved the repair. They did not start yet and I found out there's a recall on my vehicle, so I decided to take it to a dealership 70 miles away. Stacie was so gracious about the restocking fee. I was able to pay the restocking fee and get the help I needed without ruining a relationship with a great garage. I highly recommend them. They are great communicators. I got my transmission service done through them and was satisfied. read more

Awesome service. Amazing staff! I would highly recommend! Couldn't believe how fast the turnaround time was. I would highly recommend this shop. read more

i called to see if they could do some work on my Porsche 924 and they said they dont work on cars older then 1995 that really sucks i wont come here again. also my brother inlaw got an oil changed on his Audi A4 and they charged like 1,000 bucks or close to that what a rip off place! read more

Absolutely the best mechanics in town. Honest and friendly. I would take my car no where else. Got quoted for a fix of $1600 for my mini cooper. They dug into it and found that one of the brackets they thought was broken, wasn't actually broken. Instead of just charging me what I accepted. They told the truth and took 400$ off the bill. 100% recommend. read more

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend 02 motorsports. I've been here twice for services in the last 6 months. They did a good job, I paid for the services and they did them, no extra brownie points but could be worse. Front and rear diffs, trans, awd, and oil all serviced it would be nice to get some pictures or something other than paying and leaving but again the little touches just make it that much nicer. BUT... my car is throwing some random codes and I can't figure out why. Called them again to see when I can get in to troubleshoot what's going on. She called back saying they won't do the work and take it to the VW dealership..... in Chico. That's enough for me to not go back even with the slim pickings of euro shops around Redding. You're an auto shop that fixes cars... try to fix it. read more

They are always friendly and helpful, answer all our questions and explain what needs to be done and why. Plus they make good recommendations of other businesses that provide services that they do not provide, like smog, tires or auto body work. We will continue to go back to O2 Motorsports as long as they are open. read more

Thank you to O2 Motorsports for diagnosing and fixing my teenage daughters car so quickly. The customer service is outstanding. The cleanest and friendliest auto shop I have ever experienced. I highly recommend. read more

Only place I will take my 340i outside of the Bay Area. Not cheap, but they actually fix things and know what they are doing. And the dogs are awesom. read more

I was on a road trip passing through Redding and had a check engine light come on. I called O2 and asked if they could help me figure out what the issues was - they said to come on by! Very nice people that have a great shop with friendly staff. Tyler plugged the computer into my car and provided advice on the error that was coming up. The owners were super helpful and provided me with the information needed to continue on my trip until I could get home to my mechanic in Los Angeles. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend them if you need a mechanic in Redding (and the nearby areas)! Thank you very much! read more

O2 motor sports is the best in town. They always go above and beyond and willing to help in any way. They are fast and always friendly. They will always get my business and I recommend them 200%. read more

Taking an expensive car to the shop is nerve wracking. You know it's going to be expensive and the last thing you need is to be treated poorly or cheated. Which happens quite often at a dealer. The owners of O2 are so honest and trustworthy and so nice. Their work is outstanding, not overpriced and the treat you so well. I highly recommend them!! read more

They are in league with anyone who works on foreign and domestic cars in Los Angeles (which is where I live) but perhaps even better! They're brilliant, kind, courteous, gracious and honest! My VW Beetle has NEVER run better. They truly went above and beyond and the waiting room as your car is being fixed or maintained by the best, is so comfortable! I recommend this business STRONGLY and that says a lot because I rarely take the time to write reviews but this business is worth one thousand outstanding reviews! read more

Took my car in for an oil change and break inspection. Did a great job and very friendly people. Highly recommended!

Can't say enough about Stacy and the team. We are new to Redding and have an older Jetta that needed some serious attention. We were recommended by several people to try O2 Motorsports to help us get our daughters car repaired. Not only do they have the best customer service but they take the time and really tell you about the problem in a way that you as the customer can understand. Stacy recommended to us that the car needed something else repaired and we'd be ok for a bit but we went ahead and made another appt. since they are in high demand. Thank you for talking the time and explaining the problems and giving us the option vs pushing us into something that is not on the cheap side to fix. Your attention to detail is appreciated and we will be back in a couple of weeks. read more

On my way from northern WA to Sacramento, CA, my 2003 VW Golf TDI went into limp mode shortly after I left the Lakehead rest stop. I pulled over at an emergency parking area and restarted the car, and it went into limp mode again. I limped to the AutoZone in Redding and they directed me to O2 Motorsports. What a pleasant surprise! I showed the technician, Adam the readout AutoZone gave me when they ran diagnostics and he explained what the problem might be. Then he inspected the car for hose leaks and found a small nick and repaired it in minutes. He also cleared the CEL - all without an appointment! I can't believe how fortunate I am to have stumbled on O2 Motorsports. Adam's customer service and professionalism was incredible. While I don't live in the area, I still intend to bring my car here to get serviced (trustworthy mechanics are worth their weight in gold), especially after reading everyone else's glowing reviews. As many other reviewers pointed out, they have an incredible lobby - I almost thought I was in the wrong place - LOL read more

As a single woman I worry about mechanics taking advantage of me. I know nothing about cars. The team at O2 Motorsports was phenomenal. I can't say enough positive things about them. They took very good care of my 2015 528i BMW with exceptional customer service. And what I thought was going to cost a few thousand dollars ended up being under a thousand. Thank you!!! read more

All I can say is that Steve went above and beyond my expectations. They truly take care of their customers. For them, it is more about the bottom line. They take pride in their work and stand by it. I would highly recommend them.. read more

Outstanding service and great facility! I was told by a BMW dealer the Oil Level Sensor had to be replaced before anything could be done, and was quoted more than $400 for the part plus labor; plus any unknown parts an labor after they find out why the sensor failed. I am so glad to find O2 Motorsports. As complicated as BMW's are to work on, and the complexity of all the computers and sensors involved, O2 Motorsports quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem before it caused any engine damage and unnecessary costs. In less than an hour my 2015 328 GT was finished at a very reasonable cost and without replacing any parts. A Big Thank you to Stacey for your great service and attention to detail. It's so nice to have an expert nearby that can be trusted. read more

The best shop in town thank you and hopefully no more vehicle problems. Fixed my daughters car and 100 under the estimate.

I really can't say enough about O2. There's no dealership up here for my BMW, but I've received better service and more accurate diagnostics here than any dealership. Fair prices and no unnecessary repairs. They've also got the cutest little pups hanging out in the lobby that I can't get enough of! read more

O2 Motorsports is worthy of 500 stars if that were an option! They do great work, are timely and super friendly. They have always given us a clear estimate prior to doing the work and there haven't been any surprise charges. Steve and Stacey are friendly and helpful! The waiting area is comfortable and clean. Don't hesitate to have your car serviced here! read more

Steve and Stacy are amazing! If it hadn't been for their patience, kindness, professionalism and skills I am not so sure my sons unfortunate car situation would have had such a happy ending. I'm not a review writer but considering the circumstances at the time and the outcome experience we had with O2 motor-sports I felt the least I could do was get the word out on this great place. read more

I typically hate dealing with auto repair people, especially as a female. I am always made to feel as if I am being "dismissed" or not taken serious. O2 is simply the best auto repair place I have ever dealt with. ... I've always had BMWs, Peugeot's, Mercedes or Volvos. So, I've had more than my share of auto mechanic challenges (yep try finding someone who can work on a Peugeot 604, when only a couple hundred were imported). Steve and Stacey and their crew are the best. I always am thrilled when my "free" services expire and I can transition from the dealer to O2. Truly the best read more

I Love These Guys! I have taken 6 different vehicles in the past for various different problems. They are always Good in explaining and showing me what I need and sometimes even when I thought I needed something fixed they Will Not over sell You! I am just So Happy they are here locally in Redding! I will not take my vehicles Anywhere else! So happy with the quick turn over too! read more

I love O2 Motorsports! Steve and Stacey (the husband and wife team who own the shop) are wonderful to deal with. When they say that they're going to get something done by a certain time, its done. I never feel like I'm getting ripped off and they will take all the time in the world to explain things to you (unlike other shops who ask for the money and tell you what you need without explanation!) All my experiences there have been positive and I would recommend this shop to anyone. As a side note, if you've never seen a proper show car before, these guys have 'em. There are theme mini-coopers, a custom Porsche, and the coolest Jetta I have ever seen! I'm not a car person, but with what they can do to a vehicle, I could become one!!! read more

Wow. After the VW dealer closed in Redding, I was looking for a reputable shop to take my car to. I got a recommendation for O2 from Hild Collision. I just got my car back and am still in minor shock at how exceptional their service was. They raised the bar. Stacy was knowledgeable, professional and kind from the first phone call and Steve went above and beyond. They knew what I was in for when I walked in, had the estimate printed and ready and even got the car done hours earlier than I expected! On top of that, they're wonderful to talk with. Nobody likes grumpy people. Guess who I'm calling next time. read more

O2 is the best for foreign cars! I took my Audi there that was having a very bizarre issue where the brake lights came on randomly in the middle of the night- I took it to several places and no one would even try to figure out what was wrong. O2 put in the time and the effort and the owner personally identified the issue and took great care of my car. I definitely recommend them for your foreign car. read more

Coming highly recommended by a friend of mine. I decided to bring my recently bought 2005 BMW X5 here. My window regulator came out to 450$ here and some change. Very happy with the work done here. They know how to work on European cars and did not disappoint. read more

After hearing from others "take it to the dealer," then "take it to the manufacturer," I finally found O2 to actually provide some sound counsel and service. I was at wits end and just needed some advice on how I might resolve a problem in getting my vehicle registered. They actually listened, asked good questions, and came up with suggestions for resolving the issues EVEN IF THEY WERE NOT GOING TO PROVIDE THE NECESSARY SERVICES!!! Very rare these days to find companies like this. Steve and Stacey are aces in my book read more

Honest and friendly. I recently took my car for service and they told me that I didn't need an oil change yet.

I meet Steve back in 2001 when I moved here from the Bay. I explained what was wrong with my BMW and Steve took it from there. What I liked about Steve then and to present is his honesty. From that point on he was our doctor of autos. Since then he has taken care of my daughters auto, and my additional purschases of newer cars. The best thing he has done was to open 02 Motorsports but, even more the that was marrying Stacy. So for the last 17 years I have been very pleased with their service. No I was not paid for this review! I just believe in excellant service deserves koodles. read more

I was driving through Redding in the middle of a trip and noticed smoke and clicking sounds when I accelerated on the freeway. I was recommended to O2 Motorsports because I drive a VW and I was not disappointed. Even though most employees were at lunch, I was quickly looked at, diagnosed, and on my way within the hour for only $50 (thank goodness!). read more

The people at O2 Motorsports really are the best; they're some of the nicest people you'll ever meet! They bring their four dogs to work and they are super sweet too! I drive a 2007 VW Beetle (bought it used in 2011), and so far they've done 2 oil changes, changed the water pump and when they saw that my power steering box was cracked, they fixed it for free because it was still under warranty. They just recently replaced the wheel bearing because it was making noise, and they noticed that my car was way out of alignment (I knew that, but I was going to wait on that one), and they aligned it for me for no charge! What a nice surprise after the inconvenience of having to pay for the wheel bearings! I really love the people here, they'll really take care of you and your car while brightening up your day (plus, it's fun to play with their dogs! ) Anyways, I won't take my car anywhere else! And if you're looking for somewhere to have your German car serviced in Redding, go to O2 Motorsports, you won't be disappointed!! read more

I have brought my Porsche to O2 Motorsports several times, for both preventive and corrective maintenance. After owning 3 Porsches in 4 different states, I have found that O2 stands above others I have used. Steve and Stacy are absolutely the best! We needed to get a trailer hitch and brake controller hooked up on our BMW X3 and nobody (including the BMW dealer) wanted to touch it! Steve was able to hook up everything perfectly and I was blown away with the quality of the work. In addition he even worked late to get us finished in time for our camping trip and didn't overcharge us. I highly recommend them and will use them again for any future needs. read more

Steve and Stacy are the best. Not only are they nice as pie, but they know their field. You need a repair? See O2. You want a 500 hp fire breathing monster that sucks tiny pathetic cars through its intakes and spits them out the exhuast? See O2. Steve is an amazing mechanic and all the guys (and gal! ) are top notch. Steve doesn't pull punches, he tells it like it is and if u got problems with your ride, he will let you know.
