The lady seemed helpful and what she knew but right off the bat for a problem that I can visually look at and she could visually look at she wanted $179 diagnostic when I wanted to replace the system and replace it with the new system, I do not need a diagnostic to replace part with a new part. I asked if $179 would go towards the $2000 -$3000 of work that would end up needing to have to be done. And she said no, had they applied this I would've had them do the work, but since they are unwilling to do that, I will go elsewhere. read more

Flagged Content: I brought my 30ft timber Ridge trailer to their service dept for awning replacement after a wind event ripped it from the trailer. I spoke to a young man named Kyler at the service dept. my power jack failed to function when loading up my trailer to the truck. Kyler mentioned that the power jack likely will need replacing - the switch was NOT serviceable in majority of cases! My batteries also were dead. trailer was on shore power and had sat unused for over 2 years. Totally camping were not going to start on my job till following week. I returned to the service area to pull the batteries with their permission a couple days later. While there i pulled the housing from the jack and unclipped the switch and the jack had power. i replaced the same switch and the jack was working fine!! No need to replace. Kyler could have walked up to the trailer and pushed a button to see it was good...but he felt it was necessary to email me to ASK IF THE JACK WAS WORKING!! LOL First sign of an attitude issue from this kid! I brought the power roller that i had to remove from trailer prior to towing to the repair shop. it was is fine shape. worked well prior to the wind event. i told kyler i needed to use it to keep cost down...he said nothing. I asked for a quote for the rubber roof to be sealed. I got a estimate for 12.5 hours of labor @ $180/Hr!!! And only 2 gallons of sealant when 4-5 Gallons was required...also included the rubber gloves, booties, tape, Band-Aids and who knows what else. Over $2000 to seal my roof!!!! On june 2nd kyler was to start the process with an estimate. I was told everything was dependent on his estimate for the job. So... on june 4th he had included the roller in the estimate (that i never saw) and was apparently unhappy for some odd reason. i was told the parts from Dometic were unavailable for 6-8 weeks. He asked what color i wanted - black, only, white. I said onyx. Now a flury of unprofessional emails were exchanged due to his obvious need to pad his estimate with a new rollers cuz the jack did not need replaced(fixed), etc. Then the next email was worse-telling me he could only get the WHITE one when his previous email said different-more attitude from him. I repeated in 4-5 emails "all I need is the estimate; could you get it to me sometime today...another rude email- "this is on your time" for again...reasons he could not explain. I had already called Safari RV and ordered the Onyx awning material which i will p/u on tuesday....the same one he said would take weeks and not the correct color!!( I did not tell him this to keep the process going for the estimate) The entire process came to a grinding halt. Kyler does not have what it takes to perform his job function. Maybe he is the owners kid??? He needs to go back to school...or something. Now i'm being harassed by the service manager (maybe his mom?) and my trailer is being held hostage until MONDAY! Very poor "service" from this place! ZERO COMMUNICATION. I approached another guy there and asked if he was the "manager"...I was told "We don't have a manager here"!! No manager??? That's what is missing...DIRECTION. COMMUNICATION AND ORGANIZATION. While I was working on the trailer jack other employees were asking me (in jest) if i wanted a job, "we could sure use another pair of hands"! NO, NO thank you!! In late Nov. 2024 the refrigerator when out in my RV. I was traveling from Oregon to Bodega Bay and Googled RV repair in Redding; the closest location to the breakdown. Not knowing Redding I took a chance on TowTally. It was during very heavy rain when I pulled into their lot. Brandon Lujan and Brian stopped what they were doing, opened a pop-up tent to work under and proceeded to trouble-shoot the problem. A special order part was necessary but I had to get to my destination and couldn't wait a few days in Redding. When I asked how much I owed for the diagnostic they said "no charge"! We had them replace one of our AC's last fall before putting our RV into storage. They got us in quickly, found a unit that would work, and got the job done in the same day. They even billed our extended warranty for us. Yesterday we took the RV out of storage for the first time since having the AC put in and storing it. We found that the heater wouldn't work. We called Towtally and they sent two techs to us the next day. It was a simple fix due to a simple mistake/oversight when the AC was put in. Their service was fast and friendly. We have twice had the best service and excellent repairs completed on two of our rv's! Professional, experienced, efficient and thorough! We have had several trailers and fifthwheels over the past 20 years... always selling and upgrading...this year to a 40 ft toyhauler with several slides. Although the past two were used, they were in excellent condition. We used them alot... both had normal wear and tare on the seals and slides. towTally replaced several previously damaged or worn seals and repaured one. They did a once over in each, certifying the roof and other items.. at our initial request. After the repairs we had several trips and verified the repairs were done well and all was in perfect operating order..... with no problems... what I appreciate is that they never tried to upsell us on anything. Our sewer hose came apart while traveling- we called ahead to these folks on a recommendation from my fb winnebago group as we were heading their direction. They squeezed us in early the next morning to take a look. 3 guys all knew what they were doing and quickly came up with a plan and executed it. It was a complicated situation as the disconnect was in the middle of the underbody above a steel plate where only spiderman would be able to get to. TowTally Camping - 'Rusty' All fixed!! - RV Repair Near Me - Redding, California

I cannot really describe how upset my wife and I are with TowTally RV. We called to make an appointment for an estimate in late March 2022, we were given an appointment date on May 2 (six weeks out). We brought our RV to them on May 2nd and were told we should hear something by the end of the week. Well we waited until the following Monday and called again. They told us they will get to it sometime this week. We called on Wednesday and they said they will try to look at it on Friday. No word and on Friday, I called back and they said Chris was looking at it as we spoke. I asked if I could speak with him and after about 5 minutes they connected me with Chris. Chris said he had estimates on everything except the refrigerator. He said he would call me on Monday. No call on Monday, on Tuesday we called and raised hell and got some attention. We agreed on the 6 items we wanted fixed and that they would complete them within a week. The following week I called them on Monday and they said it would be ready the next day, Tuesday. We arrive on Tuesday and to say the least, it did not go well. They charged us $75 for charging our house batteries, even though I had told them they were shot and I was going to replace them myself. They installed a new faucet on our kitchen sink, when we turned it on it leaked all around the bottom, the feeding hoses were loose. They were to fix a day/evening shade, when we tried to lower it, it came off the mount. There were more issues, but for time sake I am going to finish here. While I know there are some good RV service companies these guys are not in that group. I question their billing practices as well as their ethics. Never again. Beware. read more

we received awesome service on July 23, I drove 190 miles one way to have our trailer fixed ( factory did goodwill warranty ) since the local dealers and dealers near me did not even give me the time of the day, since I did not buy there. I had spoken to the factory about my problem( major panel fell off on our pop up trailer) and they told me they would take care of it ( we bought trailer in oct. 2018) My own selling dealer was like oh, there is no warranty anymore, even after I told them I talked to the factory, Tow Tally stuff worked with me and the factory rep and got it fixed the same day, the tech explained to me how he fixed it and that it should hold better now than before, using different screws than the factory ones, (they all had fallen out) It was a long drive to have it fixed but worth it, we went on camping 2 days later, read more
