On our way to Shasta, we decided to make a change
John V.

We were on a trip recently from San Diego to North Idaho, and along the way, we decided our ToyHauler did not offer us all we wanted in an RV. So, while staying near Lake Shasta we came across Harrison's Marine & RV on Facebook and saw how so many people spoke highly of them. So, we gave them a call and spoke with Bill and found him a wealth of knowledge and NOT PUSHY :) He was so pleasant and easy to speak with, not only did he show us the features of their Surveyor line, he helped us understand many of the options that were now available on the 2020 models (Love the auto-leveling) We're getting older and he explained how these new features really saved us physically from the labors of setting up and departing. Later, we met Steve who helped us with understanding how affordable this purchase could be and also helped us make a great decision on an extended warranty, that brings us peach of mind in knowing we have years of coverage now and since we're gonna be using this RV a lot more with our retirement in sight, it just made great sense. We also go to meet Terri in the office, what a sweet thing she is and Rod the owner took the time to tell us about a couple of great spots to visit on our way north. He was spot on, but I guess that comes with having been raised in the business. Overall, it was an awesome experience and with our 2020 Surveyor West 250FKS in tow, we are loving life and enjoying this great country more than ever. Thanks, HMRV - you guys are awesome - The V-C's

I love Harrisons Marine and Scott and his crew! I have purchased several boats from them in the past and they are always fair and willing to work with my price range. For the past 11 years I have brought my Tour boat in for services and repairs and received nothing less then TOP SHELF service and speedy return of my boat. Scott is a wealth of knowledge and is always very helpful, in one instance last month he even came out to the lake to replace a part for me because I could not make it back in to the shop the day it came in. As a testament to his dedication, he did it on his day off which is even bigger indication of his professionalism and dedication to his clients. ( Thanks Scott!!) I have had Harrisons service all 5 of my boats some personal, some business related and they take great care of me each and every time. Last July Scott even went so far as to help diagnose another boats problem that was stuck on the dock on their vacation and offer to order parts for them and have them at the shop the following day so they could get off my tour boat and back onto theirs for their vacation. If I could give 10 stars I would, they may not be the least expensive, but if you want it done RIGHT THE FIRST TIME go to Harrisons Marine! Thanks for taking such great care of us Harrisons!! YOU ROCK!! Captain Michele at Fun Factory Powerboat Adventures and Wakeboard/Wakesurf School, Lake Shasta!

Appointment comes and I take the boat in and drop it off with a list of my concerns. He lets me know the tech came back from a conference and was out sick that day. Ok, no problem. After a week I call back and tech hadn't had a chance to look at the motors yet. Following week, call back again, still haven't looked at the boat. They had our boat for over 6 weeks without doing a thing and very poor communication. Found another boat shop to look at them within a week. Called back to let them know not to start and I was coming to pick up my boat. He said he would have someone look at it by the end of the week and I declined his offer. Fast forward 3 months, We were in West Marine looking for a part. They didn't have it but recommended going to the Outboard Center. My first thought was absolutely not! Work brought my boyfriend down the street from the Outboard Center a few hours later and he decided to swing in. Christina was AMAZING!! He explained our previous issues and she apologized and explained changes have been made to better serve her customers. She was able to order the parts and get us scheduled to have the part fixed in our very tight time frame. We picked up the part, installed it, and it was leaking. Called her up and she immediately called the manufacture. She didn't have the individual part but had a whole rebuild kit she was able to take apart to get the part we needed. She made an appointment to bring the boat in the next morning for Colton to get the part replaced. HE had it done by noon and got us back on the road to our vacation. Everything was covered under the manufacture warranty. They have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all of our questions. I am so glad we gave them another chance, they have gone above and beyond for us. I will be sending anyone I know that way.

Seriously unhappy with this shop…read more They don't seem to know the product they sell. Even after buying a new motor from them, they never follow through with what they say they're going to do like call you back with information you need after repeated requests. And this has been from the (new) owner down to the employees. None of them follow through with what they say their going to do without repeated call backs. Regret my purchase and wish I would have used another dealer. Now I dread the thought of having a warranty issue. Hope the motor doesn't have any trouble. Signing up under my Dad's account because I don't want to be uncomfortable if I have to go back in there.

I had it 15 years with no problems. Then a drive bearing went out. Only because I forgot to pull the plug and boat filled with rain. They repair it for 600.00. Insurance company said they didn't cover boats that sank on dry land lol. It has now been 20 years and because of a outdrive leak the outdrive needs repair. Guess who I am taking it to! But first I am giving them first shot at selling me a pontoon boat. Thanks Shasta Inboards.

I have had numerous poor experiences with…read morethe Mastercraft dealer in town, and had in the past had positive dealings with Shasta Inboards. $1,090 later, I go to take the boat out, and they have removed the drain plug from the rear, not replaced it, and it is nowhere to be found. Not trusting that they wouldn't have removed the middle t-handled plug, I unsnapped the carpet to remove the center bilge access and they had cross-threaded it in trying to put it back and and jammed it. Cannot open it. No idea if the center drain plug is in or not. It is 101 degrees outside, a Sunday, and I cannot take my boat out, am out $1090 and have ZERO confidence that any of the work was done right. It makes me sad, there is nowhere to take a boat to have it worked on in Redding. I suppose there are so many boaters and so few places to have them worked on that any kind of service is accepted. Right now I just want to sell my boat, this is too much work and too depressing.
