I Called the shop and asked how much to get a muffler welded onto my Engine [estimate 45.00 + shop labor] Then when I brought my **Bicycle** into the shop to have them Weld on a YZ80 muffler onto a Header to be mounted on the 2 stroke motor. The estimate went up to $120.00 *Including shop labor*. But His welder was out sick, So they had someone else work on it. It sat at their shop for 2 weeks waiting on the welder to get better. by the time the 3rd week rolled around Monday morning I was on the phone and the gentleman on the other end of the phone said he had another mechanic that new how to weld. Would I be all right with him doing the work, I said yes. 3 days later I was told I could pick it up. The Mechanic that worked on my Ride, He's such a Idiot! The welds are blobs and balls & pitted. Worst welding I have ever seen from a Newbie Welder! I had spent 20+ hours getting that Muffler to a Mirror finish and 3 separate coats of High Temp Gloss Black Baked in the oven at 300 degrees for 2 hours and wet sanded after each time before the next coat. It looked like a Black Mirror I loved it! The Welder decided on his own to re-paint my Muffler to it's original flat black using HTP and charged me 2x times the price of A can of High Temp Paint. The Mechanic was using the paint to cover up his poor job of welding. On top of this I was charged 157.29 for him to weld my Muffler & Paint my Muffler. Yes I took a Bicycle to a Motorcycle Mechanic to get a Motorcycle Muffler welded onto a 2 stroke motor for me. I've got over $2,000.00 into this ride. I was shocked at what he did to my ride and the price I was charged, I'll never send anyone to them. read more

I must begin this with stating that I am in fact an African American Veteran of the United States Military. Wednesday I went Xtreme Cycle to get a tattoo from a very talented artist, Dan Biggers. I have had the honor of having 7 very powerful symbols that represent my journey in this universe placed on my body from this man, and now I will tell you why I will never get a tattoo from him again. This is a new shop, and I have never been to this one before. As Dan was tattooing, one of the owners, Tony, discussing with other workers on the cycle repair side how hard it would be to work on a boat motor, said "those motors are a nigger to work on." Fortunately I was lying on my stomach with needles in my back, and a knee jerk reaction would have caused me more pain. When I looked up as best I could, he was gone. I said to Dan "You need to have a conversation about Tony's vocabulary," of which his response was "Oh, he doesn't mean anything by it..." "he's a nice guy..." "he won't change." Every turn there was a defense. Dan said "I get how you feel though" and I posited that "If you got it, we wouldn't be having this conversation. There was no apology, no questions, comments or concerns. The conversation itself was my provocation in the first place. This is a problem for me, and it needs fixing! Doc Farrow read more

I was on a long ride heading home to the Bay area. I stopped for fuel in Redding and my Harley decided to act up on me. I had no lights on my dash when I tried to start it after fueling. I called Xtreme about 1 PM on a Saturday and Gabe was sent down to help me. He came about 15 minutes after I called, which was incredible. We weren't able to pinpoint the actual problem, but Gabe was able to come up with a workaround that allowed me to continue my ride without needing a tow or overnight stay. Theses guy are great and honest people. The first time I went in to their shop I didn't have enough money and they where able to work with me to get my Harley back on the road. They tell you up front what your going to need and how much it will cost. They will recommend the best parts for everyone's riding style. I wouldn't take my bike anywhere else. Yeah you might find a place that might be cheeper but would you want to trust that place. read more

Been here a few times to get some ink and a couple coverups from the guys tattooing. Was able to talk to Tony about my bike. He really sounds very confident and I was very comfortable with everything he said so I brought my bike in for some work. He has always taken the time to talk and address whatever problem I had. He's still getting organized in the front but it's coming together really well. He's brought his son in to learn the business so please be patient. Tony is like a fircken one man army around there and goes well above the call to take care of you. 4 stars for now it's still early in this new relationship so I'll review again as we move along. Called to get a labor estimate on a simple part install and the dumb bitch answering the phone wouldnt listen and just wanted to argue with me. Any mechanic who cant give a labor cost estimate on a simple install over the phone is garbage and according to the bitch on the phone this mechanic is garbage. read more

Beware of this shop. Brought my Sea-Doo in because it was running a little rough. I was very specific in telling them all I wanted was a dependable Sea-Doo and cost was not an issue. They told me it needed an engine rebuild and a pump rebuild. Cost around $3000. Upon picking it up there was oil all over inside and out of my ski. First time I took it out the pump blew up in the first 10 minutes and the haul was filling up with water and if it wasn't for the Styrofoam it would've sank. I brought it back and they rebuilt the pump again. Took it out again and water continued to fill up the haul. At this point I decided to take matters into my own hands and figure it out for myself. Turns out there was fresh JB Weld all over my exhaust pipe and it was leaking. Got it fixed myself for $45 and took it back out again. About an hour and a half on their fresh rebuilt pump and it blew up again. This time destroying my housing. Turns out they did not replace any of the bearings or even change the oil in the housing. Then I decided it was time to check some of the other work they did on the rebuilt motor. Started to notice numerous bolts missing all over the motor and I was even missing some of the vents that are pretty much Irreplaceable. Oil was still all over my fresh rebuilt motor and all inside my haul. At this point I pulled my motor so I could clean everything and lo and behold found JB Weld smeared all over the bottom of my crank case. I'm pretty sure what they did is stole my engine and parts and replaced them with Band-Aided parts from another Sea-Doo. They had one just like it in the back of their shop. The moral of the story is I took my Sea-Doo in because it was running a little rough and it had ran great for five years. After getting it back it never ran again and I'm out $3000. I'm even out another thousand dollars for a core because of the cracked lower case in the motor. I truly hope nobody ever has to go through what I've went through with this shop. read more
