Sept. 8, 2025 A week ago, we were driving through Redding on our way to Oregon when our sunroof imploded, leaving a large hole in it. We went to Blvd Body Shop and asked them for help covering the hole so we could continue on our trip. The owner, Danny Fox, and his employees were most helpful. They securely covered the large hole with plastic and taped around the edges and gave us information on how it could be repaired by a local body shop in our hometown when we returned from Oregon. Prior to bringing my car to Blvd Auto Body I visited their web site. I was impressed with their service offerings and customer reviews. Unfortunately, my review is not a good one for them. I requested some paint work done on my car. I had rubbed against an aluminum stanchion while parking in a tight spot. The lower front of my car just touched it and it left an aluminum-colored spot. Since I was merely parking, I was barely moving. Yet the aluminum stain was there. Upon inspecting my car for a quote, I was told the job estimate was $2,000.00. It included removing my bumper to make sure there was no damage to the car under the bumper. Although I doubted that could be the case, I agreed to that quote. A couple of days later (they had my car for 4 days), I got a call saying when they removed my bumper they broke the front grill on my car. They then proceeded to tell me that this would increase my estimate. That increase was an additional $800.00. My choice was to have that done or have no front grill. As a business owner for over 28 years, I have never charged a client for any mistakes that our company made. We paid for our mistakes. Not the case here, sadly. read more

My outside side mirror recently had a run-in with a post. Being somewhat new to the area, I Googled body shops and decided to stop by BLVD Body Shop. What an awesome experience! The receptionist was super-friendly, which put me right at ease. When Adam came out to have a look, he was able to pop the mirror back in its housing and re-attach a cover that had fallen off. Someone scraped off the front bumper of my daughter's car while it was parked at her college making it undriveable at higher speeds. I called half a dozen shops in the area and ALL were cold/robotic with me, saying 3-4 weeks before they can look at it/fix it. I called BLVD Body Shop and instantly was impressed by the human concern and attention. While they were also backed up for ~3 weeks right now, they had my daughter come down *immediately* and got her bumper re-attached so she can drive it again -- NO CHARGE. We have the repairs scheduled there now as they are Farmer's insurance-approved and connected, ...but man what a relief for a father hours away unable to pull out the ol' duct tape and super glue to make it work... Used them for repair work on my brand new car when I was hit by another vehicle, just a little rear bumper damage. I found their workmanship and customer service to be excellent. I am always hesitant, as a woman, to bring a vehicle in for any kind of servicing or repair because I don't know anything about cars and don't want to be mislead and charged for something that doesn't need fixed. I took my Toyota Yaris to BLVD in February and they said they were very busy and were unable to work on it until April. So in April in went back to see when they could fix my car, I found out that they had not scheduled my repair. They said they were booked up until June. However, they were able to get me in on May 13. They did an excellent job and were done with the car when promised. I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality work. read more

But to update the "Repairs" performed on my Dodge Pick Up, I should have checked the headlights THE night I reluctantly decided to take my truck back from this shop. This after 2+ months. When I turned on the headlights, the driver side is perfect but the passenger side pointed about 25' into the ground. The fog or running lights illuminate the tree tops in my neighborhood. The reason the driver side light is perfect is because they never touched it. This place lacks serious "Quality Control".....gulp.....management. I will take my vehicles to a dealer from now on for any future body work. I recommend you stay away from this place. read more

They did such a nice job on my truck all I can do is let the pictures say it all. I plan on taking it back for a little more work. The truck should last me another 20 years. They also did some front end paint on my 2014 Ford after I had hit a large rock. They matched the paint perfect. A month later I was having my tires rotated and the person let the tire hit the new paint. It was just rubber on the paint but we could not get it off. I took it back to BLVD and they rubbed it out. I was very happy as I keep my things running and looking right. read more

I ran into a former employee and they stated that they half-ass a lot of cars, I told them that from what my car received.. It was no surprise.. I had a comment that they would fix their problems.. Just to respond., I took it back five times.. I had to buy a new under fender tire guard as they put it on upside down.. The bolts didn't line up.. So they just used huge anchor bolts.. My parents CTS, they put the axels in backwards., they took it back five times.. My insurance co. recommended these guys so in I went to get my hail damage repaired. My first warning sign was when the owner told me there was damage on the passenger side. Try as I might I just couldn't see any damage. I mentioned this to this guy and he said if you put these special lights on the area it would really show. I said at no time will I ever put these "special" lights on my vehicle so there is no need to fix this area. He just shrugged and charged the insurance co. to fix this area that was perfectly fine. After getting my vehicle back I noticed a slight rough spot on the drivers door. Just needs some rubbing out I thought and it should be good. Well I brought the vehicle back and show the area to the owner and he denies any problem. Said it was as smooth as all other areas. After 10 minutes of discussion he had the body guy rub it out and that fixed it. I should never had to go through his efforts to make me feel stupid. Now it's six months later and winter hits. This first rain storm comes along and the carpet of the vehicle is soaked. Knowing that my warranty was still in effect, I took the vehicle to the dealership and they found that the leak was from the rear window that was improperly installed by the body shop that repaired the hail damage. A rubber seal was pinched and left that way when put back together. The dealership (Lithia) was very accommodating and repaired it CORRECTLY at no charge. I knew if I returned to Blvd. Auto Body they would fight me to the death and would never repair my vehicle correctly. A big thank you to Lithia! As for Blvd. Auto Body.....beware! read more

I was told parts out of stock- turns out dealership down the street had them for about 2 bucks. I had to organize the delivery to the shop because these guys were too inept to figure it out. I had a rear-end collision in late November. My insurance company (Allstate) was awesome. They appraised the damage, gave me a written copy, wrote me a check in that amount and assured me that after the vehicle was examined completely by a body shop - if the finished amount was greater - they would pay THAT amount. Fortunately, Blvd. Body was one of their approved shops. Based upon a YELP review of my first choice I elected to instead, visit Blvd. Body. Whewww. Such courtesy, professionalism and thoroughness! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes with a date to return with the vehicle on a certain day. I was assured they would meet their completion date. . I took the car in on the proper day.. I received photos emailed to me as the de-construction and repair proceeded. I called 2 days prior to the promised day and they said it would be ready one day early. When I picked it up it looked brand-new, Every gap was in perfect alignment. The new paint and the replaced paint-striping was perfect. Nothing was missing. Nothing was overlooked. No little nuts or washers were to be found on the floor or in the trunk. It was spotless. I'm very pleased to report that it could NOT have gone more easily - no anxiety - no missed communication i.e Adam was always available to answer questions. Simply, a great experience. read more

Let me start by saying I don't give 5 star reviews, they always seem just as phony as the 1 star rants. I had the unfortunate luck to hit a deer 250 miles from home (the deer had it worse off) and had to leave my vehicle in Redding for 3 weeks. My insurance company recommended Blvd Body Shop. The customer service was outstanding. Adam West (not Batman) kept me informed through the process with updates and pictures, and gave me an accurate estimate of when to come back to town. He even picked me up at the airport when I flew back into Redding. My Honda Pilot looks like new and is running like a champ. A couple of years ago I was forced, by Gecko Insurance, to bring my F150 Ford Lightening to this body shop. The right front end was a little mashed. It took over 3 weeks to get it back. When I did I noticed that not only the right headlight but also the left was replaced. I looked through the truck and kept finding glass. Dumb me, I thought maybe a car next to mine may have had it's glass broke out. When I finally moved my seat forward there was A LOT of glass. I called the office and questioned them about the glass. The manager snickered as he told me that my truck had been vandalized and they need to replace some parts. I immediately contacted my resident Geico Insurance agent. He told me that there was no way that that happened since they would have filed a claim against my insurance!!! He was absolutely sure. Well my options to find out the truth, or to fix the messed up parts, like condensation in the headlamps, and the difference the gap between the grill and the hood and the grill and the bottom "spoiler"? My worst mistake was not getting in a wreck, but taking it to this body shop. I had a minor wreck which should have been easy to fix. When I arrived to pick up my car I noticed the paint didn't match, the bumper did not align and their was over spray. I was told it was not their fault, these mistakes were their prior to their work. I knew this was not true because the paint on my car matched perfect before and the only panel that did not match was the panel they worked on. The attendant tried to lie and say they did not take off the bumper. I then showed him the quote he gave me and pointed out the line item that stated they were taking off the bumper. The attendant said I was wrong and raised his voice at me and started yelling at me. The owner of the business then tried to lie to me, telling me that all cars have over spray behind the gas lid. Later I find out my license plate bulbs do not illuminate; I had to spend a few hours of my own time troubleshooting and reconnecting wires that they did not connect when they obviously took off my bumper. On top of all of this, it now takes at least 20 minutes for me to fill up my gas tank because the gas pump trips due to the gas not flowing fast enough into the tank. I know body work can be tough and everything is not perfect the first time, but as a body shop you have to realize this and own up to your mistakes. I was more upset by the terrible customer service than the horrific job. I would have been better off giving a kindergarten a paint brush. I do not want anyone to go threw this nightmare, that is why I am taking the time to write this review. read more

Very dissatisfied with this business. My truck is currently being repaired at another shop for the worj they preformwd. Work quality is very poor. Let us drive off there parking lot with a fender that didn't match up to the vehicle, bumper reinstalled out of alignment, charge insurance company for replacement pin strip but failed to install, had vehicle longer than anticipated, communication with customer and shop at best was far from satisfactory, repeatedly promised work to be complete only to push out more days. I wouldn't recommend this shop to my biggest enemy. read more

My car was estimated to be done September 9th. I had planned a trip the following day for a camping weekend with some friends and my boyfriend. Apparently the body shop got a part that wasn't "up to par" with their standards, so they sent it back and were waiting on a new part. NO ONE from the body shop called to inform me that that was the case. Instead, I called them.. quite frustrated with their poor customer service. If they would have called me to let me know the part wasn't going to be there till later, it wouldn't have been an issue. It's September 17th, and I still don't have my car. But thanks to me being quite angry and talking to BOTH the owners and an office worker... I've gotten updates on my car daily. I still don't think I should of had to yell at 3 people over the phone to get "updates" Poor customer service. My cars about two weeks late, or will be by the time I get it. I don't know what my car looks like, but I'm sure the work is up to my standards. I wouldn't refer a friend, or an enemy to this body shop. Go somewhere else! read more

Don't walk somewhere else; you should run. Also took car apart to try and stop it being towed away. So we had towed on flat bed. read more

I would give them 10 stars if I could. I walked right in without an appointment and got an estimate in about 10 minutes. I then got an appointment the next week. The car took longer than expected but they called me every step of the way so I knew exactly what was happening. Just meant I got to drive the rental car longer ;) I was nervous to see the results but I wanted to cry at how well they did. You could not tell that my car had even been damaged. They also cleaned my car too which was great! I will definitely be returning if I ever need more work done on my car. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!!! these people are unprofessional, rude, liars, and have caused me more problems than I started out with. I had my estimate done there by Thomas who works for Geico, I was reassured that that boulevard was a good shop so I went ahead and scheduled an appt to get it done. When i showed up to drop my car off they had no recollection as to who I was and they had nothing in their computer, wasting my time. They ordered the parts and rescheduled me for the next week. I should have walked away at this point. When I brought my car for my "new" appt, they immediately dismantled my car and left in it their lot with the doors off and wind and dirt blowing and my parts thrown in my back seat on my nice new leather. They called me for a week insisting that they MUST remove my rack from my new car so they could finish the repairs. After them saying this for days, calling me, bugging me, I came to see if it could be removed.. THE RACK WAS UNLOCKED THE WHOLE TIME.. No one even checked to see if it was removable for 5 days at least while my year old car got sandblasted by the shit flying around in their trashy car lot. (the guy who works the desk) assured me that they would be careful and not scratch my roof racks as I watched this dip shit try to unscrew my crossbars, the alan wrench scraping against my car.. So finally i get a call that my car is done, I go to see it and its dirty, half ass wiped down on the inside, a new scratch on my roof , 3chips in my hood and a nice little touch up paint job on the chips like someone used nail polish dabbed on to cover up the mistake. So my car is fixed from the original problem, but i am paying these assholes money to get a car with new damage, dirty, and they refuse to help me, the customer.. They refuse to reimburse me , detail my car, talk to me, call me back, do anything to make it better and they pretty much told me to fuck off saying that they didnt do any of the scratches or chips and shitty touch up on my hood. The owner also is no where to be found, leaving any unhappy customers in limbo. But hey they sent me a thank you card, hoping they served me with the best service possible, and they guarantee satisfaction. Unless theyre giving HJs in the back office, taking your car here is anything but a happy ending. read more
