Told them he had replaced the fuel injectors within the past year, lift pump within the past two years and believes it's most likely the pressure pump but does not have the scanner required to do the other diagnostics that need to be done. My boyfriend called around after dropping his truck off around 9 am. I sat like a fly on the wall listening. My BF asked about his truck the person on the phone sounded annoyed when they told him "I'm with a customer can you hold?" He came back on the phone and proceeded to tell my BF that they aren't really sure what the problem is but they think possibly 3 of the injectors failed and would have to charge around ballpark of 400$ to take them all out to test them, but it could be the pressure pump they don't know for sure. Long story short he called up Jefferson State diesel (JSD) where he had purchased the injectors to begin with. The friendly staff member answered, "Good afternoon, (introduced himself) and asked how he could help. He referred to my BF formally calling him Mr (and used his last name)." He was so professional far stretch from J and H performance. He informed my BF his injectors were under warranty and would be glad to help. My BF then called back J and H performance and explain to him that he would go ahead and pick up his truck. He asked what the charge would be. J and H performance told my boyfriend that they worked on his truck for four hours total. There was no diagnosis which is the whole point of bringing it in. They told him what he already knew. Apparently on the receipt there was only a few items that show what they had done which was hook up some scanners and they told him they worked four hours on his truck and charged $375. NO WAY When my bf told him he was very unhappy with that price considering there was no diagnosis.. the guy told him, "well what do you want us to charge you?" Then proceeded to get rude and state, "just come get your truck and don't come back here." My BF told him "oh no I don't expect anything for free. I know you did some work, I'd like to pay you for but 375$ is ridiculous!" My BF paid the full bill needless to say he won't be returning and I would not recommend them, myself personally, to anybody just based on what I had witnessed with my own eyes and ears. Initially, I had planned to drop off my vehicle on Tuesday but confirmed that Thursday would be the day for him to review it, when I notified him that the noise I thought was from the axles actually turned out to be from the U-joints. He stated that the review day was actually Thursday, not Tuesday. I told him that I'd call him back to confirm Tuesday or Thursday drop off, but clearly stated for sure on Thursday and that I would pay for his time. (I figured $1,000 to $1,500) to check out the vehicle. When I showed up on Wednesday, just to touch base about the Thursday drop-off, the owner immediately told me that he dropped me from his schedule, because I did not call to confirm. He expressed his personal opinion and became insulting and unprofessional. He accused me personally of being the reason his prices are going up, the reason he's "appointment only," and even the reason he doesn't answer his phone. He went so far as to say he didn't want to do business with me -- all because I supposedly didn't "call to confirm" Thursday, even though Thursday was already confirmed at the time of the U-joint/axle notification telephone call. Instead of acting professionally, for example "hey, you didn't call and I had to drop you from the schedule. I'd rather not do business if I can't trust you'll make the schedule, it wastes my time and I lose money" but he resorted to personal insults. His behavior was unprofessional, and extremely disappointing. I came here expecting honesty and mechanical expertise, not to have my integrity and personal character to be attacked. I just took the insults and kinda grinned in disbelief. If you value respectful treatment and professionalism, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. He knows who's writing this. I hope he takes this as an opportunity to grow rather and not resort to immediate insults to another man. An

Call mobile RV repair tech who suggested I call Redding Trailer Rental. Got towed here, and Steve and his crew got to work right away and had the bearing replaced and a new drum fitted in under 2 hours. I was about to head out and noticed a frayed 7-pin electrical cable, which they were able to replace in no time also. Cannot recommend this business highly enough.
