I Decided to go into my local store gave them the year make and model of my car. I came in to buy transmission fluid for my 2014 Chrysler 300s model 8 speed Automatic they sold me ATF-4 trans fluid which caused my engine light to come. I called and informed them that now I have to get my transmission which will cost me 800 dollars for their mistake and they offered me a 25 dollar give card the the store. can you explain to me how this is right. they tried telling me I sent my wife in to pick up the fluid which my wife was no involved in any of it I came into the store by my self and they didn't even want to admit they made a mistake. you guys should cover the cost of the a shop to drain and flush my transmission please contact me to get this resolved read more

I was looking for an certain brand of window shield wipers, which were stored online but not in the store itself? The item was offered in store. The staff couldn't find shit, I asked for assistance from the manager Bobbi, she did not shed any light on the situation at hand. She did not seem interested in our conversation, continue to cut me off when I was speaking. She was entirely rude during the whole encounter. I want to thank Dylan at O'Reilly auto parts in Redding California for coming out and helping us fix our rented trailer, that had an issue with wheelbearings disintegrating. After many failed attempts to have a repair man to come out to help us, we decided to call O'Reilly's auto parts. Dylan was kind enough to drive out to our location and pick up the wheel drum and take it all the way back to O'Reilly's to find the correct bearings. He soon returned with the correct replacement bearings and even brought the necessary grease. With a little coaching from Dylan, I was able to reinstall the wheel. I I took in a squeaking windshield wiper that I bought about six months ago but only recently opened. I told them that I couldn't even remember where I bought it, but I THOUGHT it was O'Reilly Auto Parts, and since it was just out of the box it shouldn't be squeaking. Even though I wasn't sure I bought it here, they didn't mind a bit! They took the wiper, showed me the replacements and switched a few pieces around until they got it working perfectly! I told them I'm not positive I bought it there, but that didn't stop them from being incredibly friendly, helpful, and going out of their way to fix my problem and treat me like a regular customer.... I just had the most incredible experience here! I'm gonna admit my main flaw... I know NOTHING ABOUT CARS. Being an autistic adult trans guy with an older cis brother I didn't get all the car education that he got from my dad so I've always been sooooo nervous going into any car place and looking like a silly goose. THANK THE UNIVERSE FOR STEPHANI! She is the nicest employee I have ever met! She was soooooooo sooooooo kind and helped me with getting the codes on my partners car read and then took so much time out of her day to actually teach me how to fix it and was incredibly patient and and never made me feel bad for not knowing. She even opened a new wrench off the shelf because I didn't have the right tools. She walked me through everything while I took so many notes. I feel so confident now driving away knowing that if this happens again, I know how to fix it! Her and her sister put on a workshop in April to help girls and LGBTQ young folks learn how to work on their cars and everything we were never taught. We came up with the name "GIRLS WHO CAR" (inspired by girls who code) and just laughed and I helped turn her crappy day into a better one. So long story short, thank you Stephani! Jerome is AMAZING! I had to purchase a battery for a work car. When I purchased the battery, Jerome patiently helped me purchase the correct battery for the car AND offered to install the battery AND offered to test the alternator. Unfortunately, I didn't have the car with me or I would have happily taken him up on that offer! THEN a month and a half later my place of work was auditing credit card statements and we realized I never turned in a receipt for this transaction. I went into the store and Jerome had no problem looking up the transaction and re-printing my receipt! HE SAVED MY DAY! Thank you Jerome!! You have gained a loyal customer! read more

The people working here are the reason why I will go back to I this store for all my automotive needs. I specifically worked with Brandon, and I hope that higher ups in the O'Reilly hierarchy reads this and reward him. He confirmed that the problem was the battery rather than the alternator and helped me with the right materials. But, he also saw I had my hands full with 2 young boys and since the store was not busy he replaced it for me. My older was interested and he answered his questions in a friendly manner. That meant the world to me- what he didn't know is I am a single mom and changing the battery in the dark with kids that had been in the car for 1.5 hours and were ready to eat was going to take much longer than what he did and was likely going to make it a rough night. Instead, my oldest said it was "the best day ever" because he got his questions about the car answered and he saw the engine (he loves hyperbole). The employees were very unhelpful and tried to rush me out of the door instead of helping me. We broke down on our way back from Washington. While waiting for the tow truck to arrive I called looking for the part we needed. This was on a Saturday evening and we found most parts stores closed. Recomend this store hands down and I dont even live in Redding! I'd come to this location every time if I didnt live in Los Angeles. I forgot the gentleman's name, but he was the older of the 2 employees working that day. So I'm on a road trip when my alternator gave out and took my battery with it in Shasta on the 5 (worse place to breakdown, but nice view of the lake), it was already 7 oclock at night and still 115 degrees when I needed a tow luckily they were open til 9. Got towed in they tested for the bad battery, loaned me the tools to replace it. Then tested my alternator to find out that the voltage regulator had burnt out. Sold me a new one and the tools I needed to replace it! This was all while the city was being evacuated due to the fires. There help and excellent service allowed me to fix my car enough to drive to weed, ca a safe enough distance away from the fires to find a truck stop where i could pull over and safely change my alternator! Although that break down caused me a 5 hour delay in my road trip I appreciate everything they did to help me and my family through that. Honestly we thought we were gonna get stuck in Redding and not be able to evacuate from the fires cuz it was late at night and I couldn't start my car. So I had a problem with my brake lights going out on me. Every time I turned my car off, the brake lights would remain on. I drove over to this location and told the guys what happened. They went out there and checked it out to see what it could have been and suggested a part. They also recommended that I unplug the battery once I got home so it wouldn't run out. They even showed me how to do it and gave me a sized part to take home so I would be able to do it myself. Definitely awesome of them. The next day I tried to fix it, and I found a piece of a part that had been broken off and it didn't look like it was related to what they gave me, so I went back in and showed them. They took a second look at it, and he said "It's not a $35 part that you need to replace, it's a $0.30 part"... He said it was something so small, that they would give me my money back, and they wouldn't charge me anything for the parts, or for them going out there to fix it for me themselves in the 100+ degree weather in the sun.
