Went in here to get a replacement battery and ingress waterproofing kit for a REVVL 4+ by TCL-yes, a crap phone, but my father uses it and doesn't need or want anything more-Instead of help BeavCuck & ButtBro stated that, "you can't even get batteries for those things, much less fix them". Yyyyeah, well, a 10 minute web search and purchase of said battery and ingress kit plus the 4 days shipping and 30 minutes of mostly applying gaskets later and it's fixed. Recently, my laptop needed a new battery. When I tried to get that taken care of at the well-known electronics chain where I bought it, they had me order the replacement battery. When I brought it in for my appointment, they told me they would have to send my laptop away in order to switch out the batteries and that this would take six to eight weeks. As a freelancer, this was not even an option for me (and to be honest, it's hard to imagine that anyone who uses their computer for work could do without it for so long), so they suggested I go to Batteries Plus. I have always had good experiences with them, so I did that, and while there, I found out that the battery I had ordered from the other store was the wrong battery. Evidently, the correct model number is not on the case but on the battery itself, which evidently the people at the other store didn't know. These guys ordered me the correct battery and told me they could make the swap in a day or less. In the process of extracting the battery from the laptop, some damage occurred to the screen. Batteries Plus ordered and installed a new screen for me free of charge. And the install took less than a day. At all times, they were friendly, helpful, and professional, and cognizant of the fact that this is a tool I need for work, not a toy. They ordered the correct parts, they let me know as soon as they arrived, and they totally took care of me. Batteries Plus is a chain, too, but the management at this location makes it feel like a personal, old-style mom-and-pop small business that is refreshingly responsive to their customers. I took my HP laptop to get the battery replaced. It was a while ago. Probably a year or so. I'm writing this review because they destroyed my computer and every time I use it I'm reminded of it. So I got my phone screen replaced here about 2 weeks ago and today it popped off and it cracked the screen. When I took it back to the shop (with photos for proof!) I was told there was nothing they could do and it wasn't covered under warranty. Now my phone has a glass protector and a case on it. It had no prior damage or cracks until the screen popped off. I just spent the last of my savings replacing it two weeks ago and now suddenly it breaks through now fault of my own and I have to cough up the money to fix it??? It was just "fixed" two weeks ago, why would the screen pop off???? Anyways go get your phone screen replaced somewhere else, and don't get screwed like I did. Absolute bullshit. read more

I went here yesterday to get my iPhone 11 screen repaired. The customer service was good, but once I got back home with it, I noticed something was off about the new screen. It no longer responded to my touch when I wanted it to turn on, and when I typed it did not pick up all the letters. I went back today and thankfully it was the same employees from yesterday. When I explained the issue to one of the gentlemen, he very shortly responded that their screens are not genuine Apple products and that whoever repaired my screen should have told me that (then he rudely said "they probably did"). I was in no way informed of this and would not have gone through with the repair had I known that. All they ended up doing was clean off my screen protector. I am incredibly upset about this entire experience and will never be returning to this establishment. read more

Brought my phone here to get work done on it they said they can fix my screen for $129. But also stated that they believe there's a bend in the frame and can offer no warranty. I find this to be his issue as this may mean that just they are not very good at what they do and don't want to back it up with a warranty. read more

Came here with a brand new IPhone that I unfortunately cracked the screen due to an accident. Brought it here and left with an iPhone that no longer had Face ID, could only use the phone on speaker because the main speaker no longer worked, and the top part of my screen doesn't work. To add the cherry on top the camera has a finger print on it. Whole reason I bought this phone was for the camera. Don't go here and if you do, go at your own risk. I would've/ should've paid more to get it done through Apple because now I have a once $1000 phone really worth nothing now. read more

Although the service was great at this location I am very disappointed in their advice. They recommended "their" brand CR123A 3v batteries for my Arlo security system. They also said that all their customers have had great success & long life with "their" brand battery rather than the other brand they carry. When I first bought the system the batteries they came with lasted about 3 months. I replaced the batteries on the 22nd & put them in he same place as before & one of them is ALREADY at 24% life & the others are at 72% & 84%. That is literally 6 days later. There is no difference in activity since getting this device & replacing these batteries. I will not be returning to buy these batteries again. 30$ every 2 weeks is unrealistic. read more

I was soooo happy to find a place that did same day phone repairs in Redding! Im a flat out retard with my phone, we're talking 2-3 screens in a year and two water damage incidents . These guys are top notch and the hours and location are SUPER convenient. I've brought my parent's first gen iPad in once thinking it needed a battery planning to leave it and just pick it up later and they called me before I even left the parking lot and said they were able to hard reset it after plugging it in. Being a melinnial- I definitely felt pretty stupid about this easy fix. The girl was super helpful and suggested I buy a new charging cord and/or bring in the charging cord they were using when I had a chance because she thought that's what it might be and let me leave it there to charge on their charger until I got off work. AWESOME SERVICE. They didn't even charge me. (Pun intended) The only slightly negative thing I have to say is I wish that they did just the glass replacements on iPhones and not the full glass/digitizer replacement. I can't find anywhere that does it in this area though and from what I understand it's a dicey repair. Bottom line is replacing your screen here is almost guaranteed to be less expensive than your insurance deductible and way quicker, plus you're getting back your and not a refurbed phone. Called about price and availability for a broken cell phone screen. They had in stock and said two hour turnaround. Got excellent service, help on a few ideas for lighting and will be back to have them program a key for my 2008 Charger. Overall I recommend them for cell phone repair/servicing, they tested function of phone before and after the screen replacement and I am satisfied with the work. I showed up to my appointment on time after driving 20 minutes from my home only to be told they couldn't guarantee that it would be finished today because of staffing shortages. I had my wonderments, how this would all play out... Almost a full year and a half ago, I purchased a Duracell AGM battery for my Harley Davidson motorcycle,,, At what I felt was a good price. Also I was pleased that their was a 2 year full replacement warranty... That I was hoping,, my battery would go past that 2 year mark, and then some. I would like to add that I have a touch of OCD when it comes to keeping my battery on a battery tender, faithfully,,, when I am not riding. To shorten the story a bit..a little less then a year and a half,,, my battery was having some starting quirks,, here and there. I recorded some of my first start ups of the day in my volt meter as it was cranking over...and it was in the low range, of 7 volts...and would charge right up to 13+ volts when the alternator would kick in.. To me this all pointed to a possible cell going bad under CCA. Batteries plus bulbs ran their own load test on the battery,,,, and notified me that the battery was defective... Batteries plus bulbs,,,, replaced this battery with a brand new one,,,at no charge.. Needless to say in our crazy world of today,,,, I was a happy customer,,,, and as a local consumer,,, I will be supporting Batteries plus bulbs,, anytime I can with repeat business.. read more

I use my phone a lot for work, critical matters, and it's frustrating when it freezes up or starts typing on its own. Tried bringing it back in but they said a little dent on the top of the phone was causing it.....a dent I had for two years without issue. BS. Apparently, my Arlo Security Cameras take a pretty obscure tiny expensive battery. The two gentlemen helping me were super fast and courteous. They knew a lot about the batteries and the devices that they are intended for. The best part, they don't talk down to anyone for any reason. DO NOT GO HERE. they take advantage of customers, over charge, and dont even do quality work. this place is AWFUL!! i took my samsung galaxy s7 to get the LCD light replaced and they told me it would cost 200$. because i needed my phone right away and the repair was set to be done in 2 hours i succumbed. when i got my phone back i noticed right away the Screen they used to replace the old one didnt fit properly and after only 8 days my phone stopped working again, and the LCD light went out AGAIN. the same problem i had when i took it. i called and they said they could repair it again but id have to pay for it. it didnt even seem worth it. so im just gonna write this bad review so you know DO NOT GO HERE. they are crazy expensive for ghetto quality work. and if they don't have the proper tools to fix it they just tell you it has "frame damage" or any other excuse to avoid giving you a warrenty. read more
