Great customer service! Very efficient and kind. I needed a new battery for my iPhone 11 Pro. The owner diagnosed the issue and had my phone repaired in less than 30 minutes. He is very honest and professional. It's clear that he is passionate about his business. The pricing was fair, and it was actually more affordable for me to bring my phone here than to bring it to the Apple store. There's also free wifi available to customers who need to wait in the lobby for their repair to finish. I would return for any future repairs! read more

Second time I wanted to use lightning phone repair. Called first and discussed my broken iPad glass. He asked a bunch of questions and said it would be better to replace However the iPhone glass case was replaced the same day after a call and his price was in step with other stores The value was he was available and a nice clean environment. I dropped my Samsung one too many times and was torn between buying a new phone or repairing the screen. I decided to go with a repair--supporting local businesses is what it's all about--and I'm really glad I chose this shop. The owner, John, was super professional, and as the name of the shop suggests, their service was lightning fast. My phone looks and works like new again. Thank you for the excellent customer service and quality work--I'll definitely be recommending you to others! read more

I've been here a few times, it's friendly and very quick. But when I took my phone in today a little kid stole my phone case off the counter while my phone was being repaired! LMAO. To be fair it was sparkly & a pretty cool case... I should have kept a better eye on it i suppose!! :) I told the worker, it's not a big deal i just bought it for like $10 off Amazon last week. But he gave me $40 off my new screen anyways. Thank you for that! I rly appreciate it. Thank you random little kid for the laugh! read more

Been taking my phone here for the last 6ish years. Cracked screens, new Batteries , even used phones. I drive 45 minutes for his services and will continue. John is fast and their prices very reasonable. Good human too! Thanks John read more

Was out here and vacation and needed an urgent phone repair. Lightening was able to replace my screen, and I really appreciated the owner giving me his honest opinion - there were 3 screen replacement options, but that he wouldn't spend more than necessary if a new phone was a consideration anytime soon. I appreciated his honesty and loved the quick turn around time. I'd definitely use them again and let all my friends in the area know. read more

iPad screen replacement. Great price, quick and friendly service. Did an unscheduled drop off and received it back two days later.

I was greeted immediately by John. He listened patiently ( I didn't explain the issue with my phone particularly clearly). He immediately took my phone and began working on it. He was so efficient I was astonished. I had taken my iphone to another repair shop with unsatisfactory repair options and less than stellar service. John was very professional and personable. I will definitely return to Lightning Repair for any future repair needs! Thanks for your help John! read more

Wow. Lightning Phone Repair was super quick. I'm a firefighter and broke my screen while working a wildfire nearby. Very responsive when I initially reached out through yelp. The business is clean and professional. I dropped and cracked be screen on my phone and was able to walk in the next day and get my screen replaced in under 30 minutes! read more

Wow! I dropped my iPhone and the screen went green. I brought it here and within 15-20 minutes I had a working phone for such a reasonable price. Elsewhere would have cost me more, took longer and without any reassurance of my device working. (I have gone elsewhere and my answer was hmmm maybe and we'll charge you regardless). He has a very clean store, with great customer service. Don't go anywhere else to get your smartphone fixed. Someone was leaving with android looking brand new and pleased when I walked in. I can't convey enough how excellent his service is. My husband, baby and I came in to pick up my phone and he bragged about his family and new shop opening soon next door to fix gaming consoles and remotes. Seriously don't go anywhere else in Redding to get your phone repaired. read more

I needed to have my iPhone 11 Pro Max fixed because it was not accepting any charges. I thought the phone needed a charging port, but it turned out that it only needed a another extension cord with a new wire. John is the owner of the store and he did a great job and I was happy with the results and my problem was fixed so I have my phone back. Customer service is everything and that's what makes a business successful and then this case John set the perfect example. read more

I should have reviewed these guys looong before this! I have the worst luck. To the degree that I must've been someone awful in a past life. If it CAN go wrong, it will for me. Hence, I have a lot of cracked screens, missing sim cards, or new phones that suddenly stop working *usually right when I needed it most--like for a long-awaited interview* Enter Lightning Phone Repair, if it wasn't for their amazingly fast and low-priced services, I'd be phone-less and even more screwed than usual. But they are always there to pick up thr pieces from my latest phone accidents and get my cell working again. Thank you, thank you, thank you! read more

Came in for the Black Friday deal on screen repairs and battery replacement. Spent $130 for a new screen and a new battery. Speedy, friendly and nice. Good price. Can't ask for more than that. read more

Called up Lightning iPhone Repair as my iPhone 12 wasn't connecting well when plugged in. Got a very good price on a replacement connector. He quickly checked his inventory and let me know he has the part in stock AND would give me a Veteran's Discount. When I arrived he looked at the connector, cleaned it out with a microscope, and sent me on my way with a working connector at ZERO cost. I tried to give him $20 and he refused it. I have found THE place to take my family's iPhones for repair. read more

The service was great and I was able to get my phone fixed and looking brand new John is super helpful and it was very affordable Paid 140$ instead of having to buy a new one which would be 800+. I thought for sure I had broken the screen on my phone. I heard about John's super service so I drove up from Red Bluff. It wasn't the screen, just the screen protector. Whew! John put a new one on and I was out the door in less than 30 minutes! He was super nice and respectful. That was the best experience I've had with ANY phone repair service ever. read more

First off I had to get my back screen replaced on my iPhone 12 pro max a few weeks ago which I already left a review for and then lo and behold of course another issue arose. I went in on 3 separate occasions and this man was SO patient with me. spent time actually addressing my needs instead of just saying it needs this and this like most other places do just to take your money. I am beyond thankful for this man's business and I would never refer anyone to anywhere else. youll feel like family after a few visits here. haha. again super nice, patient, honorable, and just a very humlbe human being using his work and skills to benefit and serve others. If you're reading this, like I said before "one person gives freely, yet gains even more." I will be back. :) read more

I contacted John because my iPhone mic was not working for phone calls or certain apps, and also because the back glass was completely shattered. John worked with me on my schedule and went out of his way to resolve both issues. He was also communicative with the timeline on the fix. Hopefully I don't break my phone again but if I do, I'll come back here. read more

Absolutely the best phone repair in town. Very fast and efficient service. Fair prices so it's not like you might as well. Buy a new phone instead of having it repaired. Couldn't be happier with the service and John is so great to work with. read more

Was in the area doing some camping and fishing, and my phone had an unfortunate meeting with a trout and the rocks in the creekbed. I can't believe I found a local shop that was competent and speedy in getting my phone repaired before I had to hit the road. Super fast and honest service. read more

I definitely recommend this place. The owner was very professional, understanding, and good at communicating with me. When I had a situation with my son's iPad after the owner repaired it. He didn't ignore me and wanted to help me fix it. He ended giving me partial refund without hesitation.. it's been about 3-4 months and I haven't any problems with the iPad so I decided to call Lightening Repair, to see if I can stop by and give him back the partial refund back but he said it was okay and that he appreciated it. I want to publicly apologize to the business owner for having trust issues. I just wanted to make it right with him because he's a genuine human-being. I can tell that he loves what he does. read more

I asked 4 different business for a quote for my iPad screen replacement and they all quoted me $25+ more than what Lightning Phone Repair quoted me. I paid a deposit to order the replacement screen on a Wednesday and it was in the next day and he was able to replace it same day. John was super helpful and nice!
