Wow, how lucky are we to have found this great place?! Stopped for gas north of Redding & noticed bumper was coming off the camper, called around to welding shops, no luck. Did a different search & found RTC. Called up, gave a quick description, Steve said, "come on in!" Got there 20 min later, backed in & Clint got to work. Not a bad wait for the job, able to take dogs out for a stretch. Bonus...Suberama truck pulled in to deliver some sandwiches & they opened up to make us a quick & tasty sub! Now off for more adventures up north. Thanks a bunch RTC!!! read more

They got me in right away for tires and a small repair when I had a problem when passing through town. The parts are fairly priced, and they have both budget and high-quality parts in stock. They provided more value than they charge me in labor helping me diagnose brake problems and a bent axle. read more

Steve and his crew saved my ass ! Had a wheel bearing burn out on I5 (spotted in time due to trucker flashing me till I pulled over). Call mobile RV repair tech who suggested I call Redding Trailer Rental. Got towed here, and Steve and his crew got to work right away and had the bearing replaced and a new drum fitted in under 2 hours. I was about to head out and noticed a frayed 7-pin electrical cable, which they were able to replace in no time also. Cannot recommend this business highly enough. Very reasonable price for work done. Friendly, fast efficient service. read more

This review is solely on the character of David as i haven't been into their location. My company is conducting paperwork for him and it seems no matter which way we turn, we have run into obstacle after obstacle. David has been completely understanding and gentle the entire way. His patience and kindness are unmatched. He reminds me of an Elton John song and i wish more people were like him. Considerate, kind and understanding. Thank you for your business David. read more

Headed out of town for the Fourth of July. Had brand new trailer to us, lose a rim and brake drum between Red Bluff and Redding. Limped our way to their facility. Both of the brothers took great care of us and got us on the road in about four hours. Very fairly priced and appreciate them fitting us in. Good honest guys. read more

Excellent customer service. I needed help with disabling my SUV's rear sensor that mistakenly thought I was towing a trailer instead of a bike rack. Employee that helped me was courteous and non-judge mental. Highly recommend and appreciate that they open prior to 8am. read more

I own an enclosed 24' car trailer. The roof started coming off and I had no clue where to go. The trailer manufacturer just recommended I find someone local. I came on here and I found Great reviews for Steve and his team at Redding Trailer Center. I called in and he told me they could help me. I brought the trailer and left it with him and they did a great job at repairing it and were very fair in their pricing. I would highly recommend them and would definitely come back if any further repairs were needed. read more

This place sets the bar for customer service. My family and I were on vacation 340 miles from home. My boat trailer had a flat and the tire center close to where we were camping said the rim was the source but couldn't get one. I called here and Dave helped me. That's not where it stopped. I would have been willing to drive 80 miles to get the wheel but he offered to meet me on Sunday (mind you the shop is closed. So his day off) to get me the wheel and tire I needed. He did this so I would miss time with my family When I tried to offer him some money on Sunday for his time, he refused. He said, "This is just part of the business. Gotta take care of eachother" I now will be ordering 3 matching nice wheels and tires from him and having them shipped to me. And next time I need my trailer serviced I might make a weekend of it and make the 680 mile round trip. Thanks Again Dave. You are a giant among men read more

While driving from Trinity Lake to Lodi during a two week camping trip, one of the wheels on my boat trailer fell off while stripping the lug studs. I stopped into the Redding Trailer Center unannounced and showed Steve the damage. Steve explained replacing the hub was an easy job and got someone on it right away. An hour later, I was back in the road with a new hub and bearings. If I lived in the Redding area, I'd use them for everything. If you're in their area and need service on your trailer, I highly recommend them. read more

What luck I found this place. I was fishing in a remote part of Shasta County when my boat trailer bearings, hub and rotor broke. They not only had the parts we needed, the staff in the parts and service departments were extremely helpful. They even helped clean up the spindle on the axle and let us borrow some tools so we can reassemble the bearings, hub and rotor. They deserve 10 Stars. I highly recommend them for all your trailer parts and service read more

My boat trailer needed some electrical wiring repair I stop in Thursday morning 11/5/20 just as they open, originally I thought it was a simple connector change well I was wrong Steve and his technician found out that my wiring towards the back of the trailer was also burnt/melted within a few hours they had me back on the road, If you need any repair give Steve a call, Dave in the parts department is very knowledgeable and have tons of parts in stock, will definitely come back for all my trailer needs. read more

I purchased a old trailer that I needed to rebuild. It needed new axles, and leaf springs, it needed everything. I went to Redding Trailer Center and talked to Dave. He didn't make me feel stupid. He listened to all my concerns and we ordered axles for it. We came up with a problem with those axles and he worked with me to get the right axles. He was polite, he was helpful. It was like I was the only customer. I am very pleased with him. Out of five stars I give them 10. They are now my trailer people and I recommend anyone to call them up and see that they will be impressed with their customer service. Thank you Redding Trailer Center. Glen read more

Customer service and satisfaction is #1 at Redding Trailer Center. I have been purchasing my parts from them for a while. Recently I replaced the brakes on my 3 axle fifth wheel trailer coach. Traveled to Arizona and discovered a broken spring in one of my new brake assemblies, called Dave at Redding Trailer to get the part number to ensure I was replacing with the same assembly. He did one better, he dropped shipped a replacement to me in Arizona. Mechanical failures happen, but what happens after a problem arises is the difference between Redding Trailer Center and places like camping world and blue dog RV and other corporate RV dealers. Redding Trailer Center is the only place I'll trust my RV parts and mechanical service to when I'm in the area. read more

This place is awesome. My utility trailer's ramp broke and Steve not only repaired it but also reinforced the back to prevent it from happening again, all for less than originally quoted and faster than expected. I couldn't recommend them more highly! read more

I am glad to see atleast a few others have had a good experience at this shop. It would give me great pleasure to also leave a good review, unfortunately i can't. This is atleast my second if not third experience dealing with Steve. He came across as a cocky anal arrogant ass the first time i dealt with him, and succeeded in doing so everytime thereafter. Steve, i've never complained about your prices ever, must i also pay for an attitude? That's just for starters! I also tried my best to convey the fact that i felt i had multiple issues with my trailer, please inspect the entire trailer thoroughly, and get it all the first time. Since i left his shop, i put maybe a couple miles on the trailer just going home. Luckily, my employee and i inspected the trailer the next morning before taking it out on a small job about two miles down the road, and we found two cracks in the suspension hanger, one in each corner at the frame, on the opposite side where they welded the other hanger. By the time our trailer came back about four hours later and maybe four miles roundtrip, the hanger was ripped half way across. According to Steve, i couldn't prove any of those cracks were present when my trailer was in his shop approximately 6 miles earlier. Are you kidding me Steve? Is this to be considered a professional response from a professional shop? I admit when i called Steve about this, i wasn't as pleasant over the phone as i could have been, but i also knew i was going to receive a double barrel dose of his anal arrogance. How would you react given ALL the same circumstances. As a result, and i knew it was coming, "i think you need to find another trailer shop". Don't worry Steve, i was already prepared to tell you the same thing, you just beat me to the punch!! read more

So I was on vacation heading to Shasta Lake. Tire blew and pulled my hydraulic brakes apart, bent my fender and somehow my shackles got flipped. Steve in service got me on right away and gave me a great deal on the repairs and brakes were back up quickly. Completely recommend!! read more

These guys immediately helped me with my RV battery issue after I had been stranded. Very helpful!

These guys are hands down the hardest and fastest working group of guys I've seen at a repair shop. I called them Friday at 2:30pm with a broken leaf spring on my bass boat trailer. I had a tournament the next morning. I told them my situation and they said get here ASAP. When I pulled in, before I could get out of my truck someone asked 'leaf spring?' I said yep, then they responded 'put it right here!' I backed in my trailer and they started working on it immediately! I'm so thankful for their customer service and eagerness to get my trailer fixed so I would be able to fish my tournament. I highly recommended these guys and will use them myself in the future whenever needed! read more

I have been to a lot of places for services, and the Redding Trailer Center is the best service and customer service experience I have ever had. Just moved to Redding about four months ago and selected Redding Trailer Center based on their Yelp reviews. Steve is to be commended for his service and what a great attitude. My cost for the service was very low, I need to go back and ask if they charged me enough to cover the costs. Redding Trailer Center will get my business every time. Thanks so much. Took my patio boats Zeeman trailer for a safety inspection and to repack my wheel bearings. It cost me $780.00 as I wanted no problems when I picked my boat up from Bridge Bay as I am a woman and did not want to get stuck on the side of the road. I picked the trailer up from Redding Trailer and immediately went to get my boat out of the water. As soon as we loaded the boat and got to the top of the boat ramp I noticed all six tires were bulging and one was almost flat. I tried to go really slow to the repair shop at Bridge Bay to put air in the tires and one of the tires came off the rim. I called LesSchwab to help with the tires and when they arrived I was told that all 5 tires that was still on the rim were at least 20 PSI low on air and they had to replace the one that came off the rim as it had pinched it while trying to get to the air. It cost over $200 for the new tire and the emergency visit. I called Steve regarding why the tire pressure wasnt checked when they were doing the safety check and wheel bearings and he said it had and that he didn't have any an explanation for me. Didn't offer reimbursement and really didn't seem to care.. Wow... After spending that amount of money for a measley boat trailer thats the thanks I get. I know lots of truckers and they will definetly all hear my story. read more
