Almost crying, I said 'forget it, don't come, I'll figure it out myself. So I picked up the phone at 5:00am, alone on a dark street and called Twin View who I used once before. The quote was a 'normal price for the service' the response time was fair, and they got it done. I paid out of pocket and my insurance will reimburse me for it. In the future I will skip 'roadside assistance' who is a nightmare and calls rude expensive places, ( that charge MORE than the reasonable rate, and I will just pick up the phone and call Twin View.

I asked him to check the battery, because if that is the problem, it's an easy fix. He stated he did not have a battery tester, so he towed it to the KIA dealership. The service department said it could be a week before they even look at it! I find it hard to believe that a towing company can't test a battery before towing. Disappointing service.

They finally came and were up there a long, truck running i though he was loading it. I drove up there but truck was in the way, no place to park. I backed all the way down. Then another huy came from Keiths and said he was taking over. I was telling him the options for parking at my house. He told me to go on home, he'd be there soon. I waited at home probably another 45-50 minutes. I called the Office. He told me they didn't have the keys and didn't have time to do it they were too busy! I was there with the keys the whole time! Neither driver asked for the keys! I said "I've got the keys, he told me to go home, I'll be right there!" He told me they'd already left there and didn't have time now. I had a deadline and had to get it out of there. Anyhow. That wasted three hours and I had to leave early the next day. It delayed my trip. I asked them to tow it the next day and said I'd like it done without charge since the night before was such a fiasco. They wouldn't make it right. I was not being unreasonable at all.

My husband met Frankie, the owner, and talked to him for a while. Frankie and several technicians test drove the van and checked all possible problems. All I have to say is, I must have gotten PTSD from my experience with this shop "Quality Auto…read moreRepair" in the past because as I look for the best deal on tires, I happen to run across advertisement for them and decide to read their reviews and Oh my God some of them were almost exactly what I went through with them which sent shivers down my spine.... Here I thought when they packed up and left their Hartnell shop that they left town all together... Only it seems these people packed up and just moved across town to a new location for a fresh start with the same quality of service, "POOR" no pun intended... One reviewer says it was recommended by the tow truck driver to go to this shop and that's funny because that's exactly how I ended up at this shop for my awful experience and I as well had a feeling that the tow truck driver and the owner of this business were friends... This tow truck driver should be a little more careful with his referrals because his boss might not like him doing that.... I learned a lot from this experience, one of which is you don't need a certificate to open automotive repair shop unless you do break and light inspections, or smog certification... Anything else you can just wing it and hope for the best

If you have any towing needs, I can't say enough good things about All Car & Truck Towing. They put our mind at ease and ensured our coach was safely secured at Freightliner before closing out the ticket. A huge thank you to David and Kevin

We were headed home to Southern California from Seattle when the battery light turned on and our battery died near Redding around 7pm. Thank goodness we found Roy on yelp! He came out to our hotel to diagnose the car later that night and returned the next day with parts to fix the alternator. We were back on the road by lunchtime. Roy being a mobile service was such a god send for us as we were traveling with 2 kids and a large dog. We didn't have to Uber back and forth from an auto shop to the hotel and back again which cut out so much stress from an already stressful situation. Tips: I would recommend texting Roy if he doesn't pick up. Depending on the time of day, he can be a one man show and not able to pick up the call right away.

I bought very expensive aftermarket bulbs but discovered the front bumper must be removed to change the light housing which I also wanted to replace. I saw this body shop had high stars on Yelp so I called to ask if they would perform the work. Their immediate response was "no" and "we don't do that kind of work and only install OEM components." I kindly asked " do you recommend anyone else that will do this work for me?". Immediate "nope, you'll just have to call around" They were about as helpful as a broken fence post and could care less in my opinion. My next phone call was to Underhood Automotive. Immediately helpful and professional. Chris said they do this kind of work all the time and install DOT legal headlights on older Shasta County Search and Rescue vehicles. Every single question I asked was answered. I live 4 hours away from Redding so coordinating this was somewhat of a Challenge. Chris even told me my mom's car had loud squeeking brakes and he would inspect those as well. Strong Automotive has high stars so I'm guessing their body work is pretty good but customer service is also very important and in this department, they have a long way to go.
