I was leaving a doctor's app in Redding when my van refused to start, i called Kieth's and in 30 minutes my van was being towed 53 miles to my home. Quick, competent and a reasonable price. Call them If you need a tow. read more

I had an estimate on towing my box truck by Keiths when they came to do a AAA roadside. It's a dually so AAA wouldn't tow it. I scheduled the tow for yesterday. They finally came and were up there a long, truck running i though he was loading it. I drove up there but truck was in the way, no place to park. I backed all the way down. Then another huy came from Keiths and said he was taking over. I was telling him the options for parking at my house. He told me to go on home, he'd be there soon. I waited at home probably another 45-50 minutes. I called the Office. He told me they didn't have the keys and didn't have time to do it they were too busy! I was there with the keys the whole time! Neither driver asked for the keys! I said "I've got the keys, he told me to go home, I'll be right there!" He told me they'd already left there and didn't have time now. I had a deadline and had to get it out of there. Anyhow. That wasted three hours and I had to leave early the next day. It delayed my trip. I asked them to tow it the next day and said I'd like it done without charge since the night before was such a fiasco. They wouldn't make it right. I was not being unreasonable at all. read more

This place felt super sketchy and clearly money-hungry. My car was towed, and when I went in to ask how much it would cost to pick it up the same day, they gave me one price. Since the car wasn't registered in my name, they sent me to RPD to get a release form. RPD told me I needed a notarized letter because the actual owner was out of town. I called Keith's Towing to ask if they'd accept the notarized letter, and they said no--they still wanted a release form. I asked to speak with a supervisor, and some woman just hung up on me. Later, RPD contacted them directly, and suddenly their attitude changed. Clearly, they weren't expecting to be held accountable. When I finally went back to pay, the price they gave me earlier had mysteriously dropped. Whole situation felt dishonest and shady. Definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone--they're a joke. read more

Thanks to Anthony for doing such a careful, thoughtful job of towing my car - you can tell how much pride he takes in doing a great job - he took time to make sure to properly secure everything. Kudos to him and Keith's Towing for getting me situated. They are ultra professional, definitely highly recommended! read more

I've used Keith's Towing twice--once when my car broke down and again when I locked my keys inside after several failed attempts to get in myself. Both times, the team was incredibly courteous, kind, and, most importantly, they were nonjudgmental, which is important to me as a female knowing the automotive repair and towing industries are filled with men who probably know better than I do how to prevent car problems. Their rates are very reasonable, and the service is fast and professional. I highly recommend making them your first call when you are in the same or similar situation as I was in. read more

Josh at Keith's Towing in Redding, California, went above and beyond when our engine failed on Highway 299. He towed us 130 miles and made what could have been a stressful situation much easier. He was friendly, professional, and even gave us a heads-up that our engine should be covered under an extended warranty--something we wouldn't have known otherwise! We were heading home after a long trip to SoCal for a family emergency, traveling with our two dogs, and Josh made sure we were comfortable the whole way. Excellent service and a genuinely great guy. Highly recommend Keith's Towing if you ever find yourself in need! read more

I only give 5 stars on rare occasions, but Keith's Towing certainly deserves it. On 10/20/2023 I had a blow out on the left front tire of my Mercedes SL. I was 15 miles from Redding, CA on a road trip and was able to contact AAA for service. They immediately contacted Keith's Towing and Josh was dispatched to provide towing service to me. He came within 20 minutes. I thought that was super quick, because I was stranded on the side of the road. Josh, the tow driver was friendly, courteous and professional. We got the vehicle loaded and delivered to a tire store in Redding within an hour, which was great. I can't say enough about Keith's and the reliable, expeditious response! Josh was GREAT and I can't thank him enough. A job well done. read more

Break down time to confirmation call to pickup was 20 mins on a Saturday. Drivers name was jason he was amazing taking care in every step of the towing experience. Performed a walk around with me before and after tow, driver was very experienced in his trade and it showed. He has a very friendly personality engaging in conversation the entire duration of the drive of the tow and making sure to drop the truck where I needed it when we arrived at my house. A very good experience with Jason. I would highly recommend Keith's towing for your roadside needs. Big thank you to Jason with Keith's towing for turning a bad situation into a great experience and getting my truck home in a timely manner with great professionalism read more

Terrible money grabbing company. First giving wrong information about releasing my son's car (a minor) delaying release. Charging extortionate rates, and service fees (because there is no other option). I was told by Keith's towing that rates are set by local law enforcement, but not so on speaking with Sheriff's office. Money grabbing company with no regard for people, beware. read more

It was just after midnight last Wednesday night.... 3 friends and I were en route to Portland for a Conference.... About 18 miles north of Redding we blew a tire on our van in the middle of nowhere on the shoulder of highway 5 right at Shasta Lake. The driver had roadside assistance with his insurance and tried calling them.... They were unable (or unwilling) to even find our location. After a few minutes I called AAA in Redding.... Got a call back almost immediately from Josh from Keith's Towing.... He said "I know where you are.... I'll be there in 10 minutes!". He was! Long story short.... We went from a scary and dangerous situation to a guy (Josh) who towed us to a safe place and changed the tire. In the wee hours of the 4th of July! He even texted us the next morning to make sure we were safe and on our way. We were blown away by his 'above and beyond' can do attitude and follow up. Thank you AAA. Thank you Keith's Towing, but mostly, Thank you Josh! read more

Today my wife had the worst experience with kieths towing. The drivers name was Mathew. He was called for a flat tire. He showed up and was rude from the start,he began to pick the front of the car up amd was going to tow it on the flat tire/rim.my wife proceeded to tell him that she bought that was a bad idea mean while 2 other people were watching this happen and told him that this was wrong. So Mathew the little man that he is began yelling/cursing at my wife.doped the car on the ground and drove off. I called kieths towing and began telling them what happend ,while doing this he put me on hold and when he came back on the phone he proceeded to tell me that they won't send out another truck because one of the people who saw this happen called and cursed out the dispatch . Who runs a company that curses out women and not help someone in need. All I can say is they are cowards and skinless people who should be ashamed of themselves. Truly disapointed read more

I called these guys, and they were at my house to tow my truck to Crown Motors. When the arrived (in ten minutes), one of the guys asked me what was wrong with the truck, and I told him I had somehow activated the "Theft" mode by using the non-transponder key, and the engine wouldn't turnover. He asked for my key, went over and played with the door lock for a few seconds, then put the key in my ignition--and the engine started right up. I was amazed! He called his boss to get the cost, and the boss told him no charge, but remember them the next time I needed a tow. I will certainly remember them, and will use no other tow company in town. After all, they were going to get $110 for the tow, but chose instead to help me out, which cost them the entire amount. Thank you, Josh, and Keith's Towing. I'll remember you next time! read more

Every time I have ever used Keith's, they have been great. Very responsive, and all the guys have been super helpful.

I just want to say huge thank you to Dennis at Keith's towing. He was responsive, quick, kind, helpful and went above and beyond. We blew a trailer tire out on 299 and within 30 minutes was out to help change it. Within 3 minutes back on the road we blew another tire. Dennis turned right around and was able to change out the second tire. Not only did he quickly help with that but he made sure we turned around safely / followed us back off 299 to Redding. Thank you so much! What a wonderful company and excellent service member! read more

Keith's towing sucks!!! They care less with damage caused by an employee... even if it's $20 for new lug nuts, the owner was informed Friday that I had called decided not to call back. And when I did finally call back he didn't care and told me there was no way that the damage was caused by his driver which is a lie I was willing to take the L on the lug nuts but to not even be honest was the part I didn't appreciate.. fuck you read more

...Terrible customer service. A shop owner was evicted and they towed my vehicle without my consent or knowledge..they can't even provide me any details because all of their paperwork is done with pen and paper..sad..they are one of the biggest towing co. In Redding also...funny they said they don't record LP#s or VINs when they tow vehicles. I call BS. I signed the tow consent paper in the past, I know what's there. I even told them they towed my vehicle 3 times last year through triple AAA and they were useless. I asked to speak to someone else, and "Connie" put me on hold forever instead of helping me. You guys suck. I already lost my truck...least you could do is provide phone service. read more

Thank you, Thank you! Dennis of Keith's Towing helped us out so much mid-day on a big holiday weekend. We were towing critical support equipment up to the Hirz Fire above Lake Shasta when we had a complete blow out on the NB 5. Dennis came out and went way above and beyond to help. He had to come back out a second time about 2 hrs later to complete the tire change. He was there waiting for me to return with the new tire. And thank you for not over charging because of the holiday weekend. They even gave us a discount because we were helping their community with the fires, we appreciate that break very much, it's been a hell of a start to Fire season! Thank you, read more

I had them assigned from AAA and the driver was the most awesome and respectful person, he went above and beyond. The wait was pretty short and he brought the truck from Redding to Red Bluff and back the flat bed in and was able to get the truck exactly where it was completely out of the way and still easy to access to fix. My son's truck drive shaft broke down and I called AAA at about 8:30 AM Monday morning and they dispatched Keith's Towing to our home where it was parked, not drivable. Keith's Tow Driver Jeff arrived with a new Hydraulic Flatbed tow truck at exactly 9:05 AM, their precise ETA. Jeff loaded my son's truck up and had it secure for transport to a mechanic shop on Center Street in short order. We followed Jeff in my car to the shop. We were both very impressed with Jeff's service, professionalism, and courtesy. I will insist on this company responding next time I need a tow truck in the vicinity of Redding, California. This is why I renew my AAA Auto Club Membership every year! Thank you so much Jeff! You are the man! T. Miller read more

Yesterday, I had my vehicle towed in for repair. As a member, I called AAA and the local contract is Keith's Towing. They have been in business here for years. Its the the first time my vehicle has been towed, but I just want to thank the driver Jonathan for the quick service. I was surprised AAA did not ask for a review, but I am please to offer one read more

I have been sent a truck from Keith's towing, through AAA, every time I have needed a tow in recent memory. It has never been a good experience. In the height of the pandemic we had a drive who refused to wear a mask. Management was uninterested when I called. We have had another a driver refuse to tow us when we requested he wear a mask, and again management didn't care. The last time I had to call AAA they sent Keith's towing yet again and I am horrified to see the truck windows decorated with a thin blue line flag. I didn't say anything but the driver, once he saw my #blacklivesmatter bumper sticker, could not have been more rude. Now I get this is Redding, and I have low expectations in general but we are evolving whether you like it or not. Any business who fails to see this is doomed. I will push my car alone before I ever allow AAA to send Keith's towing again. Edit: I will add that I no longer have a AAA membership. I am using https://www.betterworldclub.net/ Fo anyone interested in our planet and supporting causes that matter I highly recommend them!! read more

I'm really glad that AAA contracts with Keith's because I would hate to have to use someone else. They are prompt, courteous, and make a stressful situation much easier to manage. My husband had a flat earlier this week, and wouldn't you know it, I got a few screws in my tire just two days later. Both times, the technicians who can to help us (Larry and Josh) were friendly and quick, even taking time to answer questions for us and our curious kiddo. Dennis came out after my tire was patched to put it on, and he was just as helpful and friendly as Larry and Josh. I appreciate their service immensely, and I can see why Keith's has held the AAA contract for over 30 years. read more
