After being utterly disgusted with my 'roadside assistance' company through my insurance. Followed by a very frustrating, expensive, quote, and phone call from a different tow company. Almost crying, I said 'forget it, don't come, I'll figure it out myself. So I picked up the phone at 5:00am, alone on a dark street and called Twin View who I used once before. The quote was a 'normal price for the service' the response time was fair, and they got it done. I paid out of pocket and my insurance will reimburse me for it. In the future I will skip 'roadside assistance' who is a nightmare and calls rude expensive places, ( that charge MORE than the reasonable rate, and I will just pick up the phone and call Twin View. read more

My KIA TELLURIDE had no power, Geico called for tow service to this company. The man who came out put a charger on the battery and was able to at least put the car in reverse to get it out of my garage. I asked him to check the battery, because if that is the problem, it's an easy fix. He stated he did not have a battery tester, so he towed it to the KIA dealership. The service department said it could be a week before they even look at it! I find it hard to believe that a towing company can't test a battery before towing. Disappointing service. read more

Ask them to write a report on your car ( EVERY TIME) , you'll see why. Car broke down for alternator problems,my insurance called Twin View Towing, they came out with an under lift , the driver hit the bumper twice with the yoke before he could get the car hooked. After the driver adjusted the the aim and finally got the car hooked , the liquid of the radiator starting coming out. The driver was rude to my wife and father-in-law ( that was trying to talk to him with his broken english) , he was lucky I wasn't there !! Now we are dealing with the insurance , THERE IS NO REPORT DONE. So ...no report no damage, they knew not to write it so there is no paper trail, you should be ashamed of yourself !! We will talk to you soon, you guys are dealing with a guy full of tenacity, I will came after you. BY THE WAY GO TO J & L TOWING they are a 5 Star Review Company ( this is a review I wrote 2 month ago ) My car was towed after being rear ended. When we needed to pick up our belonging we apprehended that the car was parked in a car yard in Cottonwood ( 17 miles from Redding ). I expressed them that i expected the car to be in Redding since the tow driver assured me of that. J&L went an extra miles and sent one of their employees to collect our belongings , they calle me whe they were collecting and they deliver it to my business,I can not say more good words. I've used TWIN VIEW TOWING at least five times the last four years since I've lived here in Reading. Every time ... I'm talking EVERY time, they go out of their way to make it better for me in a dire situation. They respond rapidly - they know what they're doing - they bring the right equipment - and there are no failures; as far as my experience with Twin View Towing goes. Our Ford F-250 full of Costco groceries in The Redding Ca would not crank. Oh no! Called Geico and they hooked us up with a local company in Redding, and within 15 minutes on a Saturday afternoon parking lot our driver arrived. Stephen was an incredible example of professionalism and wenched our big truck out a maneuver in itself considering the space, in-forgiving traffic, and managed our truck out and pulled it up on his flatbed. He then gave us a ride to the local ford dealer in his tow truck. I must say I was impressed on the cleanliness of his vehicle. I just wanted to give a huge shout out to Stephen and his truck! After trying to get help from another towing company (they were no help) I called Twin View Towing. Stephen showed up like a knight in shining armor with his steel horse and loaded my car up and it was on its way to the shop in no time. Dude that came through to fix the tire arrived and did not acknowledge me whatsoever. Then got an attitude when my tire wasn't out by the time he got there. Then leaves my old tire on the ground and walks away once done. Do not recommend if you expect good customer service. read more

My family and I were stuck on the Freeway with what was later found to be a broken belt. Kevin came to help save us from what could have been a completely ruined vacation. He was on time, courteous, friendly and helped out so much. Kevin first made sure everyone was loaded in his truck safe and comfortable, then he did his job as quick as he could. He was even able to diagnose the issue with our truck. Kevin gave some mechanic recommendations and with in the next day my family and I were off on our vacation again. Driver was fast. Driver was professional and Courteous. Sat on the side of the road with 2 kids under 2 in the heat dealing with another company for hours. They were horrible. It's never good to need a tow truck, But when I was having car troubles, I had to call a tow truck. The first company took over a half an hour to get back to me saying that they don't have a driver available. Because I was tired and wanted to get home, I opted to call twin view. I'm glad I did. Both times I called them, the drivers showed up well under the quoted time, one time to the point where I was chasing down the driver trying to beat them home from work. With that being said, being new to the area, the first driver filled me in on what to expect being here. Needless to say, if I ever need a tow again (I certainly hope not) Twin View Towing, will be the only company I call! read more

My 82 year old father was hit by another driver that sent him in near fatal crash his self and his lady friend were hit into a telephone pole and landed in a persons garage. When the first responders asked if we had a preference on where to take his totaled car we asked for Twin View Towing. Today when I tried to make the arraignments with these folks to obtain my Fathers late wife's wedding rings (my diseased mother) and ashes that were left in the car they were very rude to us. The person I spoke with lacked compassion and PR not willing to discuss what our options. This is very dis-heart heartening considering the business "type" and our small community to have such a rude person behind the phones. Myself and our family will never use or recommend Twin View towing again because of this telephone conversation. read more

So my son called me and said his vehicle was broken down in Anderson, it was early morning hours after 1:30 am. I saw that there was nothing we could do as his axle was broken except to tow the car. I started calling all the local towing companies. I heard everything from sorry we wont do it because we only have 1 truck and we save it for more expensive towing opportunities, to "yeah this will cost you a pretty penny"? None and I repeat NONE of these companies were even the least bit considerate or polite, nor professional, just Twin View Towing. The answering service lady was great the driver was fantastic and the price was high but reasonable and for that service I didn't really care as it was 30 degrees out and we were freezing. I honestly couldn't believe how rude the other companies were, I am a damn customer with a VISA willing to pay upfront I wasn't trying to get a free tow? I am telling you that I would recommend Twin View and I am heading to the other companies YELP page to write their reviews as well, just they won't be happy with them. read more
