They didn't have to show me, but they did. My car got in fairly quickly when I called and it was done same day. We had my wife's air conditioning done awhile ago and I've never had such good service before at a shop! Her air conditioning started blowing hot air. So I called they asked me to bring the car back and they replaced an o ring and recharged for free. I won't take either of my vehicles anywhere else for no reason. It was a blessing that I Found this shop! I commute often from San Diego to Oregon and need my car to be reliable. the timing belt was done not to long ago from another shop in San Diego. So when a check engine code for a VVT Solenoid I YouTube it and thought it would be a simple fix. Both Shane and Dustin were skeptical on my YouTube mechanic skills and correctly diagnosed the noise/ problem was coming from the timing belt area. They troubleshooted the VVT in front of me and then clearly showed me the problem was in the timing belt area. Apparently, the previous mechanic from that shop in San Diego put a new belt but it was very loose AND didn't change the tensioner and water pump. Shane and Dustin were very professional in handling me (certified YouTube mechanic). I was wrong and they now have my 2000 Lexus purring like new again. This business is not doing the right thing. Problem : Transmission Solution: van under warranty in Feb 09 They "fix" the problem but it is not fixed. Return monthly for the same problem until October when they send the van to another shop find out that D & H misdiagnosed it and now that it is (conveniently) out of warranty after the 9 month fiasco they created...they want $300.00! I finally found a great mechanic! You definitely must take your car here. Five stars!! I've never had any trouble with my Toyota Corolla, since the day I bought it new from the dealership. All of a sudden, it stopped driving well. When somebody scanned it for me for free, they said it had engine trouble... misfire in cylinder number two. Being a single mom, out of work, I didn't have the kind of money everybody was saying I would need to have it fixed. The Toyota dealership wanted $190, just to tell me what the problem was! Thankfully, I found great reviews on line, for D & H Automotive! I called and spoke to Norm, who made me feel like he cared about my problem, and would take great care of my car. The car was barely running when I brought it in... and he could have charged me anything. When he took the engine cover off, he found a rat's nest, and the wires had been all chewed up! Norm was honest, professional, and really fast. And did not over charge me, because I am a woman! I cannot say enough great things about Norm and this wonderful auto repair business! They are honest, reliable, people of integrity. I wouldn't even give it one star. I took my car in to get fixed and they had it for four days! They called me up and told me that it was ready and everything was fine. I had asked them if they fixed the problem with the excelleration and all they said was "I don't see any problem but if it starts acting up again, you can just come back". First off I only want to make this a one time thing. Secondly, it broke down the same day I got it back. Talk about horrible service. I will never go back. It's a waste of time and money. read more

Norm and Shane are professionals. After having repairs done elsewhere something was obviously not right. I took my car back 3 times to the other shop and still the problem persisted. Norm looked it over, gave me his thoughts, ordered parts, and called me when they were in. Once he tore it down and found the problem, the unused parts were returned (no charge to me) and my car was fixed right. They could have charged me more I wouldn't have known the difference. I want to thank Sean and Norm for the amazing job they did on our Ford Expedition. We found ourselves in a crunch when we drove to Redding to attend a graduation (290 mile trip) and something went wrong with our truck. We stopped by and were assured that they could get it fixed and have us back on the road the same day. They've gone above and beyond to help me with my Toyota Tacoma. They charge a reasonable rate and get the job done quickly. Once they let me leave my trailer there overnight and helped me in the morning when the jack broke as I was trying to leave.
