Took my car in a while back and wound up having a blown head gasket. They wanted me to buy a new engine for 8k. Told them I would not be doing that and when I got my car back there was no cap on my coolant reservoir. Luckily I caught it quickly and went and immediately bought another one. Had them reimburse me for the cap but it was a shitty aftermarket cap and the functional original cap I've had to do without. Not to mention having to once again buy coolant. My engine block would have been toast had I not caught it as quick as I did. Could have been an honest mistake but also would have guaranteed I needed a new engine. Had never had an issue before but won't risk going back. Changed the head gasket myself for $800 after buying tools and parts. read more

they are friendly but they failed to tell me that my trunk was full of water when I got it diagnosed where the battery and spare tire was. the last time I got a diagnosis there they told me I had to replace a sensor for my dash lights not turning on, just to find out I really had to get the computer inside the dash fixed. They also failed to tell me why the ac wasn't working properly. they are friendly and have good customer service skills, but those boys in the shop aren't doing their job properly. I would recommend finding a different automotive repair center if possible because they will only look at what you tell them to look at and not the bigger problem like a trunk full of water. read more

I went for a smog check and was a walk-in. They got my car into the shop extremely fast. Before I was done drinking my complimentary coffee(passed on the donuts because I'm hefty) my car was done. Everyone I came in contact with had a smile and was very professional plus the waiting area was very clean and inviting. Not to mention they had the best price out of the five shops I called. My older car developed a rather annoying, embarrassing, and constant squeal in my brakes- not just when I was preparing to stop, but the ENTIRE time it was in drive! It didn't matter whether I was driving on a country road or highway. I took it in fully expecting to have to have them replaced. The technician was honest with me and said that I still had plenty of miles to go before they would need replacing. He cleaned and lubricated them so that I could at least continue to drive my car without my brakes continuing to squeak non-stop. The whole staff is always courteous and professional and their waiting room is air conditioned and comfortable with a large screen tv and coffee. Better off going elsewhere!!! I have used this shop many times however This time has cost me!!! Took my Jeep here with a check engine light misfire code. I explained to them upon arrival I had a full warranty through Ford Protect and asked if they worked with this company. They of course said yes. My service writer was Jose. His initial estimate was cylinder head replacement. Ok I agree its a common problem for this model and year. Go ahead and ger the warranty started. I have rental reimbursement as soon as the claim is made. Well a week later... I called Jose who informed me he hadn't had time to contact my warranty company could I please call and start the claim. I explained to him that as the repair shop had to make the claim and if he could please do so asap so I can get a rental vehicle. Once Jose started the claim, he suddenly had a variety of other problems he said my vehicle had ( metal in the oil etc) and I needed a new engine. Warranty would be sending an inspector to take photos next week. Ok great. A week goes by... Nothing no response. I called Jose again.. who now says they have to take the engine apart and take it to a machine shop etc. since they cant do this repair on site. I called my warranty company as i need a Rental car at this point (2 weeks in) They explain they never sent an inspector out and Rochas cannot prove the repairs. They will be sending the 1st inspector out next week. (Week 3) Inspector says mechanics are lying and cylinder head just needs replaced. Jose says this is not true. I finally arrived at Rochas on the 4th week to find my jeep parked with a ladder up against it as if its storage. I asked Jose about this who laughed and said oh sorry to hurt your tire. REally? Its the principal, you take care of your customers vehicle not treat it like trash. I asked to speak to the owner at this point so we can get some kind of estimate of time for repairs. I am informed the Owner doesnt actually work there and they cant give me any contact info for them. Ronnie Rocha the supposed owners son came to talk to me. He was very cocky from the start. He explained he was just a Repair and replace facility and he shouldn't even be dealing with my warranty company. I asked him if he was in over his head and if I needed to take it elsewhere at this point as he sounded like he didn't know what to do. He informed me he would personally take on the repairs and stay in contact with me. At this point Ford is still saying No proof no claim. Ronnie calls me an hour later and says im done come pick up your jeep. Really... you've taken the cylinder head and camshafts out and i can come get it? 2 days later he said it was ready for pick up. i asked if I needed to have it towed since he never fixed the issue. He said "No it runs better than when you brought it in." Hmm ok.. I drove home to put the hardtop on the jeep since it had been at Rochas over a month at this point, and it was running super rough (had no rough idle when i dropped it off) and immediately smelt hot like coolant coming from the jeep. I drove it to Crown Motors who immediately let me know it looked like someone had stuck a screwdriver in my radiator hose, and the cylinder head had been reassmbled completely incorrectly. ( camshaft and bolts put on backwards) which caused further damage. They said they would have never advised me to drive the Jeep in that condition and couldn't believe a repair shop would do this. Crown fixe d it correctly it just needed the head placement as ford has advised all along. I had to pay $650 extra to fix the damage they did. Over $1000 in rental fees. I have reached out to Ronnie since he wont give me the owners info. and havent gotten any response. Next step will be to get my money back in small claims! read more

Last June a employee working for Rocha's rear ended my wife's car while at the stop light in front of the business. He looked awfully young and refused to give any ID or Insurance. The young man pleaded to go back to the shop and she could talk to his boss. His boss offered to fix the car. After hearing about this later that evening I called and stated that "I'd rather not have you fix the vehicle. I don't think our priorities would align." I asked for insurance and He didn't want to give it, saying that he would pay for it. My insurance fixes the car and fast forward a year he refuses to pay the $1500 for the damage. This lack of ethics and morals that we continually nurture has led us to this place. I've been here for a few smog tests and they're pretty quick but I can't do business with someone who doesn't own up to their mistakes. read more

Man splaining at its finest. Came in for horrible squealing brakes and windows rolling down on their own, the off the lot brand new w these problems. In dealership six times w all brake parts replaced w no resolve. Same masplaining at the dealership. Rochas told me it's that my brakes are low that's why squealing and the windows are due to something stuck in the way in the door and they cleaned it, works fine now. The low brakes are not the squeal, all parts have been replaced and it came off the lot spotless, can't be dirt in the buttons causing the windows.. the fact that your mechanics don't know the difference is concerning. When I went to pick it up, the window was down. A little irritated my car is unlocked and windows down while on their care. Tried to roll it up, it rolled right back down. So I know someone knew it wasn't fixed. I also asked to replace the undercarriage piece. They said all the pieces are attached when I literally ripped it off myself w a pocket knife during the fire evacuations. It's pretty big and hard to miss. They charged me 78 for an "inspection" but I never asked for an inspection. I asked for a diagnosis. So they gave me some thing I didn't ask for, did not do the job that I asked them to do and charge me for it. I took it back in again, and they told me that the windows are because the weatherstripping is wearing down. I said, are you guys not listening to me that this has been doing this since it came off a lot and it was spotlessalso it's been in the shop six times and the manufacturer is definitely done those things so it can't possibly be that what you're telling me. I live an hour from town. I have to drive back-and-forth and get rides. This is wasted a lot of time and energy. I'm not impressed with these peoples mechanics. The customer service and the go-betweens they're great but I just got to train your mechanics a whole lot better than this. It can't just be the simplest solution every time and women are stupid. I just called to ask for the inspection refund. He told me that I authorized it ahead of time and that I signed it with my signature. When I asked if I could see this form that I supposedly signed ahead of time, he told me to call the bar. read more

I always have used them for smog as I work on my own vehicles, however if for whatever reason I couldn't do something and needed to take it in I would not hesitate to bring it here. These guy are always super cool very polite and professional you won't get that bs you get from other shops (you know what I'm talking about). Went in as my AC was working intermittently. Was told I needed a full replace of my AC system as I had a blockage and my system was over pressurized-replace everything to the tune of $2400. Went somewhere else, they preformed an AC service (less than $300) and my AC works great! Don't trust them!!!!! read more
