The response from Les Schwab is a nice try at evasion. I stand by my comments and would simply say to anyone in the market for new tires you should not be fooled by excuses to avoid accountability. Having driven 20,000 miles on 80,000-mile tires they should not require replacement even if they had never been rotated and that is affirmed by experts. (And, yes it may be good to rotate your tires, but be sure you do so within the tight mileage guidelines of Les Schwab or they will nullify your warranty) And equally significant is their gross overcharging. The more I thought about the failure of service and accountability I knew I needed to look elsewhere for a new set of tires and much to my amazement I purchased the same quality tires and paid $552.86 versus the Les Schwab quote at $736.10; that is a savings of $183.24. I guess Les Schwab wants consumers to help pay for their new building. read more

I enjoy bringing my toys to this brand. I started in the Concord, Ca location and they were always honest and accommodating for all my vehicles. This is my first time to this location and as soon as I pulled up they came to the parking lot to greet me. Switching my account to Redding stores was simple and easy. Now, these mofos better not come with no you need this and you need that...lol Ahhh snaps...here he comes with that bullsh*t. $248 for non-needed sensors..ugh! No birthday discount or nothin'! WARNING!!!! Don't take your car here!!!! Paid over $700 for routine maintenance brake work & they damaged my Electronic Parking Brake while working on the rear brakes. Had to pay another shop $5,000 to repair all of the damage they did to my vehicle. Have been a patron of Les Schwab on S.Market for 25+ years for numerous vehicles & have never been treated so poorly. Did the right thing & filed a claim with them which they automatically denied, Les Schwab's customer service sure is NOT what it used to be! CAUTION use at your own RISK! Kylee- your claim team didn't bother to read all of the claim then as the EPB problem created when then damaged it eventually was preventing me from being able to operate my car! If there wasn't a problem in the 1st place why did your shop replace the calipers in an attempt to resolve it which it did not. I gave you guys the opportunity to fix it & you couldn't! You broke something that was not damaged until you did the rear brake job! I had to make several trips Sacramento to the dealer to get my car fixed properly only to have your claim dept. "kiss" off the claim. I have lost all belief that Les Schwab has good customer service & will never return or EVER recommend your services to ANYONE not only at the Churn Creek shop but ALL of them after dealing with your corporate claims department. I have recently become widowed, and with that have come extra responsibilities that I didn't previously take care of. One of those is taking care of my tires when they have a problem. I have had approximately four flat tires in the last 18 months and have taken them to Les Schwab every time. Three of those times, they fixed the leak and I drove out of their place without paying a dime. One time I needed a tire replaced and they did it promptly and efficiently. They always greet me out at my car when I drive in and are polite and professional. I am so grateful for Les Schwab's kindness, professionalism, and the security I have when I have a problem with my car. I will NEVER go back to this les schwab. I only went there because it's closer to my work. I bought new tires and got an alignment. I picked up my car and after driving my pressure sensors weren't working. I took it back and they said one wasn't working. I went through the car wash and they all came on .The. If again. I called Randall and was told "why would we look for problems " when I asked why they didn't check them and let me know one wasn't not communicating. He stated that they did me a favor by not charging me labor when I went back 30 minutes later. But les scwab checks your sensors at no charge. As soon as I drove into the parking lot I was greeted by nearly all the techs. They loved the car. There was no waiting. They got the car on the rack and got everything set to start. Long time les schwab customer here with thousands spent between personal and business. But warning to all this churn creek location is by far the worst I've experienced, no customer service and lazy employees, after spending money on new tires for my trailer at another location two days later I had a low tire so took it down to churn creek because they were close to me, backed in and waited for someone to greet me but no help so went to the front desk to see if I could get it checked out, was told it would be 1.5 hrs to look at it because all the bays were full, there was one vehicle in the shop bays so I asked if she could check with another location to see if they might be quicker and she said I'd have to call and figure it out, like she was put out by my business, and rude. Not what I would expect from the les schwab guarantee, went to the hilltop location and was in and out with great customer service as always.. churn creek needs to take note. **** WARNING TO ALL**** On October of 2022, we brought our vehicle in for a battery check. They eventually told us we would need a new battery and that it would be an additional installation fee due to the location of the battery (under the front passenger seat). We agreed to pay the additional fee and left the vehicle with them for the day. We returned to pick up the vehicle and before my wife could leave the parking lot, she noticed the check engine light on so she reversed back to the stall and asked them to take a look. They spent a short amount of time looking at it and eventually, the assistant Manager CARLOS recommended she drive it around and return the next day if it continued to display the check engine light. On her way home (less than 5 miles away) the vehicle began to over heat. Keep in mind this vehicle never had any issues other than having a hard time starting twice (reason for taking it in to check the battery). At home, the vehicle continued to overheat while idling, dome lights flickered, and the dash display board flickered. It was obvious something was wrong. The next day she returned to the store where she sat around for hours while they connected the vehicle to their machine and tried to figure out what was going on. Nobody updated my wife for hours and she eventually walked up and asked to speak to someone. RANDAL, the store manager, spoke to my wife and said they did not know what was wrong with the vehicle. Prior to, contacting RANDAL, my wife and I contacted several Dodge dealerships to ask why something like that was happening. They all said the same thing..."They arked the battery or installed it in reverse" Because Les Schwab didn't know how to fix the issue they caused, we took our vehicle to a local dealership. I spoke to CARLOS and advised him that we would be sending them the bill which he related if the damage was due to their mistake, Les Schwab would pay for it. We advised the dealership of the reason for service and they agreed it was likely due to the battery being arked and/or reverse polarity on the battery. They attempted to connect the vehicle to their machine and noticed EVERYTHING WAS ERASED. Yes, no history!!! LES SCHWAB ERASED ALL HISTORY. We ended up paying a little over $2100 to fix the vehicle and returned to Les Schwab with the bill. RANDAL completed a claim form with VERY little detail and said corporate would be contacting us. ELLIOT with corporate contacted us a few days later and related they would not be reimbursing us. He even had the nerve to say "WELL COINCIDENCE IS IN THE DICTIONARY FOR A REASON" I strongly encouraged him to speak to RANDAL and CARLOS about the issue to shed more light. Eventually, they sent a gag order and offered us $1,000 to keep our mouths shut about their inability to own up to their MISTAKE and DISHONEST management. We did NOT take this offer and continued to fight. We reached out to a lawyer and sent headquarters a demand letter which they have ignored. Now they are ghosting us. I guess what I'm trying to get at is, it doesn't matter if you've been a loyal customer for over 16 years. "Doing the right thing since 1952" sure does not apply to this store. To Carlos/Randal you know your employees messed up, yet did nothing to help us out. It would have been nice to have management with some balls to own up to their mistake. To everyone else, be careful with this store. They will mess your stuff up and not take responsibility. I thought maybe this was a fluke and we just got stuck with the short stick but when I spoke to other people they've had similar issues with Les Schwab telling them to basically pound sand. To Les Schwab, your gag order was a joke. How about you follow your motto and do the right thing. 12 years ago, $2400 for a battery (battery and repair) would have devastated my family financially. Scheduled an appointment day prior, came in and they finished the alignment 30 minutes early, and gave me visuals on the process.

I was having issues with my vehicle not starting twice in a row unless it sat for a few hours. I took my vehicle to Les Schwab to have the battery, alternator, starter all checked. I waited approximately 2.5 hours before the vehicle could be looked at. They finally had taken my vehicle into one of the service bays to have a tech test the system. I received a call 10 minutes later saying they were finished with my vehicle and I could come get it. The diagnosis was nothing was wrong with anything they had texted. The tech told me it was my injectors and he had a guy I could take my vehicle to that would do the work. I asked him if he put the vehicle on a computer to come to this conclusion and he told me they don't do that kind of work. I'm pretty mechanical, I've been a cross country OTR truck driver for years and have always sone many of my own repairs on my semi and all of my own repairs on me vehicles but this issue had me stumped. I just knew it wasn't the injectors. I ended up replacing the alternator within a week after taking it to Les Schwab, putting the part in myself as well. Guess what the issue is gone..didn't need any injectors just as I thought. Was the Les Schwab tech drumming up repairs for his mechanic buddy..I'll never know. I do know one thing I'll never spend another $1 with a Les Schwab. read more

I brought my Honda Civic into this location for an alignment after replacing some steering and suspension parts. I told them I had done the inner and outer tie rods, and some upper and lower arms in the rear, very basic stuff. All I needed was a 4 wheel alignment, after waiting about 40 minutes the tech came and got me but told me he couldn't adjust the rear camber because the front toe was out of spec...that makes no sense And the two are unrelated. I told him i had personally put adjustable upper arms on the back and it was absolutely adjustable, AND that was part of what I went over with the guy who checked me in. He went back and looked again and imagine that, there were adjustable arms there. if I wasn't an experienced mechanic, I would have taken their word, paid them, and left with an unsafe car. thats not the end though. as I drove home I noticed my steering wheel is now turned to the left to go straight and the wheel vibrates at freeway speeds. I would have been better off taking a tape measure and some toe plates to the car and just eyeballing the back. And all that cost me 130 bucks. I will never come back, I will never refer anyone, and I will never have anything good to say about them. I want my money back and I'll be making some phone calls to their leadership.
