I had just moved and Robinett's Automotive is a five minute walk from my house. I needed rear brakes and a stabilizer bar replaced on my Prius. The only unexpected item that came up was the rotors needed replaced but I was only charged for additional parts. The work was done well and I had my car back by noon. My car was having problems with what the owner and head mechanic said was some seal that dried out and was decaying and that it would be a 2,300 hundred dollar fix. I hadn't been driving this car for a while so I was all in to fix it especially at a relatively good price, for it to supposedly run like brand new again it was worth it in my eyes. I ended up paying 6,000 dollars I don't know where it went and got my car back for every single light to be on and my engine sputtering and about to explode! Don't trust Robinett's! Real spotty work and will mess your vehicle up and continue to charge you for their screw ups. read more

However, the more you call the more the customer service dissolves. There is a cute little waiver that you sign, it releases your car into their possession. not to mention they'll drive your vehicle even after being told they won't. Oh, do not leave anything personal in your car, it won't be there when you finally get to pick up your car, however many days it takes for you to do that. Don't leave trash that may lead to stink in your car cause with these people, you'll never know when you'll get your car back, so 2-3 days later you could have a full blown Wuhan Virus Lab in your car thanks to Robinettes. read more

I took my 93 camaro there to have diagnosed as to why it wont start and they said they did a few tests and found the ground wire from the pass module shorted to ground. They removed the short now no crank. they recommend the theft deterrent module be replaced because it is faulty. They removed the module from the car and i asked for it back so i can see what it looks like also to be able to show the parts shop what i need and if they can test the module. the module was removed and i called Robinetts asking for the module they said is bad and they say they dont have it. How do they know its bad if its not in the car? so either they gave me a bullshit diagnosis or they took the module out and not returning it to me. thieves either way. Dont let these rip offs touch your car. read more

Thank you for resurrecting my '95 Camry! After getting weird messages from the onboard computer, we decided to replace it. Guess what? I have taken many vehicles to them and have had a great experience. However the last time I brought my PT in they had a problem. I have been driving this vehicle flawlessly until I took it into get a smog. Afterwards they came inside and told me I had an error code come up with check engine light on. I was shocked and made it clear I was completely ticked off. Rusty pretty much passed the blame onto myself which I felt was not the proper thing to do when you are running a family business. I have 25 years experience working on vehicles and I felt it was a bit insulting. I expected him to at least comp me the smog cost but they still charged me which left me wondering if they are the right choice for my smog shop. I will be returning today at 8:30 and I am hoping for that class A service I have received in the past. Such great service I am willing to give them a second chance.
