We bought a new to us boat last year and we wanted to get the motors checked out before taking it…read moreout on the ocean. I called and made an appointment for about 4 weeks out. No problem. Appointment comes and I take the boat in and drop it off with a list of my concerns. He lets me know the tech came back from a conference and was out sick that day. Ok, no problem. After a week I call back and tech hadn't had a chance to look at the motors yet. Following week, call back again, still haven't looked at the boat. They had our boat for over 6 weeks without doing a thing and very poor communication. Found another boat shop to look at them within a week. Called back to let them know not to start and I was coming to pick up my boat. He said he would have someone look at it by the end of the week and I declined his offer. Fast forward 3 months, We were in West Marine looking for a part. They didn't have it but recommended going to the Outboard Center. My first thought was absolutely not! Work brought my boyfriend down the street from the Outboard Center a few hours later and he decided to swing in. Christina was AMAZING!! He explained our previous issues and she apologized and explained changes have been made to better serve her customers. She was able to order the parts and get us scheduled to have the part fixed in our very tight time frame. We picked up the part, installed it, and it was leaking. Called her up and she immediately called the manufacture. She didn't have the individual part but had a whole rebuild kit she was able to take apart to get the part we needed. She made an appointment to bring the boat in the next morning for Colton to get the part replaced. HE had it done by noon and got us back on the road to our vacation. Everything was covered under the manufacture warranty. They have been extremely helpful and knowledgeable with all of our questions. I am so glad we gave them another chance, they have gone above and beyond for us. I will be sending anyone I know that way.

Even after buying a new motor from them, they never follow through with what they say they're going to do like call you back with information you need after repeated requests. And this has been from the (new) owner down to the employees. None of them follow through with what they say their going to do without repeated call backs. Regret my purchase and wish I would have used another dealer. Now I dread the thought of having a warranty issue. Hope the motor doesn't have any trouble. Signing up under my Dad's account because I don't want to be uncomfortable if I have to go back in there.

He got the check and my boat, said that he needed to order parts from Suntracker and needed to cash the check because he had to send money up front for the new panels. So stupid me I trusted him. He took the money, had the boat for 6 months, kept saying parts were backordered, then told me the wrong item was sent, didn't return phone call, only way to catch him was to go the shop or catch him answering the phone, then he would be full of excuses or lies. Finally I started tracking down his lies by calling the places he said he was using. Suntracker first told me they don't make panels for the year of my boat, I would have to get them custom made. I asked him who he was talking to at suntracker and he would not tell me. Then I was getting some bimini work done with the insurance money and he kept telling me he talked with the bimini guy and everything was set, I talked with the bimini guy and he said Marine Masters hadn't talked to him. When he was suppose to be fixing my boat, he owned Redding Boat works, during that time he lost the business and re-opened as Marine Masters under his wifes name. I finally had to go to redding, personally talk to the bimini guy and get a bid for the work, and have it towed there, Aaron was suppose to tow it back to his shop, pay for the bimini work and finish painting the panel, fixing side panels and re-pinstriping the whole boat, I called him 4 times the next week and first his truck broke down, was suppose to get it fixed the next day, nope, then the next day, nope then by Friday, nope finally I drove to redding, paid for and picked up my boat from Bimini guy, told AAron I was done and I wanted my money back, he told me to send him a bill which I did, he argued about the charges, said he wasn't going to refund my money, then he filed for bankruptcy. He knew I was going to take him to small claims court so he included me as a creditor and got away with it. Thanks to him, my boat is not fixed, I had to pay for the bimini out of my own pocket and he got $6,000. Thanks Aaron....Do not take your boat to this guy you will be ripped off guarantee. Before all this, he worked on a friends ski boat just a simple oil change and filter, my friend marked the filter with a pen and when he got it back it was the same filter but was charged for a new one. Owner said his son must have forgot to change it. HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN? Ripoff!!!!!!

I have an older boat in extremely good condition. 1983 in mint condition. I called two local boat…read morerepair/maintenance shops and they both said they would not work on a boat that old. Keep in mind all I wanted was an annual maintenance. You know oil change and impeller change and flush the coolant. Last time I used boat it worked great. They both said call MARINE MASTERS. I called them and they agreed to do the annual service. During the service they said I had a cooling system problem. I gave the approval for them to do the repair to the cooling system. Total cost after annual service and cooling system repair approximately $500. I took the boat out and immediately the boat began to overheat within 30 minutes. I took the boat back to Marine Masters and told them about the overheat. They checked the engine and sure enough the engine froze up due to the overheat and the lack of their proper repair of the cooling system. The owner told me he would make it right! Well the only way to fix is to overhaul or replace the engine. This all began in late May and after six months of being told it was going to get repaired. Continued monthly phone calls from me asking when it will be done. He would never return my phone calls! The only way to catch him was to catch him answering his phone or in person at his business. After six months of telling me it's almost done and continued excuses of difficulty of obtaining parts I just went to his place of business and picked up the boat. He had not done a thing except tear the engine apart. He assured me he already spent the money for a replacement engine but that he still did not have all the parts. I asked him to prove to me that he spent a dime towards getting me a new engine and he declined to prove it to me! So I am left with my beautiful mint condition boat with no engine all because of this shop and it's owner! Beware!!!
