I love Rakuu. They have a decent happy hour from 4-6. I love their shrimp spring rolls and crab ragoons. Shrimp spring rolls were so fresh. Just wished they gave more peanut sauce. I may jist need to buy an extra because I like alot.

I've never had Rakuu before and decided I would order some sushi rolls to go and I was beyond surprised! The portions of these rolls were huge and not the typical small ones from other places. I had the Green Dragon and the Akemi rolls and you can see they are clearly squeezed into these To-go containers! Of the two, the Green Dragon was the best I must have missed it in the description but the Akemi roll actually has sliced strawberries on the top so the sweetness throws me off. I just slid them off and finished them lol I was super happy that the sushi chef actually sliced these in smaller portions so you not eating this huge piece at a time.

    Maggot on broccoli

Before today, I would have rated them higher. Unfortunately, this will be my last time ordering. I placed an order for three items today, and one of them--the chicken and broccoli--contained a maggot on one of the broccoli pieces. I can't even fathom eating the other two items, I am utterly disgusted.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, my wife wanted sushi and I was looking for some good Pho. This place has amazing customer service, a beautiful ambiance from the outside you would never even know how beautiful it is inside. The music is a great upbeat vibe and they even had the football game on. The pho was exceptionally taste and made my soul feel warm, the sushi was great. My favorite appetizer the crab Rangoon did not disappoint. If you ever on this side of 2920 this is a must try restaurant, I was absolutely impressed all around. The pricing is great for the portion of food that you receive! Great job RaKuu owner and staff. We will be back!

Since hurricane beryl happened I haven't had any great food until today. Their sushi was amazing. I am not a great fan of raw sushi, but lord the genseki sushi that our server recommended was bomb it felt like the tuna melt right on my tongue. Big shout out to our server Samantha A. She was super helpful with her recommendations and very attentive 10/10 !

    1. Service - I can't recall our waiter's name. But the young Korean man that served us was nice and friendly. We would totally come back because of how we were treated. If we return, we would definitely ask for his service again. Hopefully he will still be there after this Pandemic. 2. Price - very reasonably priced. Sushi was about $5-$12 a roll. 3. Ambiance - it's elegant in there. It feels like a contemporary lounge and a sports bar in the same time. Family hang outs are welcomed. Although, it's also romantic in the same time for dates. Dress code is casual, although, on a Friday night, some people dress up a bit to go here. 4. Food - Im so glad that there is sushi available up in Spring, TX. I don't have to travel into town just to get sushi. I recommend their SPIDER ROLL, CATERPILLAR ROLL, and TIGER EYE ROLL. Sashimi here is fresh and good also. I usually stick to the common ones at most sushi places, unless it's their signature rolls and people rave about them. 5. Cleanliness - dining area as well as water closets (restrooms) are quite clean.

Best Japanese or Asian food in Spring hands down. Great vegetarian options, sushi is amazing and some of the best ever fried rice I've had.

From the moment the duck arrives at your table, you know you're in for something special. The skin is perfectly lacquered--beautifully crisp with an irresistible golden sheen--while the meat underneath is unbelievably tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite is a perfect balance of crispy skin, succulent duck, fresh cucumbers, scallions, hoisin sauce, and warm pancakes. It's not just dinner... it's an experience. What I love most is the consistency. Every single visit, the quality is exceptional. The presentation is elegant, the flavors are authentic, and the attention to detail is second to none. You can truly tell that the chefs take immense pride in their craft. The service is always warm, attentive, and welcoming, making every meal feel like a special occasion. Whether it's a date night, celebrating with friends, or simply satisfying a craving, Bamboo House never disappoints. 5/5 Stars isn't enough. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would. If you're anywhere near Houston and have never experienced their Peking Duck, you're missing one of the finest culinary experiences the city has to offer. It has become my personal gold standard, and after countless meals around the world, nothing has topped it. Thank you, Bamboo House, for continuing to serve what I genuinely believe is the best Peking Duck I've ever had. I'll keep coming back--and bringing everyone I know with me!

The duck is roasted for hours, so the skin comes out nice and crispy without being too greasy. I also like that the remaining duck is made into a soup afterward. The servers have always been attentive and friendly, and the restaurant is spacious, so it's a good spot for family dinners or larger groups.

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.
