Chicken & Broccoli Lunch

Taste ? Good Price ? Fair Will admit i liked these rangoon's more than other spots , however the chicken used the same sauce of every other spot. Loved the calm environment and having attentive staff. Wish music or the tv was playing though

Fried 25. Chicken Dumpling

First time stopping bye, I had the lunch special of General TSO's chicken and everything was fresh and hot. Veggies were fresh not frozen. My girls had egg rolls and Chicken Fried Dumplings they did not disappoint. The staff were very courteous and friendly. The lunch specials are at an affordable rate which is great as well.

The reason for giving 2 stars is because the food was fresh ( just hot) but no seasoning and no taste! The portions were very small to be a little more in the expensive side, compared to surrounding Asian/Chinese restaurants . My noodles had no taste at all! It was like I basically boiled pasta noodles and drained it straight from the pot. I'm disappointed because I saw a few good ratings!

I truly enjoy the 80's music. The establishment is clean and well arranged for the intimate sizing. The waitress is nice and friendly. The menu is expansive and housing almost anything you can imagine for this cuisine. I am enjoying the ambiance and friendly attentive service. The drinks are limited but that should not be a deterrent. Come in give them a try and see what you think.

This is my go to place for Chinese take out. They seem to have a better flavor here and a more home cooked feel to it. When I come here I am greeted with a smile and always served quickly even on busy days. The place itself is minimal with decorations but there are two TVs one on each end of the restaurant so you dont have to talk to the person you came with. If push comes to shove you could always use your phone. When I come here I usually get two things. The veggie lo mein and the general tso tofu. The noodles are some of the best noodles I have tasted. It has this smoky flavor to it and it always comes out piping hot. The crispy tofu my not be for everyone, especially when they call it bean curd, but this is a really good dish if you want a veggie dish that's not the healthiest. This place is clean and has a small business feel to it. They deliever and have amazing lunch specials and business hours. Come give it a try.

View of the inside - this place is in the same parking lot as Texas Children's Pediatrics on 2920 at TC Jester.

Stopped by this place today for some takeout. I ordered a General Tso's combination plate. Upon entering the restaurant, it is small, modern, and quaint. There are two televisions. The staff is super friendly and are quick to greet you when you come in. My order was ready by the promised time. To the right of the register, there are "serve yourself" condiments. You can get soy sauce, chop sticks, fortune cookies, etc. After making it home, I found my meal. It came with General Tso's chicken, chicken fried rice, some broccoli, and an egg roll. The food was solid. I enjoyed all of it. I will definitely be back!

Pepper Steak and broccoli beef were delicious but fried rice was greasy. Service was quick.

We tried Hong Kong Chinese today after my daughter's softball game honestly, we were exhausted, so…read moretakeout sounded perfect. We spent about $60, and unfortunately... this was one of the most disappointing meals we've had in a while. The food tasted old across the board. The egg rolls were burnt, the sweet and sour chicken was dry and flavorless, and the General Tso's chicken was soggy and overly sweet. The only things even remotely edible were the lo mein and fried rice. To make things worse, the service didn't match the price point. For a $60 order, we were given just four soy sauce packets, no plasticware, and no fortune cookies. When I asked for more soy sauce, sriracha, and duck sauce, I was initially given barely anything had to ask again and explain I had a full meal to feed. They eventually brought more, but still no fortune cookies. My husband and I eat out often because of our schedules, and we don't mind spending money on good food but this was not it. I had really high hopes because it's hard to find solid Chinese food in the Spring area, and I was hoping this could become a go-to spot. Unfortunately, it won't be. If I weren't so tired, I would've called back to complain but I just didn't have the energy. Chalking this one up as a loss and doing better next time. Would not return and I wouldn't trust the good reviews either. ‼‼

The food was very good!…read more I was hesitant at first because some of the menu seemed to be fusion items. In a place like Houston, where you can get authentic Vietnamese food, this can be a luck draw if the fusion pays off. However, when I tried the food, it was a very flavorful and worth every cent I spent. Everything was very tasty. The wings were flavorful and crisp. It had a combination of crispy skin seasoned with a rich sauce. The meat was also moist. For a party of two, it was also very shareable because they gave six pieces -both drums and wings. I will say that you really gotta to get in there get your hands and face dirty though! (They did provide a hand wipe!) For the main dishes, the won tonic soup was very flavorful with sweet-and-sour elements with egg noodles that soaked up all this good flavor. The wontons inside were very standard. And the onion was added to provide some balance. Everything was very hardy and filling. My friend had gotten the vermicelli. Which came with crunchy egg rolls, shredded veggies, noodles, and shrimp topped with a fish sauce. It felt very light and refreshing with a balance of textures and savory elements'. Highly recommend as the number one and two selling dishes - it would just depend on if you're in a soup or dry noodle sort of mood. Service was overall fast and friendly. You have to pay by going to the counter. We had a newer waiter though, and it took him a long time to get our orders correctly and he had to get some help. Hopefully they're doing well, but overall, it's a very cute Homie little establishment. Seating fits around 30 around booths and tables.
