Very Blessed to have moved to the area a few months ago and have such an outstanding choice for Chinese Food so close to where we live. My Wife and I have dined in and today carried out and the food is simply outstanding. Had General Tso's the first time and Orange Chicken today. We love doing take out here. Jing Xin has something for your entire family to enjoy. I order ahead and they take the necessary precautions to hand you your food with social distancing but always friendly. The reason for giving 2 stars is because the food was fresh ( just hot) but no seasoning and no taste! The portions were very small to be a little more in the expensive side,compared to surrounding Asian/Chinese restaurants . My noodles had no taste at all! We've been ordering takeout from Jing Xin every month or two for at least 8 years and it's always been outstanding. The last two times however have been TERRIBLE. We were okay with the prices increasing but now the menu has changed, obviously the cook has changed, all the food we got this time was cooked differently than normal at almost double the bill (with fees and such). This is my go to place for Chinese take out. They seem to have a better flavor here and a more home cooked feel to it. When I come here I am greeted with a smile and always served quickly even on busy days. The place itself is minimal with decorations but there are two TVs one on each end of the restaurant so you dont have to talk to the person you came with. If push comes to shove you could always use your phone. When I come here I usually get two things. The veggie lo mein and the general tso tofu. The noodles are some of the best noodles I have tasted. It has this smoky flavor to it and it always comes out piping hot. The crispy tofu my not be for everyone, especially when they call it bean curd, but this is a really good dish if you want a veggie dish that's not the healthiest. This place is clean and has a small business feel to it. They deliever and have amazing lunch specials and business hours. Come give it a try. read more

Stopped by this place today for some takeout. I ordered a General Tso's combination plate. Upon entering the restaurant, it is small, modern, and quaint. There are two televisions. The staff is super friendly and are quick to greet you when you come in. My order was ready by the promised time. To the right of the register, there are "serve yourself" condiments. You can get soy sauce, chop sticks, fortune cookies, etc. After making it home, I found my meal. It came with General Tso's chicken, chicken fried rice, some broccoli, and an egg roll. If you want your business to succeed, please for the love of god don't reheat old food and actually sell it as fresh. The breading on My orange chicken is very soft and soggy. Dropped in here for lunch and was craving sweet and sour chicken. They had it in the lunch menu with choice of rice, choice of soup and an egg roll for around $10. I finally visited this Chinese restaurant to see if it really lives up to the 4 star rating. I have a favorite already in this part of town, but would this restaurant become the new king? Their menu is mostly Americanized chinese dishes, along with some Thai, Vietnamese, and even Malaysian options. The most surprising was seeing a banana split and black cherry pie as dessert options on the menu. Wow!! No, I didn't order these. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken, Beef Lo Mein and Egg Drop Soup. All of the dishes were good. The General Tso's was not spicy as the menu indicates, instead it was very sweet and more like orange chicken. It comes with an egg roll which was decent too. The soups were flavorful (simple wonton and loaded hot & sour) .. the big miss however and sorry to say .. fail... was the ChowFun and scallion pancake. ChowFun was loaded with added sugar (huh) - which we were later told is to appease the local palate vs the slightly salty and savory Chinese style. The overpriced scallion pancake was dinky and totally burnt .. no care or thought was put into this and to plate it and serve it to a customer - is not cool (but on the plus side, the sauce that accompanied it was different and good). This was our first time to Jing Xin. The service was good, staff friendly. There was a lot of take out action, but only one other family eating in. The food looked good but it was flavorless. The Jade chicken was supposed to be snow peas and asparagus. It also had zuchinni, celery, broccoli and lots of ginger. Why not just call it chicken with vegetables? Beef and broccoli was ok, could have been cooked less, the broccoli was really soft. The Hunan Chili Pork was very spicy which my husband enjoyed. The meat in all 3 dishes was tender. I generally order the General Tso Chicken with white rice, wonton soup and it is always consistently tasty, though not much different than the way their Orange chicken tastes. Appetizers are these little cucumber slices with a sauce and since the first visit I've always unsure if they're actually there for me to eat. I usually get a hot or iced tea and they keep it coming. After reading and hearing positive reviews about Jing Xin, we finally ventured in to give this little restaurant a try. My husband, son and I were not disappointed. A small establishment that apparently does quite a bit of take out business, we opted to dine in and avail ourselves of one of their cozy booths. Jing Xin's seating capabilities are limited, so if you do plan on coming here with a large group (greater than 6), it may be difficult for them to seat you together. Service from our waiter was extremely attentive (and I obviously tipped accordingly). The food offerings here are a bit more diverse than the average run-of-the-mill Oriental restaurant that you'd find in this area. A few more choices on the soups, the appetizers, the noodle dishes, the specialties and the availability of dum sum and bean curd dishes gave us many choices. A hot and sour soup fan, I just had to give that a shot. I savored the flavor and the good consistency, as often hot and sour soup can be overly firm and thick. Son had the wonton and complimented its flavor. We ordered spring rolls as well, which were quickly explained as being the "fried" type of spring rolls (which we fully anticipated). Steaming hot upon arrival, they were accompanied by a light sauce along with the hot mustard my husband requested. A word of warning if you, like him, request that hot mustard: a little bit is all you need, as it is the most fiery mustard he says he's every eaten! We had Phat Thai Shrimp (actually ordered the chicken, but shrimp came out instead and I was only charged for the chicken), Kung Pao Shrimp and Kung Pao Beef. All dishes were presented nicely on square white dinnerware and we dug in! Shrimp was cooked just right: tender and not overcooked. Vegetables in the Kung Pao Shrimp and the Beef were crisp, served with a pleasant sauce. The Phat Thai was delicious. I couldn't believe that I ate almost the whole thing, but the noodles and onions and sauce with the shrimp was irresistible. All of us were excited to have located a restaurant that serves tasty food, is convenient and is reasonably priced. We will definitely return. read more

Practically, no contact. They called to tell me that my order was ready. I arrived three minutes later. The guy saw me pull up.
