This wasn't my first visit, but it was the worst as far as the food was concerned. As I began to eat, something wasn't the same, the taste. Then when I took a bite of the egg, I was very disappointed, not only was it hard, like it had been overcooked and then sat out for hours, but it tasted bad. I immediately threw it away. The crab, shrimp, sausage, and corn were all decent, but not the usual exceptional. I will be back and I'm going to chalk this one up to a bad day. The service was good, and the atmosphere was casual with a few room changes since my last visit, plus I see they add more items to the menu and different types of crab too. Oh and the "pickled fries", which are fried pickles cut like thin fries, sorry but the pickle were too thin and all I tasted was the fried batter and very little pickle.

Came for Ash Wednesday! I was already craving seafood & been wanting to check this place out! I went with their combo #10 - kitchen sink & substituted the corn for another boiled egg. For it being a boil, there was quite a bit of oil all up in my meal. I will say the food was well seasoned though! The potatoes was a bit over cooked but tasty nonetheless. Customer service was great & for them to be as busy as they were that day, they did a good job for keeping up with their patrons.

Not exactly sure how this place has such a high score on Yelp. Drove across town to come here there was no one sitting inside. I will say that the lady that took my order was very nice and she even recommended what I should get. I got the combination with one crab leg, six shrimp, corn, potatoes and an egg. Spent about $22. And something else that I haven't really seen they cut up the potatoes and placed them all at the bottom to make the tray look full. I'm use to whole potatoes, not chopped up. Wanted a Coke, but the fountain was broken and they only had sweet tea, lemonade, and some kind of punch and maybe Gatorade or regular sodas. Crabs are extremely small, definitely frozen, and they heated up my entire plate. Everything was lukewarm and definitely not made to order. It was not hot at all. The corn was overcooked and taste like it had been soaking in plain butter. Potatoes were flavorless and so was the egg. The sausage wasn't even andouille was a low quality, and boiled with no seasoning. The six shrimp were already pre-peeled and small. They should've at least left the shell on like a true shrimp boil. I don't recommend going to this place at all because there's so many other great seafood boil places in Houston and in spring. Now I see why it was empty. I didn't even finish my food, and I left hungry. Looking for another place to get something to eat. Went to the restroom to wash my hands after eating and no soap.

Tried this place on my way home from work because I didn't wanna drive further out but wanted a seafood boil. The customer service was great! I was greeted soon as I walked in and given good suggestions on my order. I got my food to go but the restaurant setup is cool. Kinda like a Popeyes or something. The sausage in the bag was HITTIN!!!!!! Omg. It was hella good and the best part about the boil for sure. The shrimp and crab weren't super impressive but I enjoyed em anyway.

Krab, shrimp, Corn, the egg was good (according to my sister)

Great Service.. Unfortunately the food was over seasoned for me and my sister. That's all I'm going to say, cause the cashier is very nice. But something needs to done about over seasoning the food.

Stumbled upon this place while in the area for work. This is a hotspot for Uber eats/ Grubhub and if you are dining in you will notice them prioritizing those orders over the dine ins. It was only us and two other tables there and all of us waited 35+ minutes for our food while to go orders seemed to be in and out. We were patient since we noticed how incredibly busy they were with take out. The ladies working behind the counter kept upbeat and positive attitudes despite the rush and were very apologetic for the wait. When we finally got our food, it was worth the wait! We had the shrimp pasta and the small shrimp platter (spicy). Both plates were great and just the right about of spicy. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town!

So I saw this place on yelp and have been craving some crab legs.. so glad I came here. Y'all this is my new crab spot! So delicious! I ordered the #1 loaded platter.... out of this world! So good. Love that the shrimp it peeled and deveined. And the potato's are cut so you get seasoning on every bite! So delicious. Also got a lobster tail in kitchen sink flavor ( all flavors mixed) very good! Only bad this was I ordered a side of hush puppies for 1.99 and it was literally 3 hush puppies... I mean it could have been a few more in there. But I will be coming back!

Food quality and service was minimal at best. July in Houston and no AC? We won't be back for more overpriced leftovers.

The food was really good but service was slow and it wasn't even busy like that. Only had one beer because the server barely came back.

I had never been to the previous address, but the interior design was so lovely we chose to sit at the new bar. Kady, the bartender (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) was such a doll the whole time waiting us. She kept the chips (touch of louisiana we enjoyed) next to her for refills and made the most twisted hurricane I've had. Definitely walked out clinging to my man lol. We tried the crawfish dip which came with two types of bread, though both went amazing with it. I ordered the lobster ravioli with a side of hush puppies and my old guy ordered the lamb chops, well done, with gumbo (we don't eat pork) and stuffed shrimp. Everything was so damn great tasting. I mean, damned good tasting. My only flaw was the roux could've been a little thinner, but that is absolutely it. Fabulous timeeee and I'm so recommending.

Despite a pretty empty restaurant we were told that only the bar and outside were available. And unlike many other places, they said this bar only allows 21 and older to dine in the bar area, which means only the outside for us. This being a cold (because of the wind) and cloudy morning. Sigh. Asked for a kids menu and was told it's only for 12 and under. Got the evil eye from the hostess when I said my kid qualifies. Then I offered to show them her ID and they backed off with smiles even. The complementary potato chips kind of tasted like Chips Oman. At least they weren't stale and it's a nice addition while you wait. The kiddo got the kids catfish which was just a pretty small piece of fish. Fries were good. Side fruit consisted of strawberries pineapple and red grapes. No drink included. Had to chase down the staff to get some tartar sauce. I wanted a Po Boy but was told they don't offer it on the weekends. Asked about beignets and was told it's only for dessert. Sigh. Decided to get the pork ribeye fricassee. The flavor was good but boy was it salty. Almost like they dropped a whole shaker of salt on it. Good thing there was some rice to counter the effect. Otherwise it would be inedible. So after our meal we had access to the desert menu and got a half order of beignets (4 pieces). They were ok. The dough on these is pretty thick though. Not sure if that's standard but I'd prefer light and fluffy. Soft opening was just the day before. So I think they're trying to find their stride. Water girl was on it though so kudos to her. Waiter was meh. Had to go in and fetch him a few times as they don't come outside much, especially when you're the only one out there. The bar area is small but the bartenders are nice. They have a sectioned off room in the back which might be good for a larger group. Place is kinda small overall though.

The crawfish macaroni is rich, creamy perfection, and the catfish (fried or blackened) is packed with flavor. Don't skip the hush puppies or the boudin balls--they've got just the right kick of spice. And the bread pudding? Warm, decadent, and unforgettable. Bonus: My coworkers and I discovered you can split the lunch-sized club sandwich with fries between four people--it's delicious, filling, and such a great deal! We were seated at immediately, but after sitting for a few minutes with no greeting, I realized something wasn't right. I had to walk back to the hostess stand to let them know we hadn't been assigned a server. Turns out, we were seated in a section that didn't even have a server until 5:00 PM. That's not a small oversight--that's a breakdown in communication at the front. Now, to their credit, once our server stepped in, things started to turn around. Drinks came out quickly. I ordered my usual Long Island, and I loved that it was served in a branded mason jar--cute touch, definitely added to the vibe. (Still wondering if I was supposed to keep it or not ) We started with appetizers: The crawfish pistolet was the standout. Flavorful, rich, and honestly the best thing we had. My only complaint is they needed a little more bread to balance all that filling. The fried green tomatoes were cooked well and the portion was generous (almost two whole tomatoes), but they were under-seasoned. I had to add salt and rely on the sauce to bring them to life. Now let's talk about the menu--it's huge. We're talking seafood, burgers, fried chicken, boils, ceviche... everything but the kitchen sink. And while options are nice, it does make you question how fresh everything really is when a restaurant is trying to do that much. Overall, this place felt like it was trying to recover from a rough start--and partially succeeded. There are definitely some highlights (that pistolet!), but also some inconsistency that keeps it from being a full win. Final verdict: 3.5-4 stars. Come for the seafood favorites, but they've got some tightening up to do on service flow and seasoning.

She informed me of what items she currently had, made suggestions based on what I felt like eating, and smiled the entire time she serviced me. This isn't someone claiming Louisiana roots from 5 generations ago when their kin folk lived on the Louisiana side of the Texas-Louisiana border. She's from the East Bank of New Orleans, and you can hear it in her speech. Let's get to the nitty gritty... the food. Overall, I tasted enough spice and quality to warrant going back to explore more menu items. I was definitely pleased to know that she served fried ribs, considering I've never had those before. Out of all the fried items I had, which ranged from fries to oysters, nothing was fried hard, and nothing was burnt. I will give this place more of my money. Side note: The pecan candy lady that makes the pralines for this establishment is okay as well. She makes a firm textured pecan candy. Some people may not like that, but I'm a fan. It is not overly sweet. For the price point, I would expect a thicker piece, but that may be because I'm spoiled by the pecan candy maker in Dallas (check my reviews of some time ago). All in all, come here and find something to chew on. I think you'll be as pleased as I am.
