Great venue for some rowdy fun. Conveniently located in Williamsburg, the location is very central and not hard to miss. If you are looking for a place to have fun with friends I'd recommend checking Radegast out. The venue is massive with plenty of bench space inside and outside. To add, the service is great and very attentive. Selection wise, you definitely have to get any of the beers. My personal favorite is probably anything on draft - I love how cold and crisp it is. It all pairs really well with the food which I will talk about now. When you're feeling the beer, any of the sausages from the grill will hit the spot. I love bratwurst, you are just tasting the sausage in it's purest form without too much additional seasoning. Outside of that, some personal favorites have to be the schnitzel, pierogi, and pretzels. On a nice day, I will be back for sure.

Always a gregarious time at the very authentically designed Bavarian themed Radegast Hall & Biergarten in trendy Williamsburg Brooklyn! Fun large space with plenty of long wooden tables & benches inside and outside for large groups. Plus a few smaller tables with chairs. They offer a very good variety of Bavarian German Biers & selection of many grilled Wursts, frankfurter, sausages in addition to other menu items. Along with a variety of mustards, pickle and sauerkraut. Tonight they featured a Tiki Bar themed roast pork menu. Get the Giant pretzel with their yummy beer cheese dip! Tonight the place was very darkly lit, on a warm night with little air flow thus, a bit hot and stuffy. Thankfully the AC kicked in around 9PM. However, we were happy to enjoy the Live Band performing as we are big fans of the very talented musician Frank LoCrasto on keyboard accompanied by bass, guitar and drums! Good times! The waitstaff are wonderful btw. Prost!! Danke fürs Lesen

Pretty big beer hall with seats like benches. I got a beer and they serve it in the huge glass cups. There's some food here like pretzels and sausages. I got one of them to try and it's pretty flavorful with the relish on top. Good spot for groups and just drinking! Pretty big beer list here as well!

We visited Radegast twice on our recent trip to Brooklyn, and enjoyed it both times! The first time we went was on a Friday night when it was packed and the second time was on Sunday afternoon when it was much slower. Both times we had kind and attentive servers! The beer was great and there were lots of options to choose from, plus the grill on Friday night really hit the spot with an excellent jalapeño cheese sausage on a pretzel bun with sauerkraut and homemade mustard. Our friends ordered off their dinner menu Friday and really enjoyed the roasted chicken and burrata salad, as well. Definitely a fun, and historic, place to visit in Williamsburg!

If you want to go to an authentic beer garden and have a great time, this is the place to be. Don't expect fancy decor, it's not a French bistro. The decor represents what it is supposed to be. There is a lot of history and its authentic. You go for the beer, the food, and the atmosphere. There is a lot of bench seating without cushions so it's not your typical restaurant. I just wanted everyone reading this to be prepared. You have to go in with an open mind. I came here with a friend of mine that I know since about the fourth grade. It's loud, so be ready. The staff were very courteous and made great recommendation's. They have more than a dozen beers on tap and you can get them in three different sizes. The small is pretty big, probably 12 to 16 ounces. They have more than a dozen bottled beers, cocktails, wines and can probably make any drink you want. Prices are very reasonable, especially for Williamsburg. There are two sides to the food portion of the menu. You have the dinner items on the left. You order those from your server and they will bring them to you. On the right side of the menu are the grill items. You have to go get up and order those from the grill area in the back of the restaurant. All the food had great taste. We wanted to sample as much variety as we could. There were four of us and we ordered the borscht soup, French onion soup, potato latkes, truffle mushroom flatbread, German potato salad, venison sausage, burger, beer fries, and Veal Schnitzel which comes with sides. For drinks we had the 2.5 liter Weihenstephaner Helles beer, the Stiegel Goldbeau beer, DAB, and Moscow mules. Our waitress was from Venezuela and was great. I'm sorry I did not catch her name. I would highly recommend them if you want to just dive into the beer and bar experience.

Don't eat meat, but this is the sausage platter.

As they say in German - "Wunderbar!!!" The ambiance takes me back when I had visited Germany. The setting and layout is your typical feel as if you were in Germany at one of their local bars. Wooden floors, wooden tables, even the bar is entirely wood. Fully stocked. This spot is one of the oldest German bars in Williamsburg. Fantastic German restaurant to have a beer and relax. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Friday afternoon and decided to grab a few beers with friends. Wasn't that busy. Yet. Grabbed a few pitchers and ordered food. The food and beer were the best part of the entire experience. According to my friends, absolutely amazing sausage and house made dipping sauces. If you are reading this review, you should definitely go here for the best German beer. If you are looking for a great bee spot, great environment, and food stop by.

Must visit place for drinks and nice hangouts! Vibe is very German and near holiday season it is kind of cute. Their sausages are amazing you cannot go wrong with any. Place is beer garden and live music spot all mashed together! Great place for happy hour and friendly hangouts!

    Interior, Thursday night, October vibe.

Radagast Hall and Biergarten is and always will be a New York, German beer hall staple for me. Located in North Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York, I've been going to this location on and off for more than 20 years and it has never disappointed. The space is incredibly large with a good size bar in one room where they play live music and have a couple built-in sit down tables, an additional large hall area with picnic benches and a grill for food, and a separate back room with a stove fireplace capable of being booked out for smaller parties. During the day the vibe is joyful and you have tons of natural light. During the night the lighting is muted golden, and a great spot for date nights, as well as large groups and holidays. Food is excellent German beer hall style with fresh sauerkraut, tons of mustard options, thick, delicious sausages, and a variety of other food served, including hamburgers for the faint of heart. Beer selection is extensive and delicious with a focus on that German/European beer style. Every time I live in New York or visit New York, I come to Radagast. Stay open forever! I love you.

We came here for a group dinner on a Friday night. It was not too packed which was a relief. We had a large table for 15 people. They were showing the Euro Cup on the screen which a good number of people came for. At nine they had a live band performing. They were very talented and put on a great show. The crowd did get larger as the night went on. People were dancing on the floor and having a good time. It did not get super overcrowded as I read in previous reviews. Maybe it was a slow night but everything there seemed reasonable. We had a large party so we were able to try out the different kinds of beer. They have a large variety so you can go from light to dark quickly. They have a .5 liter size to a full liter. There were several cocktails available as well. If you wanted to order something from the grill you had to go up and order there separately. We ordered the sausage platter which gave your choice of three options. This was good to try the different sausages at one time. They were cooked well and tasted great. The other patrons ordered some of the appetizers and burgers which were great as well. I have never been to Germany but I assume this is what it tastes like. Overall it was a chill night. I haven't spent much time in Williamsburg but it seems like a great location to be in.

fun chill place and some good brat, definitely not the best i've had but also not the wurst ;) came here on a thursday night and they had nice live music and it was a fairly chill vibe. service was fast and got some food from the grill and dinner menu to share. sometimes you just need a beer and kielbasa night and this did it for us. the latkes and loaded fries were also good! they were nice to give us some free extra fries they had. the mustards were also REALLY good haha. overall def a fun place for groups and want to check out their other events!

We come here regularly on the weekends. They have great brass band performances and it's usually a lively crowd. Their beers are reliably delicious. Their pretzels are soft with great cheese and mustard dips. Their bratwurst and fries are also delicious.

We came here on Saturday around 3pm, 3 pre-made aperol spritz and a couple shots deep which is lowkey a lot for me at this point in my career. I'm on the back 9. I don't have the same lift I once did. Father time is truly undefeated. I walked in here blown away at the energy that couldn't help remind me of the atrium at Lambda Chi Alpha in my glory days at USC. Patrons standing on benches with their drinks, guys needing one more drink before they try to talk to that one girl, a few people WAY too drunk where you're thinking "damn his homies gotta get him home," heads bobbing to some live music that is loud enough that you need a light yell to communicate, all as the natural light from the sun floods in through the skylights to illuminate all the faces in the place At the ripe age of 28, I was on my "I'm lowkey too old for this..." until I went and got a $25 Stein that took me all the way through the end of the day. On another note, day drinking has become FAR superior to night drinking in my twilight years. You wake up with no hangover, you can get all cozy in bed knowing you already hit your socialization quota and get no FOMO, you can see what people actually look like, and something about aperol flooding my veins when the sun rays are hitting my Mexican skin just feels right. My only regret is that I didn't get a pretzel because my one true love in this life is a good ole soft pretzel, and I saw one go by and it was looking at me CRAZY. If I ever get back here, there will be a red dot on that Munich Pretzel... PROST! IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

Hey what's up? I was in Hannover in Lower Saxony (Niedersachsen) at pub that had 3 awesome things: 1) Euro bier, 2) live covers of late '90s/early 2000s on acoustic and 3) 'everyone' singing along. Need this, like need air. Can you do this please?

I chose this place because I had visited a few times in the past and expected a positive environment. While there, I ran into an old friend who was accompanying individuals with special needs. They informed us about the R&B karaoke event, and we attempted to participate respectfully and supportively. Unfortunately, after participating, the DJ became rude and dismissive. My friends decided not to continue because each time they attempted to request a song, the DJ was unkind and impatient, seemingly unaware--or unconcerned--that they were individuals with special needs. The situation escalated when I attempted to calmly address the disrespect. Instead of listening, the bartender repeatedly accused me of being drunk simply because I was defending myself after a rude comment. I was not intoxicated; I was advocating for respectful treatment. Even the DJ's own companion appeared visibly shocked by the comment made toward me, as if anticipating a reaction. I remained composed and professional despite being deeply upset. What disappointed me most was the staff's decision to defend the DJ's behavior rather than acknowledge how inappropriate and disrespectful the interaction was. This reflects poorly on how this establishment treats people--especially those who deserve patience, understanding, and dignity. I came expecting an enjoyable brunch experience and left feeling ashamed for having trusted this place. It is clear that the venue prioritizes protecting mediocre DJs with minimal local popularity over treating customers with basic respect. Poor organization, lack of proper event management, and unprofessional staff behavior made this experience unacceptable. I have visited many establishments and have never felt so disrespected. I will not be returning.
