My new favorite brewery. I've been here a few times now --- by myself, with a friend, and with a group. Each and every single time has been awesome. This place has everything, attentive service, great beer, and great food. I find that sometimes the beer offerings at various breweries get a bit stale --- it's almost always the same stuff. Keg & Lantern is going to have all your favorite, but they just seem better executed. My go-to first beer is the Soprano. A great crisp Italian pilsner After that, it's off to the races with a high abv hazy ipa. The food here is also great. In particular, I love their fish and chips. After having it multiple times, it seems unbelievably consistent. It's always delicious. My wife loves the blackened fish. Finally, the service is great. They're attentive, always seem to swing by at the right time, and are super friendly. K&L seems to do everything all the other breweries do, but just a little bit better. For sure stop in here. I went to Keg and Lantern previously, and it was packed because there was an NFL playoff game on. I had no idea it was such a popular spot. It's one of those seat yourself spots, so I get wanting to save a bigger area for your crew, but it felt chaotic and hard to find seating here. The second time I went, it wasn't nearly as crowded and I was able to snag a booth, which made for a much better experience. Note to self, if there's a big playoff game or any major sporting event happening, go early to save prime seating. Otherwise, go when there isnt a game on if you want a more chill vibe. For drinks, I ordered a pint of the creamsicle beer, which didn't really taste like the ice cream. Since they're known for their wings, I ordered the Yakitori wings and Buffalo wings. Both were good. Also got a large plate of chili chicken fries, which were amazing. Overall, I was happy with the meal. Service was just alright. It wasn't terrible, but nothing stood out either. read more

This is a perfect spot to get great draft beer. They have a ton of IPAs that they make in house. My favorite IPA is the frosty nectar. You can get a pitcher of it if you would like. They have a lot of traditional bar food that is very good. The pretzel is huge and comes with mustard and cheese and is so doughy and delicious. This place is great to come after going out for dinner. A great spot to meet up with friends and have drinks and the option to get food is right in front of you. We usually sit in the back area which is an enclosed tent that has heating, and there are TVs that you could watch. Our server is very attentive and friendly. This is our go to spot. read more

I really liked this spot as it was a beautiful day and they had plenty of outdoor seating available. I loved how they had the TVs on outside to all the baseball going on during the day (my Mets were playing the Yankees). It was a hot day and I was happy seeing the jug of water outside so we were able to serve ourselves and not keep asking for water. Was definitely not sold on this place. We walked into the spot thinking it was a typical brewing spot. The menu online looked promising. I came here to try some sour beers because I have odd taste in beers. Unfortunately the bartender pretty much ignored us when we sat at the bar. We had to wave him down to get his attention. Mind you this place was not busy either. The price was cool because it was happy hour. I ordered my beer and it definitely wasn't a sour beer. We literally sat there on a cold April day and researched another place to. The atmosphere didn't do it for us either. Usually at breweries the bartenders are much nicer or they at least give you some small talk. The vibes felt more like a resturant type place. Such a cute place!! The walls are lined with beer cans that seem like unique kinda beers - overall just a really cool bar. They have seasonal beers and a wide range of the classics. I got the Takes Two to Tango Mango which I really liked, it was light and not too sweet. We happened to catch the tail end of the happy hour, thank you to the super sweet waitress for letting us know! I think it was like $14 for a beer and 6 wings in any flavor which is a pretty good deal. The wings were kinda dry though - not the main highlight of the experience. Feels more like a sports bar. I know a lot have said that already but it's a consensus opinion about this place. Keg and Lantern is still an okay place for drinking and watching sports or other stuff on TV. Beers are good. The food is typical greasy bar stuff. Expect it to get busy for sports events. I checked this out with a female friend on the weekend to watch football. They were crowded but not too bad though. It just didn't have any tables available. We had to wait for seats at the bar to get freed up. It has a good variety of beers. They had a lot of IPAs, but that wasn't it thankfully. I had the Oktoberfest. It's about $6 for a pint. This had a nice malty taste. As for the food there wasn't much that was appealing. This is mostly meaty stuff like wings. If you want the wings, there's good specials for the happy hour. They also have mac and cheese with bacon, so again it's a meaty place. If you like sports and beer then come here. It isn't the nicest brewery but it can be fun. I have a friend who lives up the street. Shes been here many times and loved it and I came here for the first time with her for the super bowl. Excellent food and very good prices. They brew all their own beer too. I like IPAs and enjoyed their gastronomical beer. It was very grapefruity which i liked. At 445 on the Superbowl the front area was all taken but the back room wasn't. And that room didn't fill up until 6. Glad though I got us a table, its nice and cozy and had more of a relaxed vibe than the more sportsbarsy front area. The waitresses where all really nice, which is hard to be I would think when you have many drunk people yelling at the TV for the Superbowl. My friends weren't crazy about the parmesan wings, said they didn't have enough flavor. I had the chicken tenders. 5 for 11 dollars. Which is a very good price. They are hand battered and the batter was delicious. I was eating all the bits that fell off even. Not one piece of chicken was chewy. It was so good and fried to perfection not overally greasy at all. And I got a side of broccoli which was also cooked to perfection. Most places over cook broccoli and it gets brown, not here though. And I split the carrot cake, which I think they get from a local bakery. Very moist and yummy. I would def come here again! read more

Just came here with 2 friends. We waited in their outdoor area for about 10 minutes and then tried to order at the bar. Bartender told me she couldn't take our order because she "wouldn't know what to do with our tab". So we went back to our outdoor table, enjoyed some free water and 25 minutes later we left because not one person came out. Not one table was checked on. Plenty of seating available in their back patio on a late Saturday afternoon. This brewpub offers an assortment of styles on their draft list as well as a decent food menu. Started off with the "Two Marvelous for Words" IPA ($8) to go along with the Buffalo Cauliflower ($9). The beer is definitely hop forward with a citrus aftertaste that's overall balanced. Buffalo cauliflower is a giant plate of grilled cauliflower drenched in buffalo sauce. I like how it's not breaded; avoiding all the greasiness and keeping things light. Ended the evening with the "Deadly Combination" IPA ($8) - a strong hoppy ale that's more to sip on. Service/ambiance here is solid. Worst customer service ever. Ordered delivery through seamless and got a call from the delivery driver that the restaurant gave our order to someone else, so our food wouldn't be coming. Called seamless and they said we needed to call Keg and Lantern. Called Keg and Lantern and we were given the run around before being told that once the food is made, they have fulfilled their end and they are not in control of who picks it up. WTF. Seriously. Who is in control of that, then? No food, no restaurant refund, no seamless refund because apparently seamless can't get ahold of the restaurant to confirm our order situation. This is a brewery with a lot of character, as they say. When people say a place has character that usually signals to me it's a bit divey or kitsch, maybe has a bunch of trinkets around. This pub truly looks like just that from the outside and inside I'd call it a bit divey. We sat in a side room that was filled with beer memorabilia. It took quite awhile for the server to come out to us and she seemed a bit surly. This place seemed to be filled with mostly regulars at the main bar area. We didn't eat and stuck to tasters so we could try a number of their brews. There was only one I really enjoyed. Nothing terrible just weren't mind blowing.They do have a good variety of types of beer though. Every taster I had was $3 which included Going Blanc (skip this 7.2% Pilsner), Smoked Valor (4% Czech Pilsner), K&L IPA (6.4% IPA), and Gastronomical (6.4% juicy IPA). The beer I had that I loved was We Are Not Animals, a 4.1% Sour, nomz! The best part of our time there was they were hilariously playing cornhole on ESPN. Major competition and we were enthralled, unable to stop laughing. I wouldn't make this a destination for trying beer. If you're in the area, sure why not, but my fellow beer snobs traveling? This place was recommended by a friend who works nearby. It was my first time. We were seated in the back patio; it was quite busy for a weekday and Covid! Both the food and service was on point. The waitress was super friendly and helpful. I was being eaten alive by mosquitos (or whatever it was) and she was so kind to offer me her Off spray. I had such high hopes for this brewery/bar and probably still do. The menu sounds great as far as beers and food. Pretty good happy hour with all draft beers being only $6 from 5-7pm. I intended on coming in for just a one and done because I had an event to attend right after around the corner and had about a half hour to kill. Again, super excited because I'm a beer geek/snob. The bar was pretty empty when I arrived. Maybe five people up at the bar and maybe two people sitting at a table max. No one really seemed to be bartending I discovered for maybe close to ten minutes of my sitting there. No visible menu unless I got up to closer inspect the chalk board or run to one of the side tables to scan in the digital menu. So I waited and waited. Finally a girl appeared. I quickly ordered the Cacao Wow! (with an exclamation point!) porter after she handed me the menu. She poured my beer and gave it to me hastily asking if I had a nut allergy and then told me she had to leave and if it was okay to close out my tab. I was flustered with the quickness of it all and was like okay. The glass she gave me first wasn't a pint as the menu said, but I get that some beers are poured in different glasses. But the lady gave me 85% head in my drink. It took about 15 minutes for the head to come down because she poured it so badly. I could have asked for a different beer or to try try again at her pouring skills but she again was leaving. She closed me out and gave my change back to the wrong person. A big guy sitting two bar stools over and he just looked at me and laughed and was like 'I think this is yours, sorry.' Incredibly unprofessional. I enjoyed the beer for what was even poured. Would have been nice to get a full glass lol. I really let everything go because it was $6 plus tip but it just set me in a bad mood and I really was looking forward to checking the spot out. read more

THE BURGER IS GONE!!! This place used to have the best restaurant style burger, but for some reason they have taken it off the menu and replaced it with a "Smash Burger", which looks and tastes like someone tried to poorly recreate McDonald's at home. It is disgusting. Guessing it's 2 frozen patties with shitty Kraft cheese. It's making me sick as I eat this. I don't know if they were trying to cut costs or what, but it's a sad day to lose one of the best burgers in the neighborhood. Hopefully they change it back. read more

The beer is good (especially their IPAs) while the food is fairly run-of-the-mill bar food, and difficult to endorse when the surrounding area is such a wealth of excellent restaurants. Most importantly though, on Sundays they have one TV tuned to literally every NFL game. My understanding is they do similar things with soccer and likely other sports as well. Has the feel of a casual neighborhood sports bar, but with significantly better beer than you'd get at most of those. read more

The server, Marisa was terrific, polite and knowledgeable .The food was very good, I had the ChiIl and the Shepard Pie and my brother had the Pretzel.This place is a brewery and the have a huge menu.The place is very clean and many TV's for sports.They also pipe some music like Classic Rock.
