One of the BEST burgers in Williamsburg!! You'll find Rick & Pete's at the back of Mugs Ale House, where they're serving up authentic comfort food from burgers to sandwiches to wings and more! Def don't miss out on the mozzarella sticks either... So good!! You can tell everything is made with taste and satisfaction in mind. Rick and Pete are super nice too. They have lots of experience as chefs in NYC, and you can tell they care a lot about the food they serve. It's a standard sports bar vibe, relaxed and good to watch a game or have a few drinks with friends.

Good vibes. Lots of TVs and they play all the college football games. Good beer selection and other drinks. Nachos were solid. Had fun.

An old favorite of mine from the indie rock days when my rehearsal space was just down the street. Now it's reborn with the same swerve. Audrey's set list is clutch and there's a an old pay phone where you can call your dad if your cell phone is dead. BONUS: pay phone is free. If you still have romance in your life, give it a chance. ;)

Mugs Ale House is a solid choice for a pub. I came in last Tuesday night and was happy that I decided to have dinner, a few drinks and watch the end of an MLB playoff game here (Red Sox Win!). Mugs Ale House has a good selection for drafts and a very well stocked bar. The food menu was also decent with a good selection of what you might want to order at a pub. I sat at the bar and the service was exceptional. The decor was the classic pub style. For my meal, I ordered a skirt steak with mashed potatoes and it was exactly what I was expecting. For drinks, I had two different IPA's and was happy with both. I also ordered a couple of Jameson's ... There was an excellent selection of whiskey if I had wanted something that was not basic. All in all, I was not blown away, but I definitely recommend Mugs Ale House. In summary, I would be a regular if I lived within 8 blocks.

The spacious outdoor patio is a huge plus!

I joined a coed softball league over the summer that was designed specifically for singles. Hey, don't judge...desperate times call for desperate measures. Mugs Ale House was our sponsor bar, so all 144 of us strolled in every Saturday for pretty much the whole summer after our weekly Saturday games. We were dirty. We were smelly. We were loud and obnoxious. Let's face it...we were assholes. But that didn't stop the waitresses from taking our orders and the other patrons from congratulating us on our wins (okay, we didn't win much). Honestly, this bar deserves 5 stars just for dealing with us every week. Mugs has a very impressive beer selection, with a TON of local/microbrewery options. I appreciate this, because anything Anheuser/MillerCoors makes me want to vom. The food menu is pretty vegetarian/vegan friendly. They changed their menu not too long ago and there's definitely an improvement in the variety of options available. Way to go Mugs! All in all, great service, great beer, and great food...all conveniently located on Bedford. What more could you ask for? Did I mention that I have a huge crush on the waitress with the avocado tattoo?

Came here a few weeks ago because I saw they had buffalo wings and I'm a sucker for buffalo wings. How are the wings here, you ask? Amazing! There's also a great beer selection and the service was great. I'll definitely come back.

Lovely staff. Good beer list, a decent price for a well poured pint of the black stuff.

As someone who has come to this bar regularly to watch Knicks playoff games, I can confidently say…read moreI will never return after what happened during the NBA Finals last night. What this bar pulled was completely unacceptable. They were openly reserving seats at the bar for certain people while telling everyone else they were unavailable. There was no advertised reservation policy, no advance notice, and no opportunity offered to regular customers. Apparently, the only way to get a seat is to know the owner, know the bartenders, or be part of the inner circle. What made it even worse was that my group had been sitting at the bar, ordering food and drinks starting around 7:30 PM, only to be forced out of our seats at 7:45 PM. The reservation signs on those seats clearly stated they were reserved for 8:15 PM. We were paying customers actively spending money, yet we were removed 30 minutes before the supposed reservation time. That is absolutely egregious behavior. I've worked in sports bars and have owned sports bars in New York City. In all my years in the business, I have never heard of reserving seats directly at the bar--especially during a major sporting event. It goes against everything that makes a sports bar successful. Bar seats have always been first-come, first-served. That's Sports Bar 101. I've spent plenty of money here over the years because it was always a great place to watch big games: good atmosphere, sound on the TVs, and a fun crowd. Unfortunately, last night proved that customer loyalty means absolutely nothing. Regular patrons were treated like second-class citizens while preferred customers received special treatment. For a bar that markets itself as a neighborhood sports destination, this was incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. If you're planning to watch a major game here, don't assume you'll be treated fairly. Unless you're friends with the right people, don't expect the same experience as everyone else. There are plenty of other sports bars in Brooklyn that understand how to treat customers. After last night, I'll be spending my money there instead. I won't be back, and I certainly won't be recommending this place to anyone. Let's Go Knicks
