The other customers there were great, but never in my life have I met such a rude bartender. The bartender was extremely rude from the second we stepped in, hadn't even talked to her yet and when she came up to us she was so mean every single time we got another round. We were not drunk or loud and we were sitting outside so genuinely could not have done anything to bother her. At the end of the night she looks at us and says "you guys can go" in the sassiest tone because she needed to clean up outside. There were so many other ways to approach that topic but she chose the rudest possible way. So here is her tip: Do NOT work a customer service job if you can't even pretend to be kind. Love coming here and watching games, but whether it's a chill Monday evening or a wild Saturday afternoon, they never have more than 2 servers. Currently here and have been sitting waiting a table for over 40 minutes to order food and drinks. Honestly insane, and this always happens. No clue why they don't just add QR codes to order from and just use their 2 servers to serve food and drinks. They would make so much more money. The service was a bit lacking and slow, our drinks took a little too long to get to us and our water never got refilled. We only got appetizers here but it was pretty good. Esp the fried pickles. The nachos seemed to be lacking something though. It felt like it needed more melted cheese. They have good portions of fries and tater tots though. The drinks were probably the best part. Was walking around Downtown Brooklyn recently after a few years. Ever since leaving downtown Manhattan for Queens, I don't venture around Brooklyn as much. As I perused the various new high rises, I stumbled across this large sports bar that was connected to the Ashland and the overall Gotham Market. The bar is pretty nice sized and has a lot of outdoor space and indoor space for playing games. Lot of cool merch too, including some old school Knicks gear. Ironically, there's a lot more Knicks gear than Nets lol. But overall, it's a cool vibe and I'd recommend for anyone in the area. read more

This was a neat spot to stop by randomly for a beer on a random Saturday in the middle of the day. The place was very empty. We sat at the bar. They have outlets which was super useful given the fact my phone was dead. I ordered a beer (KCBC Superhero Sidekick). Pretty tasty. I tried two others ones, I think were the "Grimm light year" and "Five Burroughs," but clearly didn't like those two as much as the other one's. I thought their beer selection was VERY vast, including their draft beers. We didn't eat or do anything else besides the one beer so this is a very focused review.
