Fulton Hall is a great spot in Downtown BK / Barclay's Arena area for grabbing some drinks and eats. I met a buddy here for food and drinks and we had a great time. The people who greeted us were friendly and sat us quickly. Our server was great and was attentive at taking drink orders and getting us food, etc. We ordered a bunch of cocktails from beers and mixed drinks, to more complex things like Old Fashions. Our drinks were great, as was the food. We got a couple of orders of wings and they were really tasty. I liked the overall vibe of the place. It was spacious, lively, good music, etc. It seemed like a place anyone could come in and have a good time and with no pretention. I definitely will come back soon. read more

I love this place! The service is always attentive and fast. On games day it can be packed, but if you are there early enough you can find a spot. The food is always good and they have a great menu for happy hour. Plenty of space to go with friends or if you want to hang alone, there are plenty of people to "people watch". read more

If you enjoy low key bars/restaurants, then this is the place for you. I went to meet my cousins/friends on a Sunday to watch tennis/grab apps and this place was perfect for that. The atmosphere and crowd was on point and it was super relaxing. There's outdoor seating and also another area that sells fare from other restaurants. It's a little confusing, but it works. The apps we ordered were tasty (fried pickles, fries, and popcorn chicken) and hit the spot. These are the way fried pickles need to be served always! I've been searching for perfectly cut and crispy fried pickles all summer. Staff was inattentive and they had to be waved down, but were friendly. That's the only problem I had with Fulton Hall. I'd definitely check this place out again to watch other sports games. read more

There aren't a lot of sports bars around, and while this isn't a typical sport bar, it is a solid place to watch games. Beer and drink selection is great and the food is pretty good as well. Good amount of seating and there's even a pool table and board games if you're looking to do something other than watch sports. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. We went in twice and had to leave both times because we were never waited on. They only have one waitstaff for the entire restaurant, so if there's any type of crowd, you'll never get any service. Management seriously needs to address this issue, or this restaurant won't survive. We won't be returning and recommend you save your time and frustration by going elsewhere. It's a shame because the area could really use a good sports bar. read more

Went to watch the Yankees in the American League Championship and they refused to put on the audio. In New York City. For a Playoff Game. For the Yankees that they so proudly claim they also cheer for. I repeat: a New York sports bar refused to play the game's audio. The excuse was audio for games upsets other patrons. Not kidding. Meanwhile everyone was there to watch the New York Yankees at a New York "sports bar". How can you call yourself a New York sports bar when the Yankees are in the playoffs and you refuse to put the audio on even though that's what everyone wants? The people working there blamed it on the bar's policy but they should know when an important game like, ya know, the Yankees in the playoffs, is worth turning the damn audio on. Otherwise, food is good and staff is friendly. Really unfortunate they don't know how to be a real New York sports bar. My local New York friends were making fun of the fact that any other real sports bar would've had the game on loud as hell. Typical newcomer Brooklyn fake-ness. Not quite sure what they're going for here. The space used to be Mason Jar BK, which was easy to understand. BBQ, beer, and cocktails served in mason jars. And now, they've kinda closed it up from the main area with some doors, made it really dark, added a pool table, jet ski's, an arcade machine that was turned off, and some random surfboards. All with very, very loud music. It's like a sports bar, but not. A place where you play games, but there aren't that many. Basically, it's a poor approximation of Atlantic Social that does all these things better. The beer and cocktail selection also isn't great. The Flamingo in the main food hall area is way better in both aspects. But hey, they've got a great front sidewalk area. read more

I like the atmosphere and environment. The bar is good. Whole are is spacious and with outdoor seating. I maybe in the minority but this place has lack of various or lack of options of food. I know there is a sushi bar inside the food hall but where I sat, typical bar food and not a variety. That's why it's 3stars for me. read more

Why does this place have 5 stars from the average of all the current reviews? Something seems fishy here.. Am I the odd man out? You be the judge. We came in on a Saturday afternoon to get something to eat and drink, with the outside looking very welcoming. Booming tall windows accompanying the cathedral-like ceiling with the open layout made the corner entrance inviting and made the 'hall' seem like THE place to be. With no booths facing the front available, we sat in the back on high tables and chairs. No one else was there besides us and a snowmobile in summer, of all things. Sure I can appreciate decor, but what an decisively odd choice. Prices were expensive for the mediocre food we received. I suspect the high prices were aimed for the folks coming from the BAM events around the corner. 'Elevated bar food' it is NOT! My $14 burger came in the form of a sad looking puck which seemed frozen 6.5 minutes before. I can tell since the patty was really round and really flat --see the accompanying photo. In retrospect, when I ordered, the server mentioned that the patty was 4 ounces and suggested doubling up for an additional $5. No thanks back then and no thanks in retrospect. I had cheese on the side and there were particles of squiggly lint I had to pick off from one of them. Glad I ordered them on the side! Fries were average. The wings were okay, but nothing to call home about. I would have preferred a choice in heat level, but nothing was suggested. No texture either. The pickle platter was just mediocre. I can't distinguish one pickle from another, if that makes any sense. Service was excellent until our server decided to go on break and another took her place. No warning or notice given. Thanks for the courtesy! It was kind of weird watching our original server eat her food while I ate too. Not impressed. read more

When I sat down, the server kinda gave me a look when I said I'd wait until my friends arrived in a few minutes to order something. Kinda left me a bad impression. After that, service was just okay - again, not particularly friendly or engaging - and though it was a Friday evening, it wasn't so busy. Menu, as stated in other reviews, is very limited. My team came here after an offsite to have some food and beverages. Service was quite good as we kept ordering drinks and food. I tried the mac and cheese which was super cheesy and would've been really good with some bread, brussels sprouts which were super lemony, overcooked, burnt to the point where most of them were black and basically inedible, grilled cheese which was overcooked and the bread was quite hard, and the buffalo cauliflower which was flavorful. I also had a lemonade but it was super watered down. The food portions are average but prices are a bit high, especially for the quality. read more

Gorgeous space with a lot of potential that's sadly underutilized. There's a few well-placed TVs but IMO there should be more. Too much tacky sports memorabilia clutters up the walls (also light bulbs in overhead lighting need to be replaced and what's with the giant filthy American flag?). A lower level with a pool table that goes mostly unused and a random snow mobile (although kids seem to love it lol) would also be a great spot for more TVs and seating. Weirdly half the beers on tap were kicked on the day we went leaving few options. Food is decidedly meh. On the plus side, the staff is super friendly and helpful and the bar is in a great location. We ordered delivery wings from here recently because we had just watched a Bon Appetit video where Alex Dulaney eats and ranks a bunch of Buffalo wings in Buffalo, NY and needed to eat Buffalo wings immediately. So we ordered 6 each of the Buffalo, smoky barbeque, and habanero. And for fun also got the mozzarella sticks and the tots. The best wings were the Buffalo. The Buffalo sauce was perfection - both tangy from the hot sauce with that signature creamy texture from the butter. The wings were also super tender and juicy. The habanero was also tender and juicy but didn't have a ton of flavor besides just being spicy. Good but the Buffalo was so flavorful that it was hard not to have a preference for those. The smoky barbeque won't tasted amazing BUT, because they were smoked, they were actually a bit dry and tough for me. If they had the regular juicy wings with the barbeque sauce on it, I'd be all in on that though. But as is, it was a not harder for me to eat, especially in direct comparison with the Buffalo and habanero wings. The mozzarella sticks were amazing here because they took actually hunks of mozarella and cut them into stick shape before battering and frying. The result was the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had probably. Lots of flavor in the cheese and the batter was crispy and delightful, even after delivery. The tots were also great! read more

Fulton Hall is such a perfect place for a casual hangout with buddies (both large and small groups). It is centrally located a mere 5 minutes from Atlantic-Barclays, it is within walking distance of a million things you could want and maybe need (Trader Joe's, Alamo Drafthouse, to name a few), and it is the magic trifecta of a food and beverage serving business: good food, good drinks, good service. They have a food selection for everyone: wings, dope burgers, small plates that are perfect for sharing. They also have tons of different beers and cocktails on their menu but they also have a fully stocked bar, so they can whip you up anything you ask for, pretty much. There's plenty of space (booth seats, long benches, bar seating) as well as a sick pool table in the back area. The bathrooms are located behind the little food court and are super clean. And best of all, the staff are so congenial and helpful! read more

This is a GREAT place to watch football games. In search of a bar since our beloved Plan B closed, we stumbled upon this place and it's an excellent, slightly more upscale bar with good food, decent service, and a nice atmosphere. I've been here a couple times now and the wings are solid. The burgers looked great and I'll be trying one the next time I go back. The snacks and fare are bar food oriented but with higher prices than you might like. They have a nice beer/cider selection and a full bar with a cocktail list. They plan at least three different NFL games during the height of the season but it's still pretty lowkey for games. It's a nice chill atmosphere and I really like the decor. This is probably my favorite sports bar in NYC. Just opened up. Good for big games as well as hanging out. The Impossible Burger heads up an awesome selection of vegetarian options to go with great burgers and wings. The sports memorabilia is second to none: vintage Dodgers, Jets, Giants, Knicks to also a snowmobile!?, surfboards, signed tennis rackets and jerseys. Some from the pros, some from local high schools. The guy who greeted me was very knowledgeable, and said he used to be a competitive sea captain off Montauk. Another fellow in there said he was a pro Bass fisherman ...Eclectic sports crowd! Ask for 'Carrie' she is very nice and seems to be in charge. Bonus points if you spot Spike! read more

I live in the building and am pretty disappointed with Fulton Hall after it reopened. The food is just eh, okay. The chicken and waffle on the brunch menu is a super small serving, and the chicken is bland. The burger is just okay and you have to pay $1 for every topping. But what I would REALLY like to see go are the large swimsuit model posters. Fulton Hall could make a better statement by finding more images of women playing actual sports. I'm a mom of a young girl, and the message you're sending her and her peers is outdated, douchey, and wrong. This is 2018 Brooklyn, not 1985 suburban man cave. UPDATE: I added two stars to my original review and would like to thank Fulton Hall for taking down the tacky posters and even putting the poster of the woman playing tennis in a more prominent spot! It means a lot and I appreciate the positive response during a time where everything else feels mostly like the twilight zone. read more

It's simply Horrible FOOD!! Over cooked, Greasy, not hot, bad Kale Salad looks like beat up before it arrived to my table for me.. Calamari was hard, greasy & cold, over cooked as well as the French fried were not fresh but probably given to me from under a warmer heater and not freshly cooked when I ordered it.. the only decent thang about this place is the cocktails & the TV's.. I know it's a sports bar but damn the food is like they don't care what ppl like or catering to young ppl of the new generation/gentrifications area BC they don't know what good food really is!!! Went here with friends to watch the Duke vs UNC game, and was surprised by how not crowded it was (maybe there are more popular sports bars in the area)? We sat at a booth so that we could watch the game and share food. We started with drinks and appetizers to share: though we ordered the chicken tenders, since I'm vegetarian I only ate the nachos, fried pickle chips, and onion rings. These were all very tasty and filling! My friends said that the chicken tenders were very salty. In terms of drinks, I had a Moscow mule and a paloma. Both good, though I think the Moscow mule could have been made stronger. I ordered an additional buffalo cauliflower for myself (no blue cheese). The texture was good, but they were the saltiest things I've had in a long time! A friend also ordered a Caesar salad, and said that it was drenched in dressing. In terms of service, the staff was very hands off. We had to flag them down multiple times to order additional drinks and food, which was surprising given that the place was not very filled. There is a pool table, but we did not play. We were watching the game, but also, there was what looked like a private party taking up that space. There are 2 bathrooms. They only get two stars from me because the food is consistently on the very low end of mediocre. I recently ordered a 'Turkey Club' for $14. It was a sad, little thin sandwich and literally a handful or crumbled potato chips. (see photo). For $14, I was expected at least not the bottom of a bag of crunchy up Lays. The service is equally terrible. I usually have to follow the server around to ask for anything. Although, probably not their fault--there's one server for the whole restaurant. Fulton Hall is such a great addition to the neighborhood. Great beer selection, delicious appetizers, pleasant and professional staff. It is part of the food hall, so can wonder around. The place has open layout and high ceiling and feels very spacious. So I usually don't seek things to complain BUT since I've been to Fulton Hall a number of times and it was pretty cool, I felt the need to leave one now because I was totally disappointed., I visited yesterday *a Sunday*, a few people were at the bar & sitting in some booths. Not crowded or packed at all. I sat at the bar, A couple of minutes passed and neither of the two bartenders even bothered to greet me, let alone look my way. Both were Caucasian * The second bartender/server looked at me dead in the eyes and looked away, not even greeting me or asking if I wanted anything! She basically ignored me. After another minute or so went by I caught the guy bartenders eye *second go round* and he finally gave a small stiff hello, and I finally ordered. I could tell it was just plain weird energy! I was THE ONLY black girl at the bar. I don't know if it was a race issue but I definitely will NOT BE BACK ON A SUNDAY. Really disappointed! Also I should note that both bartenders were having casual conversations with everyone else seated at the bar! *Side Note: Got the Buffalo wings and a Stella. Wings were decent. This was a nice place to hang out on a Saturday afternoon. They have high ceilings and natural light coming in. The US Open finals were playing. Place was clean and service was pretty good.
