New watermelon drinks
Lynn M.

New matcha and watermelon drinks added on their menu. Service is on point as usual! :)

Nice Boba spot in Walnut. Ordered: Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea Kumquat Lemon Iced Tea Both drinks were refreshing and fruity. I am regular customer at the Ontario location. I am glad this location is closer to home. Ambiance is nice. Great place to telecommute, do schoolwork and have a group hangout. Friendly Staff. Great Service.

I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Oat Milk ($6.13 - 70% Sugar) at R&B Tea (Walnut). Its boba pearls are sweet, bouncy, and fresh. The liquid is refreshing & generous. When mixed thoroughly, the Brown Sugar Boba Oat Milk tastes phenomenal. Its sweetness reminded me of playful cereal while its body carried that rich oat milk flavor. It's delightful. I arrived at R&B Tea (Walnut) on Wednesday (around 8:15PM). Staff is very knowledgable, tactful, and helpful. Staff politely answered my questions, and staff kindly assisted me with deciding my drink's sugar level. Staff took about one minute to complete my order. Very fast!!! Regarding R&B Tea (Walnut's) ambiance, its interior is comfortable, attractive, and welcoming. The wall artwork is beautiful. The tables and floors are very clean. The location is well-ventilated. And upbeat, relaxing music played. There's even a corner that holds a couple game materials (ex: Jenga, cards). R&B Tea (Walnut) is located across the street from Mt. San Antonio College; however, its corner spot dramatically lowers its visibility. For example, there are instances where I just forget about R&B Tea (Walnut's) existence because it fades effortlessly into its environment. If I were to nitpick R&B Tea (Walnut), I need to mention the self-checkout machine. It's touchscreen is covered in many blotchy fingerprints and smudgy old marks. R&B Tea (Walnut) needs to be more diligent in wiping/cleaning that surface. Thankfully, everything else at R&B Tea (Walnut) looked very clean. Overall, I had a very memorable, delightful experience R&B Tea (Walnut). The Brown Sugar Boba Oat Milk ($6.13 - 70% Sugar) at R&B Tea (Walnut) is competitively prices, well-portioned, refreshing, and tasty. The boba is also delightful. If thirsty or craving boba, R&B Tea (Walnut) is a very easy recommendation. 4.85 out of 5

MATCHA STORMY and Jasmine green tea with added boba and cheese foam
Xue Vee Y.

R&B Tea offers a variety of drinks from fruit teas, milk teas, to blended drinks. Guests order from a tablet at the counter and the employees call your number when your drink is ready. I ordered a jasmine green tea with cheese foam and a matcha stormy. The jasmine tea was sweetened just right and the cheese foam added the perfect balance. The matcha stormy was harder to drink because it had large chunks of ice in it and could have been blended smoother. There are a few 2-4 person tables inside for guests to enjoy their drinks as well as a high top table. Wi-Fi is available for those who want to study/work. When we were there, people were playing table games so it wasn't the quietest place to work but I appreciate the space. Parking can be a bit tight since it's a busy complex.

STRAWBERRY MATCHA LATTE

This place is amazing and bomb af and it is my go to place when I have to lock in. Also there a good amount of seating and lounge area

Service was quick, but beware of the Gen Z attitude, it is next to Mt. SAC. It's a cool spot, I messed up and got a Vietnamese coffee, not their specialty. It wasn't bad, but I should have got one of the more popular items. I'm definitely coming back to redeem myself, their cheese cake foam was delicious on the coffee, but the coffee was mehhh, so definitely getting a boba. I ordered through a kiosk, no one greeted me, they didn't even call out my name for the order either. I was randomly walking by and saw my drink. So be prepared with real social distancing. The place was nice able to put post its on the board, ample seating and there were several groups hanging out when I came, so it seems popular.

My goodness, the buttered crab was freaking fantastic, the eel was great, the lemon pepper salmon delicious. We need to get Atoyubu out into the mainstream, we need them to be on every street corner. I was so hyped eating these little pockets of flavor that I couldn't stop. I think next time I'll have to order 100. But in all honesty, for a single person 3-4 is perfect amount, they are packed with rice and a great deal of toppings, and each flavor is better than the last. Ambiance inside the restaurant is super chill and great for a little date or to bring the whole family and chow down. Love this place overall 11/10, hope they stick around and blow up!!!

I ordered their rice pockets, but they were almost entirely filled with rice and contained only a tiny, minuscule amount of fish. The portion sizes are very small, especially when compared to the high prices and what you get at other similar places that sell these types of pockets. I also tried the spicy version, and it was waaaay too spicy, to the point where it completely overpowered everything, and I couldn't taste the fish at all. On top of that, the ordering process is a hassle. They don't take phone orders anymore, forcing you to do everything online, which is just cumbersome and inconvenient. When I went to pick up my food, the service was kind of cold. The staff basically just hand you the bag without a word, yet the payment system still expects you to leave a tip. Really? For just passing a bag over the counter? No thanks. Between the lackluster portions, over-the-top spice, inconvenient ordering, and cold service, I won't be coming back.

This looked like a big ol' farm store and from the second I saw it, I was pretty darn excited. This large store features ample parking, tables outside, and a petting zoo that didn't actually have any animals, but maybe they were just inside. The shop itself is full of baked goods, clothing, drinks, and literally everything else you can usually find at a farm style store. I was super tempted to pick up a bunch of chocolate when walking around, but since it was pretty hot outside I had to settle for the farms own Orange Juice and a big fat rice crispy treat with chocolate and pretzel on top. The orange juice was OH SO refreshing on this hot day and the rice crispy treat was really good as well. Overall, The Cal Poly Pomona Farm Store is a great place to stop and pick up a few things. I really liked the two things I picked up and I can definitely see stopping back here the next time i'm in Pomona!

We were interest in seeing what they had in store, since we've never stopped by before. We parks on the grass field and walked towards the vendors first. We bought some fruits and vegetables from the student farm stand (what a steal!) and it was a great feeling knowing that we were supporting the Cal Poly Pomona students. The produce was grown and picked by the CPP students. We also were able to purchase honey from CPP; the honey was produced at the school and jarred by students. There were about 8 food trucks. After we took a walk around, we went into the farm store. It was packed with people and the line was snaked around the interior of the store. I've never seen so many varieties of tomato plants or this many people interested in purchasing plants. We didn't walk away with a tomato plant this time around, but perhaps next time. It was lovely experience.

There were plenty of parking as it's in a shared plaza. For the store, it's a moderate size but it was definitely busy at the time we went. For ordering, you'll need to order at the counter before sitting down. After browsing the menu, we decided on the pink vodka pasta and the rich miso pasta (Taiwanese sausage added). American Express is accepted as a payment option. The staff gave us a number to place on the table we sat at but we were free to grab any seat we liked. For seating, there were a few tables for parties of two and limited tables for bigger groups. Keep in mind if you need water or extra napkins, they'll have those near the bar seating. Both the Pink Vodka Pasta and Rich Miso Pasta exceeded our expectations! The miso pasta leans on the creamy side but pairs very well with the pink vodka pasta. The miso pasta didn't come with any protein by default, so we were glad that we added the Taiwanese sausage. Fun fact is that the meatball from the Pink Vodka Pasta is vegan! The portion size was super generous from both dishes and was beyond just two people. I wasn't expecting to discover pasta dishes that I'd consider as one of my favorites from this visit! I'll definitely come back to try other dishes.

The layout of the store was very interesting because it looked like a mini market, and they sell fresh exotic fruits and snacks. Ordering a yogurt was a bit confusing because I did not see any pricing, but they had some instructions on how to order. Step 1: Choose dry Greek yogurt. Step 2: Pick up your fresh fruits (limit 3 items). Step 3: Choose Topping (Oats, coconut chips, or boom boom pearl). Step 4: Honey or Dark Chocolate My daughter picked a small jar of Organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt. Then she picked green grapes, mangos, and strawberries for her yogurt bowl. And we also picked boom boom pearl for topping, and chose honey at the end. Then the lady told me that the price was $24.08. It was pricey. I don't understand their pricing or explanation, even though I have the receipt. She told me that it took about 10-15 minutes to make it. Honestly, for the small jar of organic blue spirulina with coconut dry yogurt, it tasted a bit sour, and I was not a fan of it. The presentation of the yogurt was nice; however, for the price that we paid, it was still a bit ripped off. The fruits were fresh, and the boom boom pearl tasted like popping boba was interesting. The Greek Yogurt was a bit too thick. I would rather go to the Açaí bowl place to have more fresh fruit and a bigger portion. The lady was friendly and helpful. But I would rather go to Açaí bowl and Yogurtland combined next time. P.S. I forgot to mention that they were out of honey, so no honey in the yogurt bowl.

This was the most helpful gift because I didn't need to think about what to eat each day. The portions were extremely generous, where sometimes my husband could eat my leftovers. At first, I was worried that the flavors would be too herbal, but I got the classic meal and it was like homemade comfort food from a traditional Chinese restaurant (not like a takeout Chinese restaurant). One watch out is you definitely need a lot of freezer space because they ship these meals when we at a time. We have a second freezer, but it would fill up 1/3 of it since each day includes one beverage, two soups, two entrées, two vegetables, two rice, one omelette, one breakfast porridge, and two desserts. We live in Chicago, so they are able to ship anywhere on the US. They text you each week before shipping, so if you do need to delay a week if you're not able to get through all of the meals, they can work with your schedule. Preparing the meals were super easy. Each food was individually, packaged, and labeled. You just cut it open, put it in a bowl, and use your microwave "cook frozen entree" setting to cook. While the price is premium, when you are getting it shipped, the convenience and quality make it very worth it! I know the nutrition and the reduce stress of figuring out how to feed myself during the first few weeks helped my recovery. Highly recommend!!
