I was craving coconut jelly from another popular place but didn't want to make the drive and opted for this place. To my surprise it was DELICIOUS and satisfied my cravings. It's super soft and a little denser than the other popular place which i did like that day so I could munch abit and enjoy the flavor more rather than just slurping it fast. The drinks and jelly were amazing! The mango sago was such a unique drink, really nice mango flavor and I loved the texture of the sago. There was a good amount of seating and it was very comfortable to stay and sit down to enjoy our drinks! The service was friendly, however on both occasions I visited we did have to wait a while to be serviced, but I think that was due to only one person working there. Coconut Jelly King has arrived in the City of Walnut. It resides within the Lemon Creek Village. I've known this coconut brand for years even before its competitors. Upon entry, there were no customers inside the shop. Great seating space. It was very clean. The young gentleman who helped us was patient as we were deciding on which jars of coconut to buy. It was towards the end of the evening so the coconut jelly selections were limited. Luckily, they had the flavors that my daughters and I usually get. Here are they are... Double coconut jelly Taro cococut jelly Hazelnut cococut jelly Matcha coconut jelly I believe they changed the recipes on their coconut jelly flavors. Unfortunately, the overall taste was bland. Wanted to try this place since I always pass the store. I really enjoyed the coconut flavor, it reminded me of my childhood. The jelly is very silky and smooth. Be careful to make sure the jelly doesn't fall off the spoon since it can be quite slippery. The jar is great quality, I will be reusing them for other drinks and desserts! I around 11:30 am on a Sunday but the store was closed so I went to do some shopping in the plaza. When I walked back to my car, I saw a young man opening the doors a little after 12 noon. I asked if they opened at 12 on Sundays and he nodded so maybe the hours on Yelp need to be updated? The coconut jelly was already sitting in the display case so they aren't made to order. Since it was my first time, I asked if he could recommend a coconut jelly for me. He pointed to the taro. The cost varies depending on what flavor you choose. The taro one was $10.99, which I thought was pricey but I went with his recommendation. Taste-wise, the coconut was smooth and not overly sweet but I didn't like the grainy texture of the taro. I normally enjoy taro desserts/drinks, but I would choose a different flavor next time. The inside is very clean and well kept but service could be friendlier. Parking is easy to find in the plaza. This time I ordered a double coconut which just means it's only coconut inside and one taro which has taro and coconut in the glass jar. Overall the flavor of the taro was pleasant and tasty! I wanted to like this place, nice little desserts not to sweet and non dairy.....so we thought. My wife has an extremely bad allergy to dairy, symptoms can include dizziness, vertigo, congestion, and headaches. She didn't finish her jelly, she said it tasted funny and immediately after she had dizziness and vertigo. My son also has issue with dairy but not to that extreme and he experienced heavy gas, so which brings the question...? Is it 100% coconut creme, is it a lie. Had the product tested for lactose and well it was off the charts, I will not be buying anything from this place ever again. Came here with my sister around 7pm on a Monday evening to get some dessert and there was no line. They recently had a grand opening, so I'm hopeful that they'll be successful. Credit cards accepted. They were silky and perfect for a hot day. The matcha flavor was light, and the red bean was more robust. I've been to their Rowland Heights location and as much as I loved their coconut jelly, I hadn't been back due to the location with the hectic parking situation. I was super happy to hear that they had a second location with spacious parking. I'm not sure if all locations got a revamp, but they definitely got a logo and interior revamp. I had a pleasant experience here, but as I was about to walk out, I overheard two people who wanted to order boba had to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for the boba to be ready. I believe shops should either be transparent that their boba will not be ready by opening hours or just prep the boba in time so it's ready in case anyone wants to order it right when they open. I came in around 12:45 p.m., so the fact that the boba wasn't ready yet, it was quite shocking to hear that it would still take almost half an hour for it to be done cooking. They did not have any durian crepe cake available. Considering we were there about an hour after they opened, I doubt they had already sold out. Kinda annoying when something is on the menu, but not always available. .. A few of the tables looked as if they had been previously used, but we're not cleaned off. There were no other customers the entire time we were there.. so it's not like they were so busy or those tables were just recently vacated. .. While the mango was very fresh, they cut them into rather large chunks. See photo if you're curious. This might be a personal preference, but I think it would've been easier to eat if they were smaller. .. It took over quite a bit for us to receive our order (at least 5+ mins). Located in the end corner of a plaza, it is easily missed if you are driving in the area. The place is really simple and clean. They have selections of coconut based desserts and drinks. I love the fact that they come in these glass jars and cute bear spoons. If the dessert is too much to finish at once, you can cap the jar and have it another time. Yay. My go-to is the Mango- Coconut Jelly. The fresh mango paired with the coconut make the dessert light and refreshing. Staff there are nice and spends their time explaining the content of each jar if you are curious. Would recommend trying if you are a coconut fan. read more

They are very similar to melo melo. They basically sell the same items but with lesser options. I tried their peach gum coconut jelly and i love it. I went again and tried their whole coconut jelly but the serving is kind of small. Overall the taste of it is no better than melo melo. The best coconut jelly ever! I've tried lots of different places like Melo Melo, Phoenix, Hui Lau Shan, and Yu Cake. This place has the best balance of flavors. My go-to is double coconut because I am a fiend for young coconuts (the green kind) - if that's not your thing you won't like this place as much because their coconut jelly is less sweet (it has the richness of coconut milk tho). I also taste a bit of almond in their jelly. Service is OK. They are a bit slow. The cafe is needlessly huge IMO. It's very roomy but at least there is plenty of space if you wanna hang. When I go it is usually empty. I also had the mango, matcha, and blueberry. I think the worst was the blueberry since the blueberry layer was very thin and since it's real blueberry and not blueberry jam, it has a really rough texture with the blueberry skins. Mango was so full of mango - even Hui Lau Shan doesn't give as much (and they're famous for their mango)! read more

Yummy! I have been wanting to try this new trending coconut jelly dessert for a while. We got to try the strawberry coconut jelly with my 2 yo. We all loved it. The texture is like a soft tofu but with a slight crunch. The taste of coconut is perfect. The strawberry pieces on top were too big but you can ask them to cut it smaller.
