Coconut Jelly King has arrived in the City of Walnut. It resides within the Lemon Creek Village. I've known this coconut brand for years even before its competitors. Upon entry, there were no customers inside the shop. Great seating space. It was very clean. The young gentleman who helped us was patient as we were deciding on which jars of coconut to buy. It was towards the end of the evening so the coconut jelly selections were limited. Luckily, they had the flavors that my daughters and I usually get. Here are they are... Double coconut jelly Taro cococut jelly Hazelnut cococut jelly Matcha coconut jelly I believe they changed the recipes on their coconut jelly flavors. Unfortunately, the overall taste was bland. It was like eating watered down jelly. My daughters felt the same. I probably won't be back to this location. Thanks Coconut Jelly King!

The spot is located in a plaza with lots of parking next to Wells Fargo. When you enter they have an astronaut them going on, super cute! The service was quick I enjoyed this place a lot more than Melo Melo. Although its competitor has a wider range of flavors, the consistency, texture, and flavors of the coconut desserts wins. We got the blueberry coconut dessert and it doesn't taste artificial, it seems to be authentic fruit. The matcha coconut drink was very good and not too sweet, you could still taste the earthiness of the matcha

Wanted to try this place since I always pass the store. I really enjoyed the coconut flavor, it reminded me of my childhood. The jelly is very silky and smooth. Be careful to make sure the jelly doesn't fall off the spoon since it can be quite slippery. The jar is great quality, I will be reusing them for other drinks and desserts! A lot of parking is available! The service was also very fast and kind. I'll have to come back for their egg waffles and flavored jelly.

Coconut Jelly King is one of our favorite dessert places and I'm glad that it's nearby us. Even though this place always look quiet inside, they have delicious dessert and I think majority people just get it to go rather than dine-in. We always get it for to-go and we bought 2 pineapple coconut jelly, 1 double coconut, and 1 matcha coconut jelly yesterday. It was about $32 for 4 desserts. I liked my matcha coconut jelly with some red beans on the side. It was so addictive and not too sweet but flavorful. Service was fast and friendly.

Very tasty and reasonable price (compare to Melo Melo). Coconut jelly was very fresh, smooth and not too sweet. I had durian coconut jelly and the durian was really fresh! Will be back to try other flavor.

I around 11:30 am on a Sunday but the store was closed so I went to do some shopping in the plaza. When I walked back to my car, I saw a young man opening the doors a little after 12 noon. I asked if they opened at 12 on Sundays and he nodded so maybe the hours on Yelp need to be updated? The coconut jelly was already sitting in the display case so they aren't made to order. Since it was my first time, I asked if he could recommend a coconut jelly for me. He pointed to the taro. The cost varies depending on what flavor you choose. The taro one was $10.99, which I thought was pricey but I went with his recommendation. Taste-wise, the coconut was smooth and not overly sweet but I didn't like the grainy texture of the taro. I normally enjoy taro desserts/drinks, but I would choose a different flavor next time. The inside is very clean and well kept but service could be friendlier. Parking is easy to find in the plaza. Credit cards accepted.

Cute little dessert place! Coconut jelly is pretty good. Bit pricey tho. Came here one night for quick dessert for the original coconut jelly in a coconut shell. The jelly had really good flavors and the coconut was cool. Price is kinda high for $9. Service was fast and efficient. Whole place was nice and clean. Parking was ok in the busy plaza.

Coconut Jelly is one of my favorite dessert places when I'm back in the area. There are of course limited amounts of flavors but if you enjoy coconut you will love this dessert. It comes in a glass jar and they have different flavors and it could be seasonal so sometimes it might not be there all the time. This time I ordered a double coconut which just means it's only coconut inside and one taro which has taro and coconut in the glass jar. Overall the flavor of the taro was pleasant and tasty! The lady here was super sweet and answered all my questions when it came to what was available and what wasn't. Also depending on the topping inside it might be a different price. Just FYI when you come here and the menu items are right in front of the cashier area. Or it never hurts to ask! I also got one for my roommate just as a dessert, and it is easy to take back with you.

The consistency of the coconut jelly and sago was delicious and easily melts in your mouth. The mangos were sweet, which was a plus. You do have to wait a few minutes for them to freshly cook/prepare it. Helpful tip is to call ahead to see what they have available since some may sell out. Overall, great dessert!

Family-owned coconut dessert spot in the Vons plaza. They also have teas, pancakes, and cakes (whole ones). Came here with my sister around 7pm on a Monday evening to get some dessert and there was no line. They recently had a grand opening, so I'm hopeful that they'll be successful. Credit cards accepted. Free parking in the plaza. Indoor seating available. We got a red bean coconut jelly and a matcha jelly. The desserts were very similar to Melo-Melo, but a tad less sweet (which was perfect for us). They were silky and perfect for a hot day. The matcha flavor was light, and the red bean was more robust. Overall, really pleasant takeout experience and super tasty desserts - I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the Walnut area!

I've been to their Rowland Heights location and as much as I loved their coconut jelly, I hadn't been back due to the location with the hectic parking situation. I was super happy to hear that they had a second location with spacious parking. I'm not sure if all locations got a revamp, but they definitely got a logo and interior revamp. I had a pleasant experience here, but as I was about to walk out, I overheard two people who wanted to order boba had to wait an additional 20-30 minutes for the boba to be ready. I believe shops should either be transparent that their boba will not be ready by opening hours or just prep the boba in time so it's ready in case anyone wants to order it right when they open. I came in around 12:45 p.m., so the fact that the boba wasn't ready yet, it was quite shocking to hear that it would still take almost half an hour for it to be done cooking. Although they didn't lose my business, they had lost 2 potential customers at that moment. || L O C A T I O N / P A R K I N G || -Cross Streets are La Puente Rd and N Lemon Ave. -Located in the same plaza as Vons, New York Pizzeria, Ramen Ken and Bangkok BBQ. -Spacious plaza with a ton of parking spots || D E S S E R T S || Single Coconut Jelly ($6.99) -Honestly, if you're taking this home to eat, and you can cut up your own fruits, this is the best value in my opinion. I love the texture of their jelly, so smooth and soft. Strawberry Coconut Jelly ($7.99) -Fruits were freshly cut. I know this because the guy taking my order had to go back to the kitchen to prepare this order. Red Bean Coconut Milk ($6.99) -My friend ordered this drink as she is a big fan of anything red bean, but she felt like it wasn't sweet enough (or maybe she just has a sweet tooth in general)

Rather large mango chunks. Kinda makes it slightly more difficult to eat.

Bubble N Cone has been popping up on my suggestions for weeks now, and I've been hesitant to visit because this parking lot can be a mess. But then the great reviews and pictures have been tempting me, so today I decided to finally check it out. While asking about the store and how long they've been around (* just a year), the kid at the counter let me know that the owners are closing shop on Sunday forever. Apparently, they are owned by the folks who own the Paris Baguette next door, and they decided that they didn't want to run it anymore. No lack of business, no moving to another location... Just didn't want to deal with it anymore I guess. This is a bummer because I just had the Taro soft serve and it is perfectly sweet and delicious.
