I was craving coconut jelly from another popular place but didn't want to make the drive and opted for this place. To my surprise it was DELICIOUS and satisfied my cravings. It's super soft and a little denser than the other popular place which i did like that day so I could munch abit and enjoy the flavor more rather than just slurping it fast. It's still very light and smooth though. I tried making it before at home but failed so i recommend just buying it and satisfying your cravings! PS the server was really really sweet! read more

The drinks and jelly were amazing! The mango sago was such a unique drink, really nice mango flavor and I loved the texture of the sago. There was a good amount of seating and it was very comfortable to stay and sit down to enjoy our drinks! The service was friendly, however on both occasions I visited we did have to wait a while to be serviced, but I think that was due to only one person working there. I highly recommend this place, the drinks and jelly are so fresh, perfect to enjoy during warm weather. read more

Coconut Jelly King has arrived in the City of Walnut. It resides within the Lemon Creek Village. I've known this coconut brand for years even before its competitors. Upon entry, there were no customers inside the shop. Great seating space. It was very clean. The young gentleman who helped us was patient as we were deciding on which jars of coconut to buy. It was towards the end of the evening so the coconut jelly selections were limited. Luckily, they had the flavors that my daughters and I usually get. Here are they are... Double coconut jelly Taro cococut jelly Hazelnut cococut jelly Matcha coconut jelly I believe they changed the recipes on their coconut jelly flavors. Unfortunately, the overall taste was bland. The spot is located in a plaza with lots of parking next to Wells Fargo. When you enter they have an astronaut them going on, super cute! I love the jellies because they're refreshing and not too sweet. My favorites are the pineapple coconut and black sesame walnut (reminds me of the dessert soup). Jellies are in a glass jar, or you can get a whole coconut, which is like two desserts in one since they don't hollow it out. read more

Amazing customer service, great fresh organic ingredients, the ambiance is great. I really love the colors and decorations inside. My daughter absolutely loved her drink so much. Wanted to try this place since I always pass the store. I really enjoyed the coconut flavor, it reminded me of my childhood. The jelly is very silky and smooth. Be careful to make sure the jelly doesn't fall off the spoon since it can be quite slippery. The jar is great quality, I will be reusing them for other drinks and desserts! Coconut Jelly King is one of our favorite dessert places and I'm glad that it's nearby us. Even though this place always look quiet inside, they have delicious dessert and I think majority people just get it to go rather than dine-in. We always get it for to-go and we bought 2 pineapple coconut jelly, 1 double coconut, and 1 matcha coconut jelly yesterday. It was about $32 for 4 desserts. I liked my matcha coconut jelly with some red beans on the side. It was so addictive and not too sweet but flavorful. Service was fast and friendly. read more

Yummy coconut jelly, I got the strawberry. The coconut jelly was served in a glass jar and was very cold and it was hot today so it was very refreshing. I around 11:30 am on a Sunday but the store was closed so I went to do some shopping in the plaza. When I walked back to my car, I saw a young man opening the doors a little after 12 noon. I asked if they opened at 12 on Sundays and he nodded so maybe the hours on Yelp need to be updated? The coconut jelly was already sitting in the display case so they aren't made to order. Since it was my first time, I asked if he could recommend a coconut jelly for me. He pointed to the taro. The cost varies depending on what flavor you choose. The taro one was $10.99, which I thought was pricey but I went with his recommendation. Taste-wise, the coconut was smooth and not overly sweet but I didn't like the grainy texture of the taro. I normally enjoy taro desserts/drinks, but I would choose a different flavor next time. The inside is very clean and well kept but service could be friendlier. Parking is easy to find in the plaza. I'm loving this location of coconut jelly king! There is a decent sized seating area and it's in a quiet plaza. My favorite is always the double coconut jelly and what I love about coconut jelly king is that their jelly is not as sweet as other coconut jelly in the area. Coconut Jelly is one of my favorite dessert places when I'm back in the area. There are of course limited amounts of flavors but if you enjoy coconut you will love this dessert. It comes in a glass jar and they have different flavors and it could be seasonal so sometimes it might not be there all the time. This time I ordered a double coconut which just means it's only coconut inside and one taro which has taro and coconut in the glass jar. Overall the flavor of the taro was pleasant and tasty! The lady here was super sweet and answered all my questions when it came to what was available and what wasn't. Also depending on the topping inside it might be a different price. Just FYI when you come here and the menu items are right in front of the cashier area. Or it never hurts to ask! The consistency of the coconut jelly and sago was delicious and easily melts in your mouth. The mangos were sweet, which was a plus. You do have to wait a few minutes for them to freshly cook/prepare it. Helpful tip is to call ahead to see what they have available since some may sell out. Overall, great dessert! read more

Coconut Jelly King is absolutely amazing. The coconut jelly is all natural and has no cloy taste you would find in an artificial mix. It's way better than Jell-O. The mango sago milk is also very flavorful. All the desserts are super well made. It's so delicious it's hard to put to words. read more

I wanted to like this place, nice little desserts not to sweet and non dairy.....so we thought. My wife has an extremely bad allergy to dairy, symptoms can include dizziness, vertigo, congestion, and headaches. She didn't finish her jelly, she said it tasted funny and immediately after she had dizziness and vertigo. My son also has issue with dairy but not to that extreme and he experienced heavy gas, so which brings the question...? Is it 100% coconut creme, is it a lie. Had the product tested for lactose and well it was off the charts, I will not be buying anything from this place ever again. If you have a dairy allergy or intolerance please don't shop here. read more

Family-owned coconut dessert spot in the Vons plaza. They also have teas, pancakes, and cakes (whole ones). Came here with my sister around 7pm on a Monday evening to get some dessert and there was no line. They recently had a grand opening, so I'm hopeful that they'll be successful. Credit cards accepted. Free parking in the plaza. Indoor seating available. We got a red bean coconut jelly and a matcha jelly. The desserts were very similar to Melo-Melo, but a tad less sweet (which was perfect for us). They were silky and perfect for a hot day. The matcha flavor was light, and the red bean was more robust. While awaiting a Dash order at neighboring El Taco Nazo, I snuck in for a rapid fire single scoop of their Ube ice cream. Imagine those starchy sweet flavors of the Filipino fave Ube, commingled with coconut...all in that uniquely dense Lappertian texture that makes them a Polynesian powerhouse!!

Jasmine Oolong Milktea with Black Tea Jelly was floral and creamy. All toppings were fresh and had a snappy texture. The lingering aftertaste is a subtle tea taste. We both had the meat lovers crepe and I was waiting for the flavor to come together but none of the ingredients really worked well with one another. Really salty bits of bacon and spam with surprisingly bitter lettuce and a sauce that lacked any power to cut through the fat. I personally think this place is really missing a pork belly or beef slice protein option for savory flavor with less salt. The savory sauce is also lacking, something sweet like hoisin sauce might help a lot. The signature noodles are also a total ripoff, I expected at least some toppings for a whopping $8, but it was just some noodles with a couple green onions tossed on top. The sauce wasn't even that impressive, it tasted like sesame oil and soy sauce, and not even the good seasoning soy sauce. Very disappointed with the noodles for $8. At the end of the day, the only reason I would go here is because of the nostalgia of a Chinese crepe meal, but it fell below expectations. It didn't taste the worst, but for how unhealthy the meal is, it doesn't hit like a good old burger or some curry with naan.
