We love Coconut Jelly King! This location is way better than the Rowland Heights location because it is bigger and has better parking. We always pick up the Double Coconut and Coconut Latte which are amazing. The service is fast and they are so nice with packing the items in containers for us. The ambiance is very modern and clean. Coconut Jelly King has arrived in the City of Walnut. It resides within the Lemon Creek Village. I've known this coconut brand for years even before its competitors. Upon entry, there were no customers inside the shop. Great seating space. It was very clean. The young gentleman who helped us was patient as we were deciding on which jars of coconut to buy. It was towards the end of the evening so the coconut jelly selections were limited. Luckily, they had the flavors that my daughters and I usually get. Here are they are... Double coconut jelly Taro cococut jelly Hazelnut cococut jelly Matcha coconut jelly I believe they changed the recipes on their coconut jelly flavors. Unfortunately, the overall taste was bland. I was craving coconut jelly from another popular place but didn't want to make the drive and opted for this place. To my surprise it was DELICIOUS and satisfied my cravings. It's super soft and a little denser than the other popular place which i did like that day so I could munch abit and enjoy the flavor more rather than just slurping it fast. The spot is located in a plaza with lots of parking next to Wells Fargo. When you enter they have an astronaut them going on, super cute! Wanted to try this place since I always pass the store. I really enjoyed the coconut flavor, it reminded me of my childhood. The jelly is very silky and smooth. Be careful to make sure the jelly doesn't fall off the spoon since it can be quite slippery. The jar is great quality, I will be reusing them for other drinks and desserts! Even though this place always look quiet inside, they have delicious dessert and I think majority people just get it to go rather than dine-in. We always get it for to-go and we bought 2 pineapple coconut jelly, 1 double coconut, and 1 matcha coconut jelly yesterday. It was about $32 for 4 desserts. It isn't overly flashy or trying too hard to be trendy--it just feels peaceful and thoughtfully put together. Definitely the kind of place where you can slow down and actually enjoy your tea. But let's talk about the reason I came here: the Matcha Green Tea Frappe. SO. GOOD. What immediately stood out to me was that this didn't taste like one of those drinks where the actual matcha gets completely buried underneath sugar. You can genuinely taste the matcha and the quality of the tea. It has that distinct matcha flavor while still being creamy and enjoyable. And the topping?! Instead of just throwing regular whipped cream on it, they top it with whipped matcha and roasted peanuts, which gives it this really interesting combination of creamy, earthy, nutty flavors. The peanuts add a little texture and complement the matcha surprisingly well. It tasted intentional rather than just sweet for the sake of being sweet. The smooth, light, melt-in-your-mouth custard is nice and thick, so the ratio of custard to crust is like 15:1 (how it should be, in my opinion!). Pictures do it no justice--you absolutely have to try it. I tried it the next morning after refrigeration and microwaving for 22sec, and it was so delicious, I finished the entire piece! And now I'm super full. But it was worth it. They also have a chocolate version that I was considering, but opted to go with their most popular, which is yummy enough to go out of your way for. Also tried their floral quartet oolong milk tea with boba. Tea was ok but boba was lackluster, a bit too stretchy and not sweet enough. That custard pastry though, easily brings this spot up to 5 stars. Small shop just to place your order at the counter and leave with goodies. Cute bread themed interior: baguette door handles, a variety of bread squishies for the kiddos to play with while you order, and a large rolling pin light fixture above you. Do yourself and your friends and family a favor and bring home at least a few of the butter caramel tarts. They're each nicely packaged in a windowed bag with branded sticker, so they're easy to gift. And each one comes with a packaged glove with which to enjoy your treat and not have to wash your hands.

The crust is amazing; it has multiple layers and it's flaky (in a good way). If you love egg tarts like me, this place is definitely worth checking out.

The young lady explained the menu in detail and gave us a sample of their strawberry agua fresca and the café de olla. Once we tried the samples, we were excited to oder. We ordered a medium plate of green chilaquiles with asada and an egg and a medium plate of mole poblano chilaquiles with chicken and an egg. The presentation was a 10/10. We couldn't wait to take our first bite. The egg and asada looked perfect with the creama and cheese melting away. The First bite was love at first taste!! The crispy chips, the tender asada, perfectly cook egg and the green salsa gave me smile. A smile of WTF have I been missing. The mole poblano chilaquiles was aqually amazing!! The mole took us back to our visit to Puebla, where we tried authentic mole for the first time!! Props to the kitchen staff who prepared our amazing dishes. The young lady was attentive and pleasant to talk to. We thanked the owner and expressed our gratitude for the authentic food. We found a GEM!! BTW, the churros were AMAZING!!

I love this Coconut Jelly King location! My wife and I go here every week. Compared to other completion like Melo Melo the prices here are superior for more jelly and same quality The staff are very friendly and also they helped swap out an order for me when they ran out of Taro they gave me a matcha and a free waffle to replace it. Also, this is the best location because it is larger, open, and better parking spot compared to Rowland Heights. Thank you Walnut COCONUT JELLY KING! There's nothing like eating dessert that brings back childhood memories, except it's better in this rendition. Lo & behold, they have 3 Triple Coconut even at this late hour (10:40 pm). Hubby wanted the Triple Coconut, too, & 2 more Double Coconut. I also ordered one with mango puree. I learned that the coconut pudding is made at another location and the ones they sell at this location that has fruit added, these staff cut the fruit and add to the bottle. So the recipe is unknown to the staff. Best kept secret, I suppose. Believe me, I tried to copy and I have yet to achieve success. The shop is modern & clean. The staff are super friendly. Parking is free and could get challenging at peak hours due to shared among many businesses at this Diamond Plaza in Rowland Heights. Glad it's open late (11 pm), the one near us, Sam Gabriel closes at 10 pm. I'm so glad we made a dash coz we got 3 of the last Triple Coconut!
