Good drink, reasonable price and friendly service. House vietnamese coffee is strong, the way coffee should taste. Mango stormy is very refreshing and Taro stormy satisfied the sweet (not to sweet) cravings.

Nice Boba spot in Walnut. Ordered: Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea Kumquat Lemon Iced Tea Both drinks were refreshing and fruity. I am regular customer at the Ontario location. I am glad this location is closer to home. Ambiance is nice. Great place to telecommute, do schoolwork and have a group hangout. Friendly Staff. Great Service.

I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba Oat Milk ($6.13 - 70% Sugar) at R&B Tea (Walnut). Its boba pearls are sweet, bouncy, and fresh. The liquid is refreshing & generous. When mixed thoroughly, the Brown Sugar Boba Oat Milk tastes phenomenal. Its sweetness reminded me of playful cereal while its body carried that rich oat milk flavor. It's delightful. I arrived at R&B Tea (Walnut) on Wednesday (around 8:15PM). Staff is very knowledgable, tactful, and helpful. Staff politely answered my questions, and staff kindly assisted me with deciding my drink's sugar level. Staff took about one minute to complete my order. Very fast!!! Regarding R&B Tea (Walnut's) ambiance, its interior is comfortable, attractive, and welcoming. The wall artwork is beautiful. The tables and floors are very clean. The location is well-ventilated. And upbeat, relaxing music played. There's even a corner that holds a couple game materials (ex: Jenga, cards). R&B Tea (Walnut) is located across the street from Mt. San Antonio College; however, its corner spot dramatically lowers its visibility. For example, there are instances where I just forget about R&B Tea (Walnut's) existence because it fades effortlessly into its environment. If I were to nitpick R&B Tea (Walnut), I need to mention the self-checkout machine. It's touchscreen is covered in many blotchy fingerprints and smudgy old marks. R&B Tea (Walnut) needs to be more diligent in wiping/cleaning that surface. Thankfully, everything else at R&B Tea (Walnut) looked very clean. Overall, I had a very memorable, delightful experience R&B Tea (Walnut). The Brown Sugar Boba Oat Milk ($6.13 - 70% Sugar) at R&B Tea (Walnut) is competitively prices, well-portioned, refreshing, and tasty. The boba is also delightful. If thirsty or craving boba, R&B Tea (Walnut) is a very easy recommendation. 4.85 out of 5

MATCHA STORMY and Jasmine green tea with added boba and cheese foam
    Xue Vee Y.

R&B Tea offers a variety of drinks from fruit teas, milk teas, to blended drinks. Guests order from a tablet at the counter and the employees call your number when your drink is ready. I ordered a jasmine green tea with cheese foam and a matcha stormy. The jasmine tea was sweetened just right and the cheese foam added the perfect balance. The matcha stormy was harder to drink because it had large chunks of ice in it and could have been blended smoother. There are a few 2-4 person tables inside for guests to enjoy their drinks as well as a high top table. Wi-Fi is available for those who want to study/work. When we were there, people were playing table games so it wasn't the quietest place to work but I appreciate the space. Parking can be a bit tight since it's a busy complex.

Service was quick, but beware of the Gen Z attitude, it is next to Mt. SAC. It's a cool spot, I messed up and got a Vietnamese coffee, not their specialty. It wasn't bad, but I should have got one of the more popular items. I'm definitely coming back to redeem myself, their cheese cake foam was delicious on the coffee, but the coffee was mehhh, so definitely getting a boba. I ordered through a kiosk, no one greeted me, they didn't even call out my name for the order either. I was randomly walking by and saw my drink. So be prepared with real social distancing. The place was nice able to put post its on the board, ample seating and there were several groups hanging out when I came, so it seems popular.

I used to go to this one boba place in Monterey park called bubble crush and they used to sell this Thai tea smoothie that I have never been able to find in any other boba place. Well I did some research and I found this place. It came up on my Google, take a look at their stormy series. So I had to drive Saturday night to come try it out. It was pretty late Saturday night when I arrived but I noticed how clean the place is! I ordered through the iPad on the front and ordered a thai tea stormy with boba. Sat down and waited about 10 minutes before my drink came out. I didn't really communicate with the workers. When they brought out the drink, she didn't say much but called my name. So I guess maybe greeting customers when they come in would be something I'd change but other than that- the drink was great! It isn't exactly like the one I used to get but it's definitely super close! Will come again and possibly customize it!

They have a big variety of teas and a few frap like drinks. I didn't see any smoothies. I did enjoy my mango green tea very refreshing on a hot day. My son's Oreo icee was good however it taste like a lot of icy and Oreos just thrown in. I feel like it's missing something. My son enjoyed his watermelon icee. They have a few tables and places to sit. I really like the decor, and the art that they have on the walls. It's a cute little spot for pictures, and I like that they have a few card games to play if you come with a friend.

R & B Tea in Walnut seems like a chill spot to hang out and study with your friend's vibe. I came here during the night and it was pretty busy with a ton of people in here already sitting down with friends. They have a wide variety of options that you can pick from. I picked a strawberry flavor since I like strawberries and I have to say it was pretty tasty! I can't wait to come back and try other drinks from here.

the (very caffeinated) MATCHA STORMY & THAI TEA STORMY
    Eli B.

UPDATE: Heads up from a family member who's a regular: they recently changed their coffee formula to be REALLY strong. So strong, it upset my partner's stomach today. Vietnamese coffee from them before was ok, but this week's? Had him puking because he had it on an empty stomach. This new stuff is not for the weak (or caffeine-sensitive). I myself had a watermelon stormy. It started off with great watermelon flavor, but got bland at the end. If you get a stormy, taro or matcha (if you can handle a strong caffeine) are the popular choices for a reason.

STRAWBERRY MATCHA and PEACH MILK TEA.

The matcha taste good and strawberry is right amount of delicious sweetness. There is a self ordering tablet as well. Honorable mention: the lady working there with glasses, she is kind towards the customers. I will be back to this place only when i crave boba and go with my friends lol.

When we arrived at the front of the line, the cashier automatically handed us samples of their summer tea offering. It was quite aromatic and refreshing. We didn't opt to get that, but I did order their Dong Ding Oolong Tea with boba. We waited for about five minutes before receiving our drinks. It's always nice to see their boba drinks come with a cup sleeve and string! When tasting my drink, you can taste the oolong perfectly and it's a subtle type of sweetness. Their boba is very chewy, but sweet, too. The workers here were kind and it was a very clean environment. Just like their tea, their shop is clean and to utter perfection. Their workers were trained well. I'd come back again for good tea!

We also got the lychee smoothie, oolong milk tea and the lemon kumquat tea. All our drinks were ordered at 50% sweetness. All drinks were a hit. The jasmine milk tea tastes very similar to a milk tea competitor that shares the same name scheme (Cha_ _ _). ChaHalo has good boba and more variety, though, which is a plus! Their lychee smoothie was perfectly sweet at 50%. The oolong milk tea had the perfect milk to tea ratio, and the lemon kumquat tea was refreshing. Matcha lovers, this one is worth the stop…read more I visited Chayan not too long after they opened, and this was such a good find in Rowland Heights. First of all, the space itself is beautiful. The traditional Chinese-inspired aesthetic gives the shop such an elegant, calm atmosphere. It isn't overly flashy or trying too hard to be trendy--it just feels peaceful and thoughtfully put together. Definitely the kind of place where you can slow down and actually enjoy your tea. But let's talk about the reason I came here: the Matcha Green Tea Frappe. SO. GOOD. What immediately stood out to me was that this didn't taste like one of those drinks where the actual matcha gets completely buried underneath sugar. You can genuinely taste the matcha and the quality of the tea. It has that distinct matcha flavor while still being creamy and enjoyable. And the topping?! Instead of just throwing regular whipped cream on it, they top it with whipped matcha and roasted peanuts, which gives it this really interesting combination of creamy, earthy, nutty flavors. The peanuts add a little texture and complement the matcha surprisingly well. It tasted intentional rather than just sweet for the sake of being sweet. That's probably my biggest recommendation before coming here: if you're looking for an extremely sugary, dessert-style matcha, this may not be what you're looking for. This is much more about actually tasting the tea. If you want something loaded with sugar where the matcha disappears somewhere in the background... Starbucks is right there. But if you appreciate a more balanced drink where you can actually taste good-quality matcha, I absolutely recommend giving Chayan a try. Beautiful atmosphere, quality tea, unique flavors, and an overall really relaxing experience. I'll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

There's seating indoors with the ordering kiosks. Unfortunately, the tea flavor wasn't very strong and it was more milky. Not too sweet even at the Recommended levels so that's good. Black Tea Cold Brew: not strong enough and just tasted generic. Da-Hong-Pao Tea Frappe: very milky with a hint of a nutty black tea. The cream and crunchies on top were a nice addition. Osmanthus & Lychee Lemon Tea: very refreshing and sweeter than the other drinks. I'd definitely recommend it. With so many boba places in the area, especially with ChaHalo down the street, it might be difficult to succeed.

Unfortunately, it's a frugal, bland drink with tasteless, squishy boba. There's no tea flavor.... this drink tastes like tap water with milk. (Quick Note: If you don't request milk, they use powder.) I arrived at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) on Friday (around 12:24PM). The customer parking lot had plenty of spots. Parking is easy. Customers order at the counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is welcoming, laid back, and helpful. My drink took about three minutes. Quick. As mentioned, I disliked the Roasted Oolong Milk Tea ($4.75) w/ Whole Milk (75 cents) and Brown Sugar Boba (additional 75 cents). It tastes like "nothing." The flavor of watered-down milk and water jello balls encapsulates its flavor profile. The boba was not bouncy; rather, the texture resembles deflated marshmallows. However, the lovely ambiance at Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) is the ONLY reason why the review score is so high. Despite the awful, frugal drinks, this business is a college student's hidden paradise. The location is very clean, calming, and comfortable. There's about 15 tables, and there's about 8 electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; the details are on a small card at the counter. This location also has a self-service water station and a gender neutral restroom. Qyuancha Teashop (Walnut) is also decorated lovingly. I appreciated the book aesthetic and the hanging leaves. It's also very quiet inside. The location felt like a well-ventilated, comfy library.
