Ice cream is a SUPER special treat for me. This place is super chill and perfect for college students looking for a place to play jenga or charge up their laptop while working on the next assignment due.. all in the meantime enjoying some irresistible ice cream. I got a single scoop of mango and it's actually 2 scoops served by a man with a Hollywood smile, face-- rocking a hair net like nobody's business. There's several options to enjoy said creamy goodness-- crepes, ice cream sushi rolls, mini pancakes.. plain sugar cone or wafer cones.
I visited here with a friend on a weekday afternoon. This place is located in a large strip mall and serves Lapperts brand ice cream. After considering the many unique flavors, I chose two scoops in a cup: Kahlua Truffle and Kauai Pie. There are quite a few tables inside so we sat and enjoyed our ice cream. Both of my scoops were creamy with bold flavor. The Kauai Pie was coffee ice cream with macadamia nuts, coconut, and chocolate fudge. I normally don't care for nuts in my ice cream but the small bits weren't overdone and gave some good crunch. The Kahlua Truffle tasted like Kahlua with Kona Coffee and plenty of delicious dark chocolate pieces. I absolutely loved both of my scoops. My friend got a single scoop of Mango Sorbet which I tried a bite of. The flavor was vivid and I would definitely recommend this flavor too. If you love ice cream, this is a top-tier place that you need to patronize if you are in the area.
Amazing customer service! The owner was so nice and allowed us to try a sample of the mini pancakes. All 3 of us enjoyed our ice creams and will definitely be coming back for the crepes and mini pancakes

Superb creamy frozen treats, great to beat desert mountain heat. Located right across from Mount San Antonio college parking lot you will find your ice cream cravings filled. Cute interior with table games and places for the family to enjoy their treats. Delightful flavors, made with fresh ingredients. I wanted a banana split, and I got it with some fun flavors. Kona macadamia Peanut butter chocolate Raspberry swirl Topped with hot fudge, caramel, whip cream and toasted nuts. It was delicious, I wanted to eat all the flavors. Next time I am visiting my friend in LA we will be back!
Scoopz Ice Cream had great ice cream with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. I tried the Kona Coffee (made with cold-filtered Kona coffee) and the Thatch Rood Sundae (vanilla ice cream, chocolate fudge, and chocolate almonds). Both were excellent--rich in flavor without being overly sweet, just right. A single scoop is $4.99, and you can split it into two flavors, which is a great option. Wish they had a coffee flavor mixed with nuts though. Conveniently located across from the Mt. SAC campus with ample parking. I would definitely recommend stopping by.
I've been to Scoopz twice and the we have had the ice cream ! So delish ! My hubby had the Kona coffee and I had the pistachio ! It was so good ! We love it in a cup with a cone ! I think we were the only ones there so plenty of seatingWe haven't tried the other menu items yet but we are looking forward to checking it out. I am a creature of habit ! If you're in the Walnut and or Mt Sac area stop by ! Check their hours first ! One time we went and they were closed.
Great neighborhood ice cream shop. Ordered a scoop of the coffee ice cream, and it was very flavorful. Tasted the banana and date flavors and they were good. Plenty of seating available, and plenty of parking in the strip mall.
There are so many flavors to choose from! I was able to sample a few. A scoop is plentiful for my belly. Our server was so friendly and patient as my friends and I were so indecisive. Very clean place as well. It wasn't busy when I was there but when I left, a lot of people arrived. Highly recommend! Let's support our local businesses!!!!

All the slices of banana and strawberries were tucked inside, very generously too I might add. I also got one single scoop of pistachio ice cream. What I loved specifically about this pistachio ice cream is it was filled with pistachios in almost every bite unlike other ice cream's. Great, friendly service and I really appreciated the few vegan options as well. They weren't the boring typical flavors that are typically offered like other places. They were yummy vibrant flavors. The inside of the shop is also very cutely decorated and it's kept clean.
I came by last weekend for some ice cream with the family after dinner next door. I noticed that they now serve Mediterranean items: Turkish coffee, Salaam Cola, pistachio & chocolate crepes (Dubai chocolate inspired), and Dubai chocolate. When I mentioned the new items to the employee, he informed me that Scoopz is under new ownership, and that the previous owner moved back to Hawaii. They still serve Lappert's ice cream and the menu is mostly same (ice cream, shakes, sundaes). I actually came back a couple days later to pick up one of their Dubai chocolates to see what the hype is about - apparently it's viral on Tik Tok. They sell bars here for $8.99 each. I spoke with the new owner, she was super friendly and when I asked where she got the chocolates, she told me she made them herself! The chocolate comes in a gold colored wrapper - I felt like I was opening a Wonka chocolate. It's decorated in gold and green chocolate on the top and is filled with a pistachio cream and knafeh. She said it was a lot of work to make and I told her it was made with a lot of love because it is soo good! It's creamy from the pistachio, but crispy from the knafeh, and such a decadent combo. Props to the owner for making such a yummy treat. If you haven't tried one of these yet, stop by Scoopz and pick one up - you won't regret it!
Came here to get treats for the kids. We ordered Thatch Rood Sundae, Pistachio, Cotton Candy, Lychee, and Dubai Ice Cream Bar. All were good, creamy and good amount of bits and pieces of ingredients especially in Pistachio and Thatch Rood Sundae. The Dubai Ice Cream was good although I still don't get all the hype around this. The shop was clean and the staff was patient in giving us some samples of the flavors.

The worker was so sweet and welcoming. Decor was simple and added a nice vibe to the environment. The waffle cones were good and the flavor selection was unique. We were offered a free sample of the mini pancakes which were absolutely incredible. We will be coming back to order a batch. Great spot!! read more

My wife and I were in the Chino Hills area, and were in the mood for some ice cream. A quick Yelp area search gave several suggestions but Scoopz Premium Ice Cream, in Walnut, CA caught my eye after seeing their Dubai Strawberry Chocolate cup. I showed my wife who wanted to try it. We walked in to a very clean shop with a gentleman behind the counter greeting us warmly and immediately asking us if we would like to sample any flavors. Honestly, this was the first time my wife and I had hear of Lappert's branded ice cream from Hawaii. The flavor this had on hand during our visit was making it very difficult to decide which flavor(s) to settle on. We finally made our decisions. My wife wanted to try the small size of the Dubai Strawberry Chocolate cup, and I settled on a cup with a scoop of Blueberry Cheesecake and Bing cherry. The gentleman behind the counter is Ibrahim. He is so chill and friendly with all of his customers. He quickly scooped up my ice cream flavors,and then worked on my wife's Dubai cup. After sitting at a table, we tried our ice cream treats. My wife was so happy with her Dubai Chocolate Strawberry cup. I tried a bite as well. Warm, rich, milk chocolate drizzled generously over fresh strawberries, crispy, shredded kataifi, & rich pistachio butter. Wow, so tasty and deliciously decadent. My wife polished off her dessert in record time. My blueberry cheesecake was good, but that bing cherry ice cream was one on of the best bing cherry ice creams I hav tasted in a long time. Both ice creams from Lapper's were so creamy and rich. Really good ice cream!! I cannot believe I have never had Lappert's before, but I'm glad to learn about this brand. In addition to ice cream and shakes, there also mouthwatering looking crepes on display that are made to order by the front door. As we were talking with Ibrhahim, I wished we lived closer to his wonderful, welcoming shop. But I promised hime that we would stop by his shop whenever we are in the area. read more

Absolutely Worth the Drive! What an amazing experience at Scoopz! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and polite. They happily offered us samples, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! It was my birthday, and they went above and beyond to make it special. They really hooked me up, and the kindness and customer service were just as impressive as the desserts! The ice cream was fantastic, but those mini pancakes are TO DIE FOR! Seriously, everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. I don't say this lightly, but I would gladly drive an hour just to come back here for ice cream! That's how good this place is. Oops I did it again... Ate all the ice cream before taking a photo. Came during the week, never a bad day for a scoop of ice cream in California. Inspired by other Yelpers to check out this place, glad we did! The service is great! You can ask for a sample if you're unsure what to try. We had a handful of samples before making a decision. I went with the Kahlua Truffle, very rich with dark chocolate. My wife and daughter went with the Princess cake (very fitting), sweet and flavorful. My son chose the Cookie Monster in a cone that made his mouth look like the Cookie Monster nom nom nom. Good thing there was water, the ice cream was full of flavor but sometimes you need to cleanse the pallet. Kids enjoyed playing games once they were over the afternoon treat. I hope our upcoming trip to Hawaii is as calm as it was inside with mellow music. Can't wait to go back and try more scoops! read more

Was in the mood for some ice cream and found this upon searching yelp. I've come here 2 times so far and will continue to return. This place had plenty of seating if you wanted to have ice cream there. The flavors are amazing! This last time I came in, the nice lady working allowed me to get a split scoop because I could not decide between two flavors. I got the coconut macademia and their limited flavor that they make in house which was the banana pudding and it was amazing! She gave me a generous scoop of it too! The coconut macadamia had all the right textures in it. The ice cream choices hit the spot! This place will be my new spot to get ice cream whenever I'm craving something sweet. read more

The wait in line was worth it!! My boyfriend and I came here after we ate at a Japanese restaurant in the same plaza. My boyfriend and I shared the Egyptian Pistachio and Ube ice cream. It was so refreshing for a hot Friday evening. I must admit the names of the flavors were so unique. The inside of the ice cream shop was pretty small. There were seats but not many. read more

Three stars because my niece said the regular ice cream was good. The vegan ice cream, however, is awful. I tried the coffee flavor and it was really airy and unsatisfying. The portion was also tiny. No vegan-friendly cones either. The Asian lady also barks orders at the staff and doesn't help. It made me super uncomfortable and pressured to tip when she watched me pay. read more
