*****ATTENTION Yelpers!!!***** ****Closing Sunday 9/22/24**** I just got word that this place is closing permanently directly from the employee working today. Bubble N Cone has been popping up on my suggestions for weeks now, and I've been hesitant to visit because this parking lot can be a mess. But then the great reviews and pictures have been tempting me, so today I decided to finally check it out. While asking about the store and how long they've been around (* just a year), the kid at the counter let me know that the owners are closing shop on Sunday forever. Apparently, they are owned by the folks who own the Paris Baguette next door, and they decided that they didn't want to run it anymore. No lack of business, no moving to another location... Just didn't want to deal with it anymore I guess. This is a bummer because I just had the Taro soft serve and it is perfectly sweet and delicious. Now bittersweet knowing how much I enjoy it, yet it will be gone forever soon. (See what I did there). Well having this knowledge, I'm planning to come back once, maybe twice, before they disappear. I hope that local Yelpers, or if you are just near Diamond Bar, come and try them by Sunday. Maybe not just to enjoy their delicious goodies, but to TIP these workers too before they have to find new jobs. read more

Delicious! This place is kinda like Somi Somi without the fish bread but the option of cones instead. I got the taro and cookie monster swirl after trying samples of the two individually. I also tried milk, which was more of a vanilla flavor than a fresh milk flavor like I was expecting, but still good. Out of the 3, my favorite was the taro - it has a strong taro flavor and not too sweet, but I always like to get a swirl. Cookie monster is good too, tastes like oreos. The color combo of purple and teal was hard to resist for me as well. Mochi topping was decent, pairs well with the flavors. I thought the leaf on the spoon was cute. There's no seating inside but there is a decent shaded area outside with a few tables. The service honestly stood out to me! The girl working seemed like she was still in training and referring to another guy there, but they were both very friendly, and the girl was really sweet. She definitely made my day better. There isn't any seating available inside, but there are a couple small tables outside. I believe they also allow seating at the Paris Baguette patio next door. Was in the mood for something sweet so we decided to give Bubble N Cone a try. Upon entering, you're greeted by a wall of colorful flavored cones which was cute and impressive. There was about 12 flavored cones in total including flavors like matcha, lavender, salted blue corn and birthday cake. We decided to get a cup of the taro cookie monster flavored ice cream in a matcha cone ($6). The price was reasonable for the portion size, but unfortunately the ice cream tasted just okay. I got notes of taro but the ice cream was very icy and tasted pretty artificial. The shop offers unlimited toppings which I appreciated and also decorated your spoon with a cute little leaf hair clip - very random, but also kind of cute and funny. Despite all the gimmicks however, I just wasn't impressed with the ice cream overall. Bubble N Cone is located in the Market World plaza next to Paris Baguette. Tasty dessert with a variety of flavors and I like the popping boba toppings! It's a small corner shop but when you walk in, there is an array of waffle cone flavors that are all the colors of the rainbow. Very cute! There is also a green floral wall with a cute neon sign for all your photo ops. I tried the taro/cookie monster swirl which was creamy and had distinct flavors. Was craving a late night boba with a friend and luckily this place was still open! You can self-order at their kiosks which have tons of options for drinks, toppings, and ice creams. Was a little suspicious of how pink the ube drink looked on the virtual menu, but it came out the normal color in-person. The drink was tasty and I was intrigued by the canned format with a metal lid. They even put a cut little plant sprout hairclip on each drink (made me feel like Wall-E). The staff was quick with the service and nice enough to offer a sample of their ice cream (tried Cookie Monster with matcha boba and pure milk with brown sugar boba, both tasty). Cute new boba and milky, soft serve local ice cream place! I'm a fan of the milk soft serve ice cream in K-town, but I'd be damned to make that trip just for some ice cream, so when I heard that we had one of these open up nearby, by the Paris Baguette owners no less, I knew I had to try! You can order via a touch screen kiosk or if you need extra assistance, the cashier was super helpful to the party ahead of me. Ice cream comes with the option of a single flavor or swirled in a cup (they were out of ube/taro when I was there), in a cone, or upside down in a cup with a cone on top to avoid a mess! I got this option and you can add toppings as well from the screen (I think these toppings had an extra cost to it) or at the end which had no extra cost. Very generous! These end toppings included chocolate chips, graham cracker crumbs, rainbow sprinkles, etc. I opted for only mochi and got a generous helping! The worker also gave a cute little plant sprout clip and a small chocolate stick. I'm not sure if it was intentional, but it looked like a little garden gnome with a sprout reed in his mouth? Either way it was super cute! Loved the attention to detail. What also makes this place unique is the wide variety of cones you can choose too and they're not just colorful, they're different flavors too! This includes red velvet, lavender, matcha, orange creamsicle, birthday cake, etc. I got the salted blue corn and it is a slightly salty cone, reminiscent of corn chips, but with a waffle cone texture if that makes any sense. Went great with my milk and strawberry swirl that was creamy and not too sweet and the chewiness of the mochi. First time visiting and they are brand new! There's free ice cream with boba purchase until the end of August! I got their free ube ice cream with matcha boba and it was actually very good. Both the ube ice cream and the matcha boba. I got their Vietnamese coffee milk tea and it was good but a bit too creamy/milky for me. My friend got the fruit drink and thought it was a bit too sweet. The ice cream was really creamy and delicious. We tried the brown sugar boba which was good but a little chewy. They also offer a matcha flavored boba as well as a strawberry flavored one which I've never seen before. Came here after dinner to satisfy my ice cream craving. The ice creams are around $6 and the serving is pretty generous. The cone flavor was birthday cake because I think it's extremely unique. I got the blue salted corn cone with vanilla soft serve if you're gunna get a topping like boba maybe only get it if you get a bowl.
