My boyfriend and I randomly decided to check this place out on our walk. We got the brisket pho and the pork bahn mi. The pho was AMAZING! The bahn mi was very good as well with super fresh crisp veggies. We both loved the pho broth, we both agreed on this being the best pho we've ever had. We were planning on going back for dinner lol but didn't realize the place closes at 7pm, definitely going back for more!!

I would've gave this place five stars but $13 for a fresh row is a little out of touch with reality for a couple shrimp and some noodles because everybody else has it for six or seven bucks. Other than that we sat outside. The service was great. the pho broth and size are awesome ( I think it was $19 only one size ) It was a big bowl. The flavor was great. We also had a pork sandwich that was really good.

Love the butterfly theme decor. Place is modern and clean. I had the combination Pho, pork spring rolls with the matcha latte. The pho bowl was huge with very flavorful broth and lots of meat. The matcha latte was not too sweet, totally hit the spot. Very friendly staff.

So... wanted to try the Vietnamese establishment on QA on this sunny Saturday. This is the most expensive Banh Mi I've ever paid for in my life and the worse. Pork Banh mi was $11.50 Strawberry lemonade $7.25 Total with tip was $28.77 They had great labeling to convey what you ordered but didn't cut this banh mi in half nor is it even full or meat and veggies to be this pricey. Banh mi was half filled and not like a traditional banh mi. Strawberry lemonade tastes like powder mix and not fresh.I get that it's on QA but damn was this Uber disappointing. I would have been better off at Homegrown down the way or even Big Mac. See photos.

Grand opening on top of Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood at the corner of Queen Anne Ave N & W McGraw (4/9/22), located across B&E Meats and McCarthy and Schiering wine shop. This former pizza location is now serving boba tea, banh mi sandwiches, and various coffee beverages. Crazy long line and definitely glad I remained masked, vaxxed and double boosted! There are indoor table and counter seating, as well as, outdoor tables by the tiny corner parking lot. I parked a block away on 1st Ave W to avoid the grand opening crowd. I opted only for the iced Vietnamese Coffee, Mý Khê Beach, with tax and tip, a little over $10! The breads and rotating grilled meats looked good for the banh mi sandwiches. The counter crew were slammed with food and beverage orders on this late Saturday afternoon. Clearly this is a smart business move evidently as it there is no competition, unlike other Seattle neighborhoods where these menu items are readily available en masse. Time will tell how this spot stacks up against the other four indies in Seattle: Coffeeholic (Columbia City & Greenwood), Sip House (University District), Hello Em (Little Saigon/CID), and Phin (CID). I cannot comment on the savories, boba teas, and other Illy espresso drinks yet. However, my splurge on this Vietnamese coffee is tasty and refreshing.

My boyfriend and I were interested to see a Viet place in downtown Queen Anne! We came on a Sunday afternoon and there was no line/crowd. Both of us got the Pho with brisket/meatball/steak, and he got a Vietnamese Coffee. Our pho was really mediocre; the broth was nice, but the amount and quality of meat wasn't anything to brag about. I usually like fattier pieces of brisket, but I couldn't really tell the brisket and steak slices apart. The Viet Coffee was good, pretty sweet, but not too strong. I did like the music that was playing in the back, but we likely won't be back.

I got the roasted beef banh mi and the bubble waffle with condensed milk. The beef in the banh mi was flavorful but not that special. The bread they used was a little too thin. The bubble waffle was soft and soggy. Even when I toasted it in the air fryer, it didn't taste any better. Not even when I dipped it in condensed milk. I really wanted to love this place since it's so close to work but I don't think I'll be back.

Opening Day for Queen Caphe - so glad to have them in our neighborhood. We tried the Chicken Bahn Mi and the Beef Bahn Mi. Both were good though there were some comments in our group that the bread could have been more "baguette-like" rather than a bun. The Boba was good - quite a few options are available. We tried the Strawberry Jasmine Green, the Peach Green and the Signature Milk Tea. Of those, we liked the Signature Milk Tea best - it had the most Tea Flavor. This was opening day so there was a line out the door! They were out of many items by the time of our afternoon visit. [no pork or tofu bahn mi, no Matcha lava tea, no bubble waffle etc]. I'm sure conditions will improve. We'll be back - and again it's great to have a bahn mi and boba place on Queen Anne.

We didn't realize that the DIY Tea Lab also shares the same space with Just Poke so that was a nice surprise, though, we didn't order any poke because we just ate lunch at a nearby pho restaurant. For the drinks, I got the Mango Sago and my husband ordered the Matcha Coco with Sea Salt Ube Cream. We were the only customers in line during our visit which was nice. Staffing is the same for both Just Poke and DIY Tea Lab but they have two separate registers. The person that helped us was busy making a poke plate for a customer upon entering but he helped us fairly quickly. I shared the mango sago with my two toddlers and they loved it! The drink had a good balance of sweetness. The pairing of the sago and chunks of mango was perfection with the drink. The matcha coco with ube cream was also delicious. The ube cream went well with the matcha. And the boba had a soft, yet chewy texture. As a side note, the employee who made our drinks realized that he forgot to put the ube cream after he sealed the drink. He made us a new drink and he let us keep the other drink which was very kind gesture. Really, I can't say anything negative about our orders and customer service. If we didn't have to drive an hour at this establishment, we would probably frequent this area more, though one downside is that parking can be hard to find. Street parking seems to be the only option. We parked two blocks away because there was no available parking nearby. We paid $7 for 4 hours although there is a an option of $5 for 2 hours. We wanted to explore the area so we paid for more hours.

Signature Milk Tea, Less Sweet, 50% Ice w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7.25) - Interesting. This is the 2nd time in Seattle I've seen a boba shop put a piece of wax paper in between the cup and the lid, to allow the customer to shake the drink and get that satisfy pop of a boba straw piercing the top. This drink is ridiculously sweet, so cloying that my mouth puckered while sipping on it. I could not drink more than a couple of sips before having to stop. It's perhaps 200% or maybe even 300% sugar level as compared to other places. The taste is also not very pleasant to me. Not only is it extremely harsh but for some reason, there's somewhat of a stale undertone to the entire drink, kind of reminding me of the essence of cardboard mixed with an old Chinese herb shop. I believe they use real tea leaves to brew their tea, so the taste is puzzling. The ice level at half is essentially like full ice at any other establishment. When the drink is completely cooled, the ice still fills up approximately the top third of the cup. When I visited, they had just run out of the regular boba, but they still had the brown sugar boba in stock. For the same price as the regular boba? Great! And then I bit into my first one.... This is not boba. The pearls are agar based cuboids. Why call these brown sugar boba? That's false advertising in my book. Milk Tea Rating: 2/5 (and I'm being generous) Boba rating: 1/5 I feel bad giving such a low rating to this family owned establishment, but the drink I got was not up to par. Given the high ratings from other reviewers, I have to assume that I just received a poorly made drink and they're usually better. Bathrooms - One unisex room Edit: I stashed the drink in my fridge for a couple of days and after diluting it by about half with freshly brewed assam tea, it's much more palatable due to the reduction in sweetness. The harsh taste stale is still there, though, and there's still no tea flavor.
