    Roasted pork bahn mi
    Diana C.

The boba was pretty good and so were the Bahn mis. I think the bread maybe could have been fresher and crispier, but the filling was delicious and they actually give you decently spicy jalapeños too. The server was very kind and helpful with my questions about ingredients and dietary restrictions. The tofu Bahn mi is vegetarian but not vegan with the mayo and sauce. The ambiance was nice inside with a couple of tables, but a large part of their business seems to be takeout like what we did. They do have a patio for nicer weather and a big parking lot in front too.

The food was good!the service is friendly and the ambiance was nice and casual. I just think that the prices were less than stellar like the spring rolls were 13.50?! It's so easy to make and for so much less i think that they need to lower some of their prices to be honest.

My boyfriend and I randomly decided to check this place out on our walk. We got the brisket pho and the pork bahn mi. The pho was AMAZING! The bahn mi was very good as well with super fresh crisp veggies. We both loved the pho broth, we both agreed on this being the best pho we've ever had. We were planning on going back for dinner lol but didn't realize the place closes at 7pm, definitely going back for more!!

I would've gave this place five stars but $13 for a fresh row is a little out of touch with reality for a couple shrimp and some noodles because everybody else has it for six or seven bucks. Other than that we sat outside. The service was great. the pho broth and size are awesome ( I think it was $19 only one size ) It was a big bowl. The flavor was great. We also had a pork sandwich that was really good.

Love the butterfly theme decor. Place is modern and clean. I had the combination Pho, pork spring rolls with the matcha latte. The pho bowl was huge with very flavorful broth and lots of meat. The matcha latte was not too sweet, totally hit the spot. Very friendly staff.

So... wanted to try the Vietnamese establishment on QA on this sunny Saturday. This is the most expensive Banh Mi I've ever paid for in my life and the worse. Pork Banh mi was $11.50 Strawberry lemonade $7.25 Total with tip was $28.77 They had great labeling to convey what you ordered but didn't cut this banh mi in half nor is it even full or meat and veggies to be this pricey. Banh mi was half filled and not like a traditional banh mi. Strawberry lemonade tastes like powder mix and not fresh.I get that it's on QA but damn was this Uber disappointing. I would have been better off at Homegrown down the way or even Big Mac. See photos.

Grand opening on top of Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood at the corner of Queen Anne Ave N & W McGraw (4/9/22), located across B&E Meats and McCarthy and Schiering wine shop. This former pizza location is now serving boba tea, banh mi sandwiches, and various coffee beverages. Crazy long line and definitely glad I remained masked, vaxxed and double boosted! There are indoor table and counter seating, as well as, outdoor tables by the tiny corner parking lot. I parked a block away on 1st Ave W to avoid the grand opening crowd. I opted only for the iced Vietnamese Coffee, Mý Khê Beach, with tax and tip, a little over $10! The breads and rotating grilled meats looked good for the banh mi sandwiches. The counter crew were slammed with food and beverage orders on this late Saturday afternoon. Clearly this is a smart business move evidently as it there is no competition, unlike other Seattle neighborhoods where these menu items are readily available en masse. Time will tell how this spot stacks up against the other four indies in Seattle: Coffeeholic (Columbia City & Greenwood), Sip House (University District), Hello Em (Little Saigon/CID), and Phin (CID). I cannot comment on the savories, boba teas, and other Illy espresso drinks yet. However, my splurge on this Vietnamese coffee is tasty and refreshing.

My boyfriend and I were interested to see a Viet place in downtown Queen Anne! We came on a Sunday afternoon and there was no line/crowd. Both of us got the Pho with brisket/meatball/steak, and he got a Vietnamese Coffee. Our pho was really mediocre; the broth was nice, but the amount and quality of meat wasn't anything to brag about. I usually like fattier pieces of brisket, but I couldn't really tell the brisket and steak slices apart. The Viet Coffee was good, pretty sweet, but not too strong. I did like the music that was playing in the back, but we likely won't be back.

Opening Day for Queen Caphe - so glad to have them in our neighborhood. We tried the Chicken Bahn Mi and the Beef Bahn Mi. Both were good though there were some comments in our group that the bread could have been more "baguette-like" rather than a bun. The Boba was good - quite a few options are available. We tried the Strawberry Jasmine Green, the Peach Green and the Signature Milk Tea. Of those, we liked the Signature Milk Tea best - it had the most Tea Flavor. This was opening day so there was a line out the door! They were out of many items by the time of our afternoon visit. [no pork or tofu bahn mi, no Matcha lava tea, no bubble waffle etc]. I'm sure conditions will improve. We'll be back - and again it's great to have a bahn mi and boba place on Queen Anne.

I got the roasted beef banh mi and the bubble waffle with condensed milk. The beef in the banh mi was flavorful but not that special. The bread they used was a little too thin. The bubble waffle was soft and soggy. Even when I toasted it in the air fryer, it didn't taste any better. Not even when I dipped it in condensed milk. I really wanted to love this place since it's so close to work but I don't think I'll be back.

Service is exceptionally fast and was sat immediately - the staff are very kind. I did not take a picture of it but I ordered a vermicelli bowl with grilled pork and shrimp fresh rolls to go after my visit. Fast forward a year later to a Sunday at 12:30pm and I finally made the long drive here without going through Aurora Ave since my GPS randomly decided to give my road rage some grace. Only confusion was finding the entrance to this place, but when I did I was actually surprised where I was stepping into. There's a TV playing sports nearby where I was, and Vietnamese pop music was playing in the background too. Menu consists of regular foods in most Vietnamese restaurants, though their provincial noodle soups and banh mi sandwiches caught my eye. They even have bún măng vịt (duck and bamboo shoot noodle soup), my favorite that I gotta try next time I come here! From my IG feeds and as a starting point, I got their bánh mì thịt heo nướng (grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich), which comes with all the works of a regular banh mi sandwich, though I was kinda surprised how brightly orange the grilled pork was. Regardless, it was tasty and the meat was juicy. The pork pate added a nice savory touch to the sandwich, and no other condiment was in excess that it took away taste from the flavorful grilled pork. Staff was very kind throughout, and refilled my water every now and then. It was also nice chatting with one of them about our day and other recommendations from the menu. I think they also forgot to give us the heo quay because we had to ask for it much after the banh uot came out. I would skip this next time. I would also skip the banh khot as it was on the softer, chewier side when my personal preference is light and crispy. Those who do like it soft will definitely enjoy it though. As for flavor, it had an extremely prominent coconut taste- it usually isn't so strong in banh khot so I wasn't so fond of this. My family did really enjoy the com tam and banh mi chao. I only had one bite of each, but I would get these items again. Their drinks on the other hand, were delightful. I got the tamarind black tea and my step dad got the lychee green tea. Something I didn't enjoy was the service. There really wasn't much service at all. We walked in and were pointed to a table with menus, but there were no utensils or water. We had to struggle to get the staff's attention whenever we needed something for the table, so that's definitely a one-star experience for me. Fortunately, the ambiance was great. It's a very nicely decorated place, so I guess they have that going for them. Will I be coming back? For the coffee, yes. For the food, no. For the service, absolutely not. Anyway, I'm glad I tried it.
